Great fitting session and very informative !My master fitter Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly. He fitted me into a shaft based not purely on swing speed but what gave me the most consistently good results. He even had me try the 0317 T heads that are not currently the newest product in order to determine what would truly be best for an iron fitting. There was no pressure on his part for me to purchase an iron set only recommendations based on the data from our session. I decided to purchase the 0311T gen 8 irons from 5 through PW. Kevin even determined that a shaft half an inch longer helped me to strike the ball more purely than standard length which is something that i felt intuitively worked for me through years of trial and error but now backed up with data from an iron fitting on track man. Again, the session was so educational and after years of playing this game and having a feeling through trying different shafts and iron heads of what SEEMS to work better it has now been validated through a proper iron fitting based on data.I even ended up with a shaft that I would not have chosen for myself, yet i hit most consistently in a particular weight, flex AND length. Kevin even dialed in the headweight by adding 7 gram weights on both toe and heel. On a final note, I was very surprised to learn that the additional weights put the swing weight at D6, which i would never have envisioned as the SW that would allow me to strike the ball most consistently which again was backed up by data showing the most consistent front to back dispersion as well as right to left. The service was beyond exceptional, very patient staff took all the time necessary to ensure I understood the data produced from my swing. Finally was able to visit a PXG store as I have dealt through only their website for all my purchases. Great spot to spend a few minutes or hours to get your golf fix on a brand that compares to no other. They offer custom fitting, a putting green, and eye candy showroom. Good product, TERRIBLE branch / customer service. Went in for a fitting for irons/wedges. Found a set I really liked, but knew the new models were coming out soon. Told my fitter (Joe) that I'll buy them, but want to wait until the price drops in a few weeks. Joe insisted on closing the deal and assured me a future refund would be "easy - we do it all the time" once the new models drop. I was hesitant, but went ahead and made the purchase...trusting Joe. When I go back to FFX to get the refund, it's denied. Staff is rude. Spent 30 min waiting arond and talking to several people, as I was told NO multiple times. Frustrated, I called corporate to see if they could reconcile things based on the facts...but they had no desire to help either - just quoted some corporate policies as to why they couldn't help. Never once did they acknowledge/accept the lies or the shady sales tactics @ FFX. After commenting on some of PXG's social media ads, they offered me a "complimentary fitting due being unable to offer price changes". "Hey, we lied to you in order to close a deal -- but to make up for it, come on back out and get fitted to buy some more of our products." Another example of PXG being out of touch. Through all of this, PXG has repeatedly failed to acknowledge that my fitter manipulated/lied to me for his own personal benefit to get the immediate sell. I don't dispute that it was out of policy (although I didn't know it at the time) -- but that's what he told me and that's what we agreed to. Otherwise I would've happily waited a few more weeks. Corporate blames/deflects to the store (saying they have the final say), and the store recites corporate policies, acting like their hands are tied. Does the fitter/store have the final say? Or do they have to follow corporate policies? It's one or the other. However, I do know that either group could make things right - but both choose not to. Colby/Delaney -- spare me your shallow/deflective response, which I'm sure will lack any reasonable/fair resolution. read more

Had a great custom fitting at this place. Before arriving, I was a little intimidated as I am a lefty, lady, and a beginner and have never been custom fitted, and still learning the ropes of golf. I called the store reluctant if I should make an appointment and they reassured me I still should come in for the fitting. The online booking appointment was seamless and upon arriving I was greeted and checked in. Had a chance to walk around the store before the appointment, and the store is immaculately kept and had lots of cool apparel to peruse as well as a few putters to try out. The appointment went smoothly and the associate got me all squared away. Chose to ship to store since this was the cheaper and quicker option. Pickup was a breeze and I ended up scoring a lot of great apparel on clearance - had a wonderful associate (Vick) who helped me around the store and checked the back for a couple of items; they went above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience for me. I was away for years and decided to resume the game that I once loved (addicted). But when my 3-i's head came off during a practice session, I knew it's time. PXG - Fairfax fitted a whole set for me. I like how my club feel when heavier weight added to my irons and wedges. So I can feel the club face better. Everything is customizable. The short games used to be my breads and butters. Sketchy vibe there. One day I called at 9am to tell them that my shaft on my new Black Ops driver has snapped for the second time. I told him I had a golf tournament that weekend and asked if they have any replacement shafts in store. He told me yes, so during my lunch break, I drove 40 minutes to the store. When I get there, the kid is frantically looking in all of the display bags, pulling out every driver to look at the shaft. After about 10 minutes, he tells me he does not have the shaft. Then buddy tries to sell me a $350 shaft to replace it. LMAO. Buddy, I got the driver ordered from my friend who worked at PXG at the time for $200 total. You think I'm paying $350??? Moron. Anyways, I tell him no and to order me the same shaft, and that I'll play in my tournament without driver. This is where I get pissed. It's already snapped once before but he tried to charge me $130 for the replacement shaft. I had to remind him about THEIR one-year warranty policy and had to basically beg him to find my order number. Wack asf, idk what kind of commission he gets there but jesus. Got a new PXG Gen 5 0311 XF a few months ago. Because of the colder temps this winter in MD, I was unable to use this club until March. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK. I played 72 holes with it and not one shot felt solid. Thinking it was me, I lent the Gen 5 to other mid handicap friends (9-14 GHIN) and they said the same thing. Junk! It sounded like that very old square driver that people used decades ago. The sound was pathetic as was the height (50' compared to 70-80 with my TM M5). The only thing I liked about it was the XF. Hit a few more fairways than normal. No wonder PXG sold it for $300 and advertised it as a $500 club. Maybe a $50.00 driver. read more

Who cares. But if you consider to buy pxg driver, avoid this place. I took the floor model and try to pay with cash. It took me more than thirty minutes to leave. Even the receipt was delivered by e-mail though I cannot wait more. Interesting thing was they asked me the serial number by e-mail. They simply do not know where the serial number is located. Excellent experience working with Tim at PXG. Was greeted upon walking in and the staff immediately assisted me with any questions I had about the program. Tim conducted my fitting and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the equipment and backed up his statements using the trackman technology. He never once was pushy trying to get me to buy more equipment and allowed me to focus on getting what was right for me. I went in for a putter fitting and the fitter put me on a track man launch monitor and watched me putt! He measured my roll verses skid numbers and found the perfect mallet for me, a Bat Ready attack! The fitter, Joe, had me the try out multiple putter heads, hosel attachments, grips and shafts! I strongly recommend a PXG putter fitting! This fitting was far above my previous putter fittings, static hand to foot measurement, eye over the ball, swing arch, etc. After those fittings, I ended up stuck with the putters the fitter had in stock that he recommended. PXG was different! They custom fit the putter around my trackman data, my "feel" preferences and ordered me a custom built Bat Ready Attack with my preferred hosel, grip and custom putter shaft. You use a putter 40% of the time, why not spend a little more money and buy a PXG putter custom built for you! read more
