The shell was crispy and light. Salad was refreshing and flavorful. Not so little chicken sandwich: Chicken was a bit dry so I was a bit disappointed. Tater tots was so good! Crispy and fluffy. Perfect seasonings. Choco smash bar: Reminded me of a snickers bar. It was good. Pretty big seating area. Don't make the same mistake that I did (completely my fault) in regards to their 2 DIFFERENT chicken sandwiches. I mean, I've seen the films, "Ant-Man" and "Captain America: Civil War". I know that the blue disc enlarges items while the red disk shrinks items. Going with this theme: So the tricky part was: the menu board is digital, so it will change on you after awhile (it felt like 30 seconds to a minute). There are 2 DIFFERENT chicken sandwiches: Blue Particle Special - Not so Little Chicken Sandwich = Adult's Portion This is what I meant to order. But during my first visit (back in Mach 2023) - I did NOT realize that said digital menu board changes, so when I went to order the Subatomic Chicken Sandwich (which is from the Red Particle Mini-Meals aka kid's portion), needless to say, I was taken aback when I was served a sandwich that was pretty much a chicken slider. Granted this was my fault, but for the uninitiated, making this mistake does make sense as to how this happened. I realize that they're trying to be "cutting edge / dynamic" with a digital menu board, as well as save space, but just know that especially with elderly, foreign tourists, or quite simply, people who are uninitiated & not paying super close attention, this unintended mishap can happen. That said: FOOD: The Subatomic Chicken Sandwich - 7.0 / 10 It is fine. It's just small & meant for kids. Not a good idea when you've built of a big hunger from walking around both parks. Just a "slider" version of the bigger brother which is the... Not so Little Chicken Sandwich - 8.6 / 10 This is what you want. I love a good crisp on a chicken sandwich & the parts that are sticking out (not touched by the slaw + sauce) are exactly that. The slaw is not too vinegary, yet provides a nice, refreshing, cool, crisp contrast the warn, hearty chicken breast. The teriyaki & red chili sauces are not too sweet nor hot, yet provide the right savory balance that this sandwich demands. PRO TIP: The brioche that the chicken sanwich is fine, but if you really want to step-up your foodie game, order the Quantum Pretzel and use the soft, chewy yet sturdy prtezel as your "bread" for the chicken sandwich. The Subatomic Chicken Sandwich + Quantum Pretzel (as your bread) = 9.0 / 10 Lastly...it's pretty much a tradition every time we go here: Choco-Smash Candy Bar - 9.0 / 10 It's literally like a kitchen sink candy bar: layers of dark chocolate, peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate brownie. (The brownie is my favorite part.) Best shared amongst everyone in your group & party. Every time my group goes here, they usually just have one bite (which is more than enough for them to get that "sweet tooth fix") & I end up taking the rest home to enjoy for the next few meals. The Proton Punch was fruity, refreshing, and so fun with the boba and that little grenadine pipette moment. It's basically a drink and an experience. Then came the Neutron Nachos, colorful chips, hearty Impossible taco meat, melty cheese sauce, and just the right kick from the jalapeños. Super satisfying and perfect for sharing! Apple cold brew was a little bit sweet but I like it. I could taste apple and apple caramel candy was good. Reactor melt was like margarita pizza and potato tots were very delicious garlic seasoning. Disney gives us paper straws. I hate it. The straw gets soggy and it doesn't work as it should after few minutes. Hope they change to plastic or something eatable straws. I love theme park food that actually delivers. Especially a place that my picky kids and food loving adults can enjoy. The spinach and artichoke grilled cheese is one of my new park favorites. It's creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Of course we had to try the vegan option and the neutron nachos didn't disappoint. The kids actually helped us finish them off. The humongous taco was alright. It comes with chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, and chipotle crema. Try slightly crushing the hard taco shell into smaller pieces to scoop out the filling like nachos. I shared this with a few other people. The caramel apple iced coffee sweetness level was overpowering. One of the cast members shared a pro tip to use the caramel apple lollipop to scoop out the apple cream and it tasted better that way. Ok so the soda machine was all messed up. After trying all four available soda machines, I realized they were all in fact spewing out non-carbonated drinks. I repeatedly got a flurry of dark brown syrup splotches in my watery "coke" before I got frustrated and asked for help. Received a refund after talking to like 4 different people. I was not a fan, and neither were my kids, and usually if my kids don't like the food, we don't go back. My son ordered the nachos, and apparently the kid's nachos are vegan, which was a huge no for my child. The yogurt was so tasteless he almost burst into tears; his sister had to share her yogurt with him. My sandwich was okay; it was just mozzarella with tomatoes, not bad but not good either. My wife had the not-so-little chicken sandwich, and the chicken was too crispy; the only saving grace was the spicy sauce added to it. My daughter got the grilled cheese, and that was okay for what it was. It's hard to mess up a grilled cheese, and if you ever come to a restaurant that can't make a grilled cheese, that's a huge red flag. I think we expected a lot from this place and were extremely underwhelmed when we finally tried it. Two Ant-Man spots are right next to each other in this section of California Adventure: Pym Test Kitchen is the actual quick service restaurant. Pym Tasting Lab is more cocktails. The oversized pretzel is very popular but I think a bit of a letdown. I do enjoy the $16 "Not So Little" Chicken sandwich and my goodness, it's so filling. I think two people could easily share this. The ChocoSmash is a candy bar fit for kings and another popular item here. I am obsessed with their current seasonal Red Velvet Cold Brew with Cream Cheese Cold Foam ($7.29). It almost tasted like a hot chocolate coffee drink, so expect creamy and thick goodness. They actually have a bunch of breakfast options in the morning if you need fuel to get your day going. I saw a great review online about this fried chicken sandwich and got sick from the Gardians of the Galaxy ride thus thought perfect time to try the fried chicken sandwich. Total mistake. We went inside and ordered with a person at the kiosk then just waited around a bit. The server never mentioned the process to give our order to the next counter so just stood around for at least 5 minutes. I ordered everything on the side not knowing what sauces they drench the chicken in. It was a good call so I can control my sodium and sugar intake. The sauces are honey mustard and something similar to a Chick-fil-A sauce. I think the chicken was flattened to far that the chicken was soo dry and tough to eat. The tots were good. The pearls on top of the vanilla yogurt just tasted like sugar. The coleslaw has a vinegar based dressing which was ok. More of that still would not make the chicken taste better. Portion size is on the smaller end, so not really worth the price especially if it's an individual serving. Proton punches were refreshing and the popping boba add on was cool. The straws were too small for the boba, so we ended up fishing it out with a fork. There was a looot of ice. When the blueberry balls popped blueberry flavor exploded in your mouth. The red velvet latte tasted just like red velvet cake and the cream cheese foam was so yummy. It was good but too sweet and rich for me. One thing to note is this spot is all outdoor dining. Nice for a sunny day but it happened to be raining while we were there. They do have large umbrellas over the tables but with the cracks between umbrellas, our whole table wasn't covered. read more

4+ very fun place to eat inside the avengers campus. The concert obviously borrows from the theme in Ant Man where things are either tinier or oversized. For example one of the desserts is a giant candy bar (if they still have it). Another thing I've seen was a large chicken parm in sandwich form with a tiny bun. The people are really friendly as expected with anything related to Disney, but the service style is more cafeteria / fast casual style where are you standing in line to order and get your food and find a seat. It's Ashley been a while so I can't remember if you get your food before you sit down or you have a number and they bring it to you. Overall, the food items are fun. But nothing really stands out in terms of me craving it when thinking about going back. But that's not a knock on their food. I definitely would hit this place up when I'm here. read more

Portion of the chicken sandwich was smaller than it looked in pictures, but the pretzel was huge and my friend and I couldn't finish it after eating the sandwich. Been here a few times -- avoid the breakfast options! Lunch/Dinner is where it's at! The humongous taco salad is a great option for healthy/light foods if you don't want to feel heavy all day. It's fresh and filling. The Pepper Particle Pasta is flavorful but really heavy from the cream! They also have a great impossible meat pasta. For breakfast, we got the French toast and it was okay. Overly sweet and soggy. Their breakfast menu is a bit underwhelming. There's plenty of other great breakfast options around the park! read more

The sauce on the pasta was honestly amazing... super flavorful and the highlight of the dish. Unfortunately, the pasta and chicken was cold, which really took away from the experience and left me feeling a bit nauseous afterward. I also tried the artichoke sandwich.
