I didn't know what to expect or how it works. As you walked in, there a waiting area on the right, a host on your left, fill a small questionnaire using a QR code. Once completed, you will be taken to a room of your selected escape, the host will explain the rules and you watch a short video then taken to your designated room which you have 60 mins to complete. It was a fun and mindful experience in which everyone should try it. Our host was Rocket, she was friendly, humorous, patient and knowledgeable. It is a great place to bring your entire family. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. We were actually about 5 minutes late and rushed there, but instead of making us feel stressed, they kindly told us to take our time and not worry about rushing. That small moment really showed how thoughtful they are. My family had such a great time, the kids were fully entertained and didn't want to leave. You can tell they really care about the experience they provide. No wonder they have a full 5-star rating on Google, which is rare to see. They truly deserve it. We will definitely be back!

Note that the last check in is at 11:00pm on the weekend (at least that's what they said via phone call). They almost didn't let us in but we mentioned that we were the ones on the phone. After we all checked in, we explored each of the room. Some were super difficult, some were "easy". Each room lets you know if it's more physical, mental, or team work/ communication. Because each room is timed, I felt like I was in squid game without the gore and anxiety from pending doom. My wife and I both found it challenging and engaging. The room says it accommodates 2-6 individuals; however, I think it would be a great activity for just 2-3. I felt more than 4 would be a little tight. Review of the staff: I called about a month ahead of time to reserve the escape room for my wife's birthday. Normally, Escape Room Manassas is closed on Tuesdays (the day we went); however, a staff member (I assume the manager) opened just for us. It was such a nice gesture.
