I just got home from my first-ever Total Wine pickup at this location, and it was by far the worst…read morecustomer service experience I've ever had with this company. I've been shopping at Total Wine for over 9 years and have never encountered anything like this. The pickup interaction lasted less than five minutes, yet it left me so upset that I cried in my car afterward. I don't know the employee's name, but she should not be working in customer-facing role. From the start, she yelled at me for being in the "wrong" pickup spot and complained that it made her job harder. She was extremely rude to both me and my husband, despite us being polite and doing nothing to warrant that treatment. When placing the items in my trunk, she didn't even bother to close it--and then rushed away so quickly it felt intentional and dismissive. When I asked to confirm what was in the pickup box (we ordered 2 bottles of wine, a 6-pack of beer, and a small bottle of amaretto), she said, "Here's your 4 bottles." I calmly clarified that it should be 3 bottles and a 6-pack. She responded by glaring at me intensely, rolling her eyes, ripping the box open, and saying, "You can look for yourself" Her tone and body language were aggressive and hostile. It's hard to fully capture the interaction because so much of it was her attitude, but the disrespect was shocking. No customer deserves to be treated this way, especially during a simple pickup order. This experience was completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing for a brand I've trusted for years. Is this really the standard of service this location is okay with?

Parking is a little tight in the attached garage. The only downside is the wine recommendations by total wine and more, after purchasing a couple "recommended" wines I advise doing your own research before going in.

Came here the past couple Fridays to get my weekend started and closing out a work week. The…read moreambiance here is intimate and the music isn't too loud which is great while sipping some beers. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

One of the best bottle shops in the country!…read more I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!

In fact, this review is taking me forever to write because I'm tearing UP some ceviche that I just got there. Nom, nom, nom. Generous portion, fresh, delicious. And washing it down with a Mad Housewife chardonnay that I picked up from the cooler while Edgar chopped up my fish and bits. The family that owns it works there and are super friendly and dog lovers - bonus! My dog actually pulls toward the door when we walk by. It's now a regular stop for us because she just looks at me with those, "WTF?!" eyes if we just pass it by. Hey White Center! The QFC (Quality Food Centers) on Roosevelt Way Northeast in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle…read morehas been one of my QFC location mainstays throughout my life thus far. I am from the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle (home neighborhood in my American hometown - Northgate, Seattle) and I continue to use this location if I am in the area, though I live in Shoreline now. Sections of the store are well labeled and the workers have been professional in our interactions over the years. My favorite cake is yellow cake, has been for over 20 years, and this QFC location remains my go-to when I am looking for a slice or two of yellow cake. The in-store bakery makes a great cake and perfect frosting, especially the yellow cake and caramel frosting option. Even as of my most recent visit on Sunday 29 October 2023, I was happy to find fresh made yellow cake options. The parking lot can get a little cramped, has a 90 minute limit, and is restricted to QFC customers. There are two entrances/exits, which can be a little difficult to maneuver. However, it was one of my favorite lots when I was first learning/adjusting to driving because it helped teach me patience and to breath in tight fit situations.

I have never, ever in my relatively short life experienced the degree of condescending rudeness,…read moreand dismissive nastiness that I experienced when I shopped at this QFC this afternoon from DAVID - one of their so called "courtesy clerks" - Ha! This David obviously hates his job, hates his customers and based on my many unpleasant encounters with this poor pathetic individual, hates his life. He literally grabbed my debit card out of my hand today when I simply asked him where to tap it. The left side card "tap space" was taped off and I wasn't sure if I should tap it on the screen, slide it "old school" on the right side, or insert it into the card reader. Grabbing my card out of my hand and tapping it on the screen, all the while making me feel incompetent (which I am not) must have seemed to him to be the most effective solution to my dilemma. What a jerk! After my transaction was complete, he shoved the receipt at me and subsequently pushed my cart away from him like it contained something foul, and figuratively did the same to me. I was upset. I still can't figure out what I did to him that warranted such unprofessional and absolutely unprovoked behavior on his part. I believe he needs to seek out another avenue of employment.
