Located on the main road into town. Signage is excellent and they are right off the road. Parking seems plentiful, but potential issues when packed. The lot and walks tidy. The dining room was bright, clean and presented nicely with high quality local wall hangings. A combination of tables, chairs and booths utilizing a light wood finish was attractive. The staff was very helpful and patient during the ordering process. My order, a Brisket Boat side of fries. Dessert banana pudding. A molasses cookie to go. All items are served À la cart. The brisket meat was tender, but lacked a fatty flavor known to the cut. Enjoyed the in-house Memphis style bbq sauce which the brisket needed. The fries were crisp and tasty. Condiments are on the table. Banana pudding was killer! My wife loved the molasses cookie. Stopped at the men's restroom on the right side. I found it in spic and span condition. The facility was stocked with supplies and everything worked. Cool family owned business that's closing in on their one year anniversary. Fountain and bottle drinks only. No alcohol served. Oh, wow! So good! Yum yum yum. Based on the reviews I was expecting good 'Q. But my expectations were surpassed! I like a good pulled pork. I love a good brisket. We had both and both were first-rate. I'm taking back one star because the prices are a little high for ala-carte BBQ; for what they charge I'm accustomed to getting a platter with a protein choice and a side dish or two. I really thought that I liked barbecue but I don't like pot roast and the meat reminded me of pot roast. The fries and pimento cheese with pork rinds were good with the sweet tea. The meal for my son and I was about $40 which I'm not complaining about since it's what I thought I'd spend. Its easier to splurge on two verses my family of four. I was at the right place at the right time to try this bbq! Do you know they cater? Recently tried a delicious plate at a wedding and it was my first experience with them and I cant wait to check out other meal options. On my plate I had baked beans, coleslaw, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and a dinner roll. All the items less the dinner roll were packed with flavor. I'm not sure if the baked beans or broccoli were my favorite. The service was great. Food was served hot and appetizing. Presentation was on point. I can't rate their food since we never got it was but poor customer service. My son was on crutches so he got a seat while I waited in line 10 minutes to order. Then I found out our sausage would be 25 minutes. With a long line behind him I called him over and asked if he wanted to wait, a lady immediately took our table and there were no others available. Delicious BBQ and lovely, kind staff! We showed up for the first time there about a half hour prior to closing one night. The lady that helped us was so sweet. My husband and I both have allergies. This place is uh-mazing! Everything was delicious, and portions are very generous. We tried the pulled pork and the brisket sandwiches, the Mac and cheese and the baked beans, and the hush puppies. My brisket was absolutely amazing. The crust was delicious and it was super juicy. There were two sauces on the table and I tried each just because I'm gonna try the sauces. The chicken tenders were hot, moist and paired well the the mustard sauce. Hush puppies were ok, I couldn't taste the bacon or cheddar. Overall good place to stop if you're craving bbq.
