Yeahhh first to review this place!!…read more I have recently research the whole Virginia area for fireworks on forth of July...found out yowell park was having fireworks celebrations for the 4th so came here for some sparkling fun ....the park was nice and big... Lots of sculptures and a mini playground... The problem coming here on 4th of july was the massive croweds... I didn't know its was going to be this crowed... There's no places to even walk... You bound to bump into someone...don't get me started on the lines for the restrooms... horrible... about an hour wait... before the fireworks started I walked to the food stands to check out what they have to offer... Many items to choose from.. I got the vanilla soft serve for three bucks...large... It's was an ok soft serve... Had better... I know that fireworks are good and fun but the amount of people seriously makes my life feel like hell... I did however found the perfect spot to sit and relax my night away and still have an ok Fourth of July... The firework was about half an hour long... It wasn't extremely spectacular ... But at least there was actually fireworks on the forth of July ;)

There is a bathroom area as well and water fountains. We loved the trail and the creek the most. We spotted a snake, a lizard and some rabbits on our walk. There is a workout area, park, and pool area for young kids and a full pool area as well. Upon entry we were immediately turned off as staff are all rude from the front desk to the lifeguards. The woman at the front was so brash. Cost Warrenton locals: $6 kids and $7.50 adults for the pool area, playground is free. They have family lockers and rooms to change in which is really cool. Everything is clean. Pool area isn't ventilated well and needs fans. It's more humid inside than out on a hot day. They also have minimal seats with broken chairs if you're a bystander. There are three lifeguards on duty which makes you feel secure in the size of the play area, some of them however have their feet kicked up and are talking to each other on walkie talkies so not sure how much attention they are paying to the kids. The kids had lots of fun inside and outside. Loved going down the big slide and playing in the water area. It is a good break for the kids and I would recommend it, as long as you know all the rules and regulations ahead of time.

It would be nice if more times were offered for classes but at least there's one Saturday morning class. Late afternoon and evening classes would be useful for those that work. Staff is friendly. Water aerobics classes are ok. Sometimes it feels like the instructor is rushing. As soon as you start a set they move onto a different exercise. It's quicker to do a movement on land than it is in the water. Because of that, I notice many people just do their own thing. And the instructors are hard to hear especially if you're completely to one side. Not everyone can be in the middle. You get out of it what you put in but the whole purpose of going to a class is for the instruction. I can go to a pool and do my own thing, I'm paying for the instruction. Having the toddler swim lessons in the big pool while having the adult water class is not the best idea. I understand the other pool was closed for whatever reason but cancel whatever you had over there or move the times. You've got parents and toddlers there for swim class, parents and toddlers there to just play (hanging out on the steps bc their toddler is afraid, waters too deep, etc an employee did ask one parent to move bc it's not ideal to hang out on the steps) and you've got about 15 older adults there for water aerobics....really? Adjust the times.

Dinosaur Land is a fabulous tourist attraction that could be in a Chevy Chase movie. Life size…read moredinosaur sculptures and a few other creatures fill the forest of this Shenandoah Valley wonder. Joseph Geraci started Dinosaur Land back in 1967. Thirty five of the original dinosaurs were created by James Sidwell, who was famous for his dinosaur replicas at the Field Museum in Chicago. Newer dinosaurs and creatures were crafted by Mark Cline, a local artist. I spoke with Geraci's granddaughter, who works in the gift shop. She explained that her grandfather passed away 40 years ago and her mother now owns the park. Four generations of Geraci's have worked at the park. Admission is $7 for kids under eleven and $9 for all others. Visitors can take photos up close with the dinosaurs and other creatures including a giant octopus. The self-guided tour takes 30-60 minutes. The park is open from March through December. The gift shop is filled with tee shirts, toy dinos, postcards, books, glassware and other souvenirs. Dinosaur Land is a fun place to take the kids or your favorite dinosaur enthusiast. The sculptures are amazing works of art.

This consistent pattern strongly points to the play equipment itself not being properly sanitized. While the setup seems fun, the lack of visible cleaning/sanitization protocols for the toys, slides, climbing structures, etc., is a major health concern. It's unacceptable that visiting at opening didn't prevent illness, suggesting deep cleaning isn't happening overnight. We won't be returning due to this recurring health risk. Management urgently needs to implement and enforce rigorous, frequent sanitization of ALL play surfaces.
