Even the menu items had had funky names like not so little chicken sandwich and neutron nachos. We ordered the subatomic chicken sandwich and buttered noodles from the kids' menu. Prices were very decent for the combo items they came with. Service was fast. We got the food on the spot. All indoor tables were taken, so we sat in the outdoor section. This restaurant inside of the Avenger's campus is one of the best quick service places in the park. It's a "test kitchen" and the theme is so fun. While you wait in line to order you can watch the shrinking and enlarging of food up above. Once you order, they'll send you to one of the pick up windows and the food comes out pretty quick. You can also mobile order ahead of time. One of the popular items here is the Quantum Pretzel ($14.49). It's a huge Bavarian pretzel that's great for sharing. The pretzel is soft and comes with a beer cheese dipping sauce. It's better than a Mickey pretzel in my opinion. I tried the seasonal Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.99) recently and it didn't have a strong matcha flavor but it was better than expected. I also tried the BBQ Pork Muenster Grilled Cheese ($16.79). The way they made it look like a monster was so cute. The pork was a little fatty but overall a good sandwich. The jalapeño slaw that came on the side was spicy but if you put some inside the sandwich it takes it up a level. The side of tots were also really good. 3.5 stars: Came specifically to try the Halloween special: BBQ Pork Muenster Grilled Cheese. It was a good and filling sandwich, but there is a lot of BBQ sauce, and it really competes with the pork. The jalapeño slaw was a great addition to the sandwich. You can try to stick it in the sandwich for another layer of flavor. Presentation is 10/10! So fun and cute! They serve the food on a tray. There were no seats available and they're all outside. I had to sit at a table at the Avengers campus and find a place to deposit my tray afterwards. The not so little chicken sandwich was a 10/10! Big, crispy and juicy it was fire. My family had to eat my sandwich because it was that good. It came with tater tots which were ok. We had the strawberry matcha alcohol drink and oh my goshhhhh was it good! It was a perfect blend of matcha, sweet strawberry, and rum. Plus they put strawberry wafers on top. Service was great! Came to Disneyland back in the spring for my kids birthday. Got to visit the Marvel campus and it did not disappoint. Had lunch at the Pym Test Kitchen. Enjoyed the Not So Little Chicken sandwich and potato bites. I enjoyed the fact that a heavily themed restaurant made sure the food was high quality. There were Ant-Man themed items all over the place with kept me and my son's attention while we waited in line to order. The amount of work put into the design of the restaurant was truly amazing. This is one of my favorite spots to eat at California Adventure park. It's located at avengers campus. You can order through mobile as app or in person. They're known for their food to come in big sizes. Their large pretzel was huge and it's definitely shareable for 4 people. Their taco salad is super refreshing and stacked with chicken and veggies. The fresh ingredients pair well with the crispy shell. Their nachos were so delicious. It's not your traditional nachos with several tortilla chips but it comes with 4 big pieces and it's packed on top. Their pasta is my favorite. It has a hint of spice to it. This is the perfect spot for a quick breakfast & lunch in DCA. They're located in Avengers Campus. Pym's Test Lab is the bar with fun alcoholic cocktails. Just like any other quick service, it can get extremely busy so mobile ordering ahead will be helpful. They only offer outdoor seating; no indoor seating. Finding an open seat can be a challenge on peak days. Cast members are quick & efficient, and they're on top of assisting with emptying trays. They offer American dishes that are Ant-Man themed, hence its name. The Calculated Breakfast is my favorite dish before starting the day. The Quantum Pretzel is my favorite thing to share. The Not-so-little Chicken Sandwich is my favorite dish bc the chicken is crispy & seasoned well. They offer seasonal dishes that can be a hit or miss. Skip the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese. The overall vibe is science, obviously if your family with Marvel or Antman in general. There's two parts to this place, the Kitchen is family portion and the Lab is my playground. I tried food for the first time on this visit. I got there rendition of French Toast mixed with a cookies and cream cold brew. I have to say, I was impressed. My expectations were low but that French Toast was absolutely delicious. The test lab side is my favorite love, especially hot summer nights and offer just enough variety to keep it interesting. We've had lunch here multiple times and have always liked our meals, and decided to try breakfast here today. It's odd to me how few food spots serve breakfast (or even open before 10:30am) yet the parks are open so early. My husband had the chilequiles and said it the portion was good for the price, but the chips were a little soggy. The latter part was odd because we waited 5-10 for the food after it was preceded, so I thought we were getting a fresh batch. He paired it with a beermosa, which is what it sounds like. It's served in a plastic cup you can keep if you want to (a measuring cup with a spout, basically). I wasn't a fan of the drink - beer and OJ? Gross, lol. I had the egg/bacon/tots meal and liked everything. It came with this weird mini toast, which just tasted like white bread, yet the red circles in it were slightly sweet. My only critique is that the eggs are served on top of a piece of paper, so you'll want to eat those first or I suspect you'll get paper bits in your bites. I visited Pym Test Kitchen during LNY celebration at DCA mainly for their Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese. It was my first time and this science lab theme restaurant really impressed me with their ambiance and decoration, love the Marvel and Ant-Man theme so much. The portion here is enormous, supersized food likes the pretzel or not so little chicken sandwich that is definitely sharable. The line was not so long but I did waited for a good 20 minutes before placing my order with the cast member - who was friendly and efficient but was only by herself at the moment. So, totally recommend place your order ahead of time through the app. Waiting time in line was quite long but my order was ready under 10 minutes, I got Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese with Tator Tots and Proton Potation (Vodka, Lemonade and Grenadine with Cherry-flavored Popping Spheres) for drink. The grilled cheese was pretty good in flavor, it was savory and spicy, loaded with pork belly, but really really oily, I gave up after 2 bites. Meanwhile, the Tator Tots have a really nice crunchy texture to it, very crispy and tasty, I really like it. The Proton Potation was just okay, I personally doesn't feel there is a lot of alcohol in it but the cherry popping boba's taste was artificial. Should have asked for the straw or spoon because I ended up wasting 80% of the popping boba after I finished the drink. Had the Quantum Pretzel, obviously lots of carbs but there was also lots of salts so we were thirsty all day at the park. For the size of the pretzel, the Sharp Cheddar Cheese-Beer Sauce was not enough. Need to fill the cheese to the rim of the cup, it was not even half filled. Tried the Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese since it is for a limited time celebrating Lunar New Year. It was delicious but it was also extra greasy to the touch. Surprisingly, Pym still has tots, those were good. The line was long on a Saturday afternoon. It started at the door and took a little over 30 minutes to arrive at the cashier. Seatings are outside and there are a lot of spaces, but it was full. Took awhile to find a spot. The pasta was equally bland, no flavor payoff at all. On top of that, there's very limited shade, most of those seats are occupied by exhausted guests, not diners which makes an already disappointing meal even less enjoyable. Their grilled cheese/veg sandwich is filling and tasty, their fried chicken sandwich is comically created with a huge piece of chicken on a teeny bun, and I'd definitely return for some mid-day tater tots. The seasonal blueberry matcha with blueberry popping boba was a fun twist on a currently very trendy bevvy. I wish we had a straw because it was hard to get to the popping boba through the ice on top. We didn't get any until the drink was empty. It is very sweet, more like a green tea ice cream milkshake flavor, so definitely more of a fun treat. The kids nachos were unique and fun to "play" with. With a handful of Disney Key Passes, I've now brought the family back here to the Magic Kingdom enough times where we can branch out and try new restaurants at the parks. Pym Test Kitchen has been on my radar ever since it had opened along with the Avenger's Campus. But, bringing lunch with us for our visits, plus our penchants for table service, kept us from trying it out until now. First off, the interior is kitschy, giving your wait in line a bit of light fun. There's an overhead conveyor belt that ferries a rail toward a 'size-altering' machine where regular sized pretzels go in one side and either tiny or giant ones come out the other. From there, you order and move up to the counter where your food is served on trays touting that your fare is a favored recipe of Ant Man himself. The menu is limited, allowing for preparation of ingredients ahead of time for quick assembly and serving; a common technique here at Disneyland and DCA. I had the Not-So-Little Chicken Sandwich. The chicken itself was smaller than as it appears on the menu, but still very tasty and enough to satisfy an appetite fueled by a full day at the park. It was crispy, juicy, and well sauced. The slaw on top was fresh, crunchy, and the vinegar helped cut through the fat of the chicken and glazes. All-in-all, I found it to be a very tasty dinner. My wife and mother both opted for the Humongous Taco Salad, essentially a giant chicken taco served in a fried, flour tortilla shell. Neither of them liked it as much as they hoped they would. I liked the flavor of the chicken and most of the vegetables, but the lettuce was a tad on the wilted side. And while I didn't find the chipotle ranch on top to be spicy, it will likely be too much for anyone not used to heat. My son opted for the Pepper Particle Pasta. He ate it all without complaint. My daughter did the same with most of her Subatomic Chicken Sandwich. Last, we shared a Choco-Smash Candy Bar; a very cute, cake-sized dessert shaped and tasting like a giant Snickers. It was rich, chocolatey, and very good. On the bad-side of things, they have one of those drink machines that squirts 100+ soda flavors out of a single spigot. This causes mixing of random drinks if you're not carful, making some acrid combinations you won't realize you've made until you sit back down. To add to the chaos, the drink station, utensils, napkins, and condiment bar were all inside. This made constant trips from our table for refills and extra ketchup a bit of a hassle. Value - Will you walk away satisfied?: * * * * Every place in Disneyland is relatively over priced; the trick is to find food that will make you not want a snack two hours later, despite what you pay. Typically, paying around $10 per person is what you should expect, but still have a filling meal. You get quite a bit of food when you order. Even with inflation and tariffs rising costs across the board since COVID, I still feel that the price point here is relatively tame. Most people could probably split a standard entree here and be satisfied. And everyone else could spend $15 and not need anything more than a drink. Kid Factor - Is there entertainment for the young ones?: * * * * * You're in the middle of the Avenger's Campus. If your kid has seen any Marvel movie, they're more than likely going to be delighted to see Thor or Black Panther walk by. Spider-Man is around the corner for pictures. And Captain Marvel and Black Widow make regular meet and greets across the way. Pym's Test Kitchen's current menu has some good options for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. I had the Recalculated breakfast as well as the kids Subatomic chicken. Even tho it's a "kids meal" I found it enough to tide me over (won't fill you up if you're hungry). Order windows can get pushed especially in the morning. I ordered around 9am with the first window opening being 9:55 (time to get on another ride). Also treated myself to a Beer Mosa which was pretty solid. I liked the Parmesan crusted bread, but I thought the filling was really heavy and too creamy for my liking. I can see other people liking it, though. As a science instructor, I LOVED the theming of this restaurant. I especially found it amusing to watch the pretzels shrink and grow on the conveyor belt they had on the ceiling. I also loved that their food varied in size and shape to fit the theme of experiments in a science lab! Service was relatively quick when I went on a Friday evening and then again on a Tuesday evening. I highly recommend trying the Proton Punch (non-alcoholic) or the Proton Potation (alcoholic) drinks! The fact that they came with a pipet and plastic beaker, respectively, really spoke to the nerdy science part of my heart. I also liked their Pepper Particle Pasta! If I have the chance to come back, I'd love to try more food. read more

After all the hype for the opening of Avengers Campus, I felt they could have done more with this themed land. Especially with the food. The little Shawarma place outside was a cute idea, but I feel Pym Test Kitchen is just alright. The menu has some appetizers, salads, sandwiches and breakfast on it. They also have beverages and alcohol. Everything has some sort of Marvel theme to it. But I feel the menu is lacking a little bit. The eatery itself is based off the Ant-Man and The Wasp movie where you are supposed to feel like you are in Hank Pym's laboratory encountering his shrink-and-grow Pym Particles. The restaurant is cool inside where you can watch some floating tiny pretzels grow to a bigger size after going through the growing machine. read more

Inside of CA Adventure- might be one of the best food places to eat! Outdoor seating (with shades) only, order then sit down. Quick service. Blueberry matcha - pretty tasty. The blueberry balls are not boba they are "poppers". That would be the best way for me to describe them Pepper particular pasta - a tad spicy (extremely mild) and very tasty! Not so little chicken sandwich - perfectly fried with slider buns Ohhh and the tater tots were my favorite and delicious!!! Perfectly fried and flavored too. Both of the food items were very good!! The matcha latte was descent too. The staff was very nice- the guy taking our order was very patient as I had a few questions regarding the food options. read more
