What an experience! Staff was really good and I loved how they got into character when explaining our room to us. We need it some hints, and they weren't very helpful. Also in one of our puzzles one of the ropes didn't fall down (3 we're supposed to be there and we only had two) they didn't let us know that there was an error with that puzzle so that took up a lot of time with us not being able to escape. Other than that I definitely recommend bringing the whole family and a few friends it was lovely on the inside.

We did Molly's room and it was a fright fun time! Our game master Miguel is a hidden gem. He was helpful, passionate and genuinely wanted us to have the best time. We had a great time and will be returning in the near future.

We hosted my daughter's birthday party at the Arlington Bond's Escape Room last weekend and had a fabulous experience! My daughter and her friends (ages 8-9) did the "art attack" room that ended in splatter art. The person who helped them in the escape room (and even helped us clean up post party) was extremely kind, helpful, and fun for the kids. Birthday parties here are easy and no stress - highly recommend! In planning for the party, I also spoke with two very friendly and helpful employees who took the time to answer all of my questions. Great customer service - I can't recommend highly enough!

Bonds is open during quarantine- and such a great way to get out and do something fun safely! They have you wear masks during your time there, separate and clean rooms, and you're really pretty isolated! There is hand sanitizer as well. We did the enchanted castle, great for all ages but yeah maybe I get scared too easy because boxes suddenly opening freaks me out. Can be done with two people, and the clues & game were really interesting!! We were pretty new to escape rooms but they were so helpful when needed, and maybe even gave us a little extra time when we struggled Staff was really kind and made the experience great, will be recommending to all my friends! Thank you!

Friendly, clean, nice decor, creative sets. Clean bathrooms. The drawback is the speakers in our room (castle) was murmuring. You could barely hear a thing (with background music and a very annoying, can't be turned off chorus in the background). They clearly know this problem. Half way through, they slipped (quietly) the script of what the voice was saying! So beware if you choose this room. Other than this design flaw everything else worked.

I went to the Arlington location last week with my team from work. We didn't have much prior knowledge coming into the game but the guy (I think his name is Zach) that was our guide explained it all. We were definitely terrified, and even though it was his job to maintain his spooky act, he was still very respectful when I asked questions / had concern about the ouija board (we did Sleepover Slaughterhouse, hardest level). Amazingly, we finished the game after having to pick our brains for an hour. We even got a little extra time. If you're looking for a brain-puzzling and stimulating activity, I highly recommend the Bond's Room! It's fun and you don't find many experiences like it.

A little on the expensive side and the room and tricks seem to be a little worn. But the escape room was fun and the staff friendly.

As a four-person group, we decided to take on Poe's Chambers. The theming of this room is immaculate! Just the door to the room evokes the early 19 hundreds. Poe's Chambers really makes you feel like you're in the creative poet's home. I loved the overall feel! My fiancé and I were able to get the group through some of the puzzles, just due to our vast experience with rooms. I believe even our first-timer friends were able to see how we were making the connections and able to get their brains going too! I felt like we all really handled the room well and that it was friendly to them. There is one puzzle in particular I think E.R.A. needs to update. If it doesn't sit just so, it's easy to miss the clue. Though, everything else in the room worked flawlessly. Our game master was very attentive when we asked for two clues, though it took us a bit to decode her hints. We got out with 7 minutes to spare. I can see why this room would be an 8/10 difficulty. It's a fairly linear room, which I prefer when it comes to games. I've done rooms that feel scattered and those frustrate me to no end, lol. I do think a group of beginners might struggle, just a bit, in this room. Truly though, great room! I hope we'll get to go back again! 8/10 recommend

I had notified them when booking that we were celebrating my birthday, and they put up a happy birthday background on the screen. Eli even took pictures of us pre-show in the game room. I was extremely touched by Eli and Britney's kindness and their above-and-beyond gestures! Britney presented me with a handwritten birthday card after the game show, and Eli gifted me with a t-shirt I was going to buy after the show. I hope they both know how special they made me feel; it truly warms my heart to have experienced their thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness! I am FOREVER GRATEFUL and APPRECIATE ALL THAT THEY'VE DONE!! Now for the details: The game is an hour long, and if someone else books the same time slot, you may end up playing with random strangers, which we did. We definitely got our butts handed to us, but I still had fun! It consists of about 5-7 different randomized games. It's blue vs. red team, and the setup is in the style of a traditional TV game show, ranging from Jeopardy-style format to Wheel of Fortune, trivia, Family Feud, and Idiotest, etc. You really do feel like you're on a TV game show with a live host, buzzers, a big wheel to spin, and confetti exploding at the end! They do have some physical games; however, we had to forego those to be fair to the other team, which had a teammate on crutches. Britney was a lot of fun--super patient and considerate! I got a kick out of having to fill out the scantron with a big a#$ pencil. Make sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to your time slot. They have plenty of free games to play while you wait, and they have a bar to purchase beverages or you can ask for tap water. The Escape Game is also located in the building, and they have merchandise for sale, as well as merch for the Great Big Game Show. They have really cool shirts and hats available! At the end of the show, they offer 15 or 20% off your next booking. I'm not sure if there's an expiration date, but I hope not because I would love to come back. However, we live in VA Beach, so it's quite a drive. They do have restrooms. Parking is available in various parking garages among Georgetown. We paid to park in the lot next to RIMTANG which is really close.

The moderator explains the house rules and reminds us that if we are stuck, we can ask for a hint up to three times. The King Ransom escape room is ranked 8/10 in difficulty. Every great escape room must have a backstory to set the mood: You and your loyal band of Knights have been entrusted with a difficult mission: to uncover a concealed trove of gold and rescue the King from a deadly fate. His chambers are teeming with enigmas that shield his most prized possessions. Our quest is to locate the gold, escape the room, and deliver the ransom before the King's captors carry out his execution. (We considered dressing up as knights to get into character! ) Our Experience: We had a fantastic time! The room was beautifully decorated! The puzzles became increasingly challenging, requiring curiosity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and sharp eyes to conquer them all. In the end, we narrowly escaped, saving the King just in time!

I've done escape rooms where it had a lot more puzzles (some irrelevant to actually solving the escape room). But I felt the mafia room would be great for a family or group of friends, both casual and competitive. Most of us were competitive hence the time and using no hints. Would love to try the other rooms. Despite it being on the corner of Wisconsin Ave, a busy street, there was plenty of street parking and very accessible.
