Came here today and had a great experience. They don't tell pricing over the phone, which I think it's really strange.. so I had to come in to find out pricing. $25 for basic pedi, $35 for gel pedi. Was $45 for SNS on my natural nails, but they are medium-long. I really love my nails and my pedicure! Great customer service. I went here to get gel polish removed and add an acrylic overlay. My natural nails had become so weak due to constantly getting gel polish. When I asked the tech what I can do to strengthen my nails, he was honest and told me I should just take the polish off and let my nails breath. He could have upsold me on something or completed the service I requested and made more money but I followed his advice and just got the polish removed and now my nails are back to normal. I recommend this because I like honest customer service and a nail salon that values the health of their clients nails over just doing a service for money. read more

I was told about this nail shop from an acquaintance and told they did good work. LIES! LIES! Nasty establishment. I went in and was very hesitant at the door and instead of following my first mind I stayed, my mistake. The mail tech didn't wash her hands, wear gloves, change the drill bits between service and took pieces of the acrylic out of the container and flicked it across the table, where it landed on me without apology. She rushed and half a** filed my nails and also ended up cutting my cuticles. I paid for the gel polish and before the week was out it has chipped. This is my favorite nail shop in Atlanta. Let me start by saying that it is not all of the "glitz and glamour" that some people look for....its does not have "spa" type feel but what it does have is talented technicians, years of experience, creativity, and unbeatable prices! It is not decorated with that "posh/chic" style but who cares??... Those places tend to come with higher prices and oftentimes less quality work. The place is usually busy but definitely worth the wait. I literally walk in and trust them to pick my color and design. The most they might ask is if I want something bright or neutral and they take it from there. Neal and Tony are great. They definitely remember repeat customers and make your experience entertaining. I come here pretty often as it is on the way between freeway and work. I tried a place in mid-town previously, but swung by one day when I looked down and saw that I was in need of serious nailtervention. Personally I like chatting it up with the folks there. I think they are hilarious and it helps to pass the little time it takes to fill and paint my nails. It is cheap (yay) but still quite good-- a rare combination for nail service you know. There is a large variety of good nail polish (OPI, China Glaze etc..). I am a huge fan of this one gold China Glaze color. I told them and they said I could buy a bottle. They are actually ordering it this week so I can have it before I go home for Christmas. YAY! It's a small place and it's always packed, which I take as a very good sign. Who wants to go somewhere that is empty? Packed place that is fast? Like other yelpers have said, they do very creative nail art here. I brought my Moms here when she came to visit and she did the whole shabang. Very nice. I think it's hilarious that when you walk in, directly to the right, there are all these mannequin hands covered in the awesome nail art. It's pretty freaky and wonderful. I became convinced about trying out this place after seeing several of my friends having HOT designs on their toes after getting pedicures here. I love a great pedicure as much as the next girl, especially ones with colorful and unique foot artwork. In my experience here in Atlanta, the few shops I went to in Buckhead were pretty sidity and didn't "do designs" So, I had to venture more into midtown shops to be able to rock some nail art. Most of the shops that do the most creative and vibrant designs are in "the hood" and that's exactly where I found Q nails. Conveniently, my school was less than a minute from the shop, so that was a plus. My experience at Q nails was just average, but i'll break down the pros and cons. Pros: Cheap ($20 for a pedicure with designs and tip) Fast (in and out in 30 minutes) Great Really Creative designs (basically anything you can think of) Cons: Small shop (I'm not good with eyeballing measurements, but I'd say it was about 650 sq. ft) Crowded: It's a popular nail shop in the neighborhood so it's usually packed (it was crowded when I went, and I've been advised to never go on a weekend or you will have to wait a while) Noisy: Between all the people talking/arguing, the TV, and regular nail shop sounds it was quite loud. I prefer a more peaceful pedicure experience Annoying nail tech: He kept asking me really irritating questions "Why is your pinky toe nail so short? Do you mess with it? You must do mess with it or something for it to look like this? Has it always been like this? What's this hard spot on the bottom of your foot? Have you ever stepped on a nail? You had to have stepped on something for this to happen" Geez guy! Overall, my experience at Q nails left me underwhelmed. Given the awesome designs I had seen on my friends' toes, and the other customers in the shop at the time getting their nails done, mine looked like the nail guy had just started working yesterday. I told him to do something that he thought was cute and he gave me some generic lines and dots. I know he could've done better. Not to mention he harrassed me with a battery of questions about my feet! Yes, I have small pinky toe nails and a hard spot on the bottom of my foot....SORRY! Lol, anyways, I think I will give this shop one more chance because I am really jealous of the work my friends have had done there and I want to have stellar toes too! They know all the latest nail trends and have almost any color, glitter, etc you bring to the table! They stay packed but make sure to get you in and out in a decent time! I just started working in this area. I needed my nails done and this is one of the closest shops to my job. I figured they had to be pretty good b/c they are always packed. It also doesnt help that the entire salon is roughly the size of an apartment bedroom. I came in there to get my nails and feet done and also ended up getting an eyebrow arch. While i got my nails done I saw about five people got their brows done. They all came out really pretty. My brows looked awful and I knew I didnt have time to go to my regular salon. I was kinda nervous b/c I only let nail techs do my nails. I do not go to nail salons for brow and lash services. Needless to say they turned out great and only set me back $7. My nails turned out well. I received tons of compliments on my hands and feet. They actually listen to what the customer wants and do not force other services on you like many other nail salons tend to do. My issues with Q Nails are; the shop is way too small. They do not have a wide selection of quality nail polishes. They had a few O.P.I and no essie which is one of my faves. They do brows right in the middle of the salon. Every nail salon I have been to has a room where waxing services are performed. This salon is very reasonably priced. I paid $50 for all three services. Next time I will come during my lunch break and hope they are less busy. read more

I absolutely love this place. From the friendly yet sarcastic staff (the younger males) to the quiet, yet friendly women staff. I am never disappointed with their quality of work as I always go in for the same services (overlay, pedicure, and eyebrows). Speaking of eyebrows, the matriarch SNATCHES the brows and I mean that in a great way! Additionally, it is a family business. Gotta love a family that is great at their craft and making money together. My only issue would be related to the size of the place. They have a large clientele but the shop doesn't illustrate or accommodate that. So, if you go on the wrong day you might be packaged like sardines.
