Went on a Saturday night and made a reservation for 7:30pm for the first 9 holes and it suggested we do a second 9 at 8:00pm. The first 9 holes was so crowded there was 3 groups waiting at each hole and it took an hour for 9 holes of putt putt. Once we were done with the front 9, we asked if we could get a refund for the 2nd 9 holes and they refused stating it's "just a Saturday" . Sure there is a little hype here but when I come to place to hang out, I'm just looking for a place that works, great service and solid vibe. Puttshack hits all of those marks. We had a great time at puttshack today. We didn't book ahead of time, just walked in and were able to play immediately. We did the 9hole course and had a lot of fun. The golf balls use smart technology to know which player is on the course and how many strokes you take, so no need to keep score but also no cheating. After the game we got burgers, I got a Caesar salad for a side which was surprisingly good but my husband got the garlic fries and they were even better. It's a cool, laid back atmosphere. I love Puttshack! I first experienced it in London and was so excited to see they brought it to Dallas. It's such a fun spot for a date night, family outing, or hanging out with friends. The staff is super friendly and always ready to assist. If you want to avoid waiting around, I suggest booking in advance. While they do accept walk-in bookings, it's better to reserve ahead, especially on busy days. I love the technology and how it just tracks everything for you! After 8pm it's adults only time. They have some great bars with a nice choice of alcohol. I tried their version of the porn star martini, which was pretty good, though different from the original. I went for a friends birthday. It's defiantly an interesting spin to putting. The different lanes are so close and there were so many large groups. It made it a bit distracting to get around. I would definitely go back and opt out of putting though. The drinks are good and they have a good Dj. We arrived at 10:50, asked the hostess if we could wait for our friend in order to play a game, we bought our tickets but he needed to buy his and told her he'd be here by 11:10 she said no worries. At 11:15, he shows up because yalls parking is a nightmare he tried to order a game, and yall tell us he can't buy a game.. even though the system and online say you can buy a game at 11:30 and the hostess never said we couldn't buy one. Poor hostess didn't know what to do, so she runs and grabs (who i thought was the manager) she wasn't. She was a server. Who handled us like a manager should. She was excellent. We explain what's happening, now we're upset because we can't play even though we already have our tickets. So she writes our info down to give to the manager for a refund. Well, I can tell you this manager here is absolutely terrible. Completely garbage. (Female) Your job is to resolve conflict, and you didn't. In fact, we saw you hide while your hostess and another waitress (which both looked to be 18) handled the situation and even told us you'd come talk to us. But instead, you looked at us and walked away! If you can't do a simple job and come explain to us why, even though half of us paid, you wouldn't let us play. We have no proof you'll actually give us a refund either, just your hostesses word. The bottom line is. All we wanted was a refund and to resolve this issue so we could have a good night somewhere else, but instead, the manager (female) ignored us, and nothing was resolved. read more

However, they had a children's birthday party with around 20 kids and let the kids run free around the room, going to whichever course they wanted to. This is against their rule of "que jumping." The people working did nothing about this, despite all other people outside of this party being visibly annoyed and asking workers to do something. Go for the games and nothing else. We all know I'm a sucker for food and fun! So, when I booked a reservation for a couples date, I thought that was what we'd get. Wrong. Puttshack is putt-putt on steroids! Offering a variety of miniature golf with fun twists like Connect 4 and air hockey, just to name a few. It's a really cool environment and definitely worth a play or two! There were 6 of us in our party, so I made a reservation for a Sunday at 3 pm in one of their "suite" areas. We arrived at 2:40 and were greeted by the host. We were instructed to head over to the kiosk for check-in, and we would find our suite somewhere in the back? Not a great first impression, but ok. We found our "suite," which was, in essence, an open booth, with not enough room for 6 people to sit and eat. The "suites" offer the opportunity to play a variety of interactive games while being able to dine at the same time(which is not available on the main game floor). The games were fun, and we enjoyed the variety. Unfortunately, this is the only thing we enjoyed. Our server(who didn't introduce herself or acknowledged us when we asked) took our food and drink order at 3:00 when our game time began. We did not receive our food 4:15. Anytime we needed anything, we had to hunt her down. When we would ask about our food order, she said she would go check and not come back! Mind you, the establishment wasn't busy, and we were her only table. When we finally received our food, it was a split of bad and ok. I ordered the poutine, which would have been good, if it was hot. Hubby had the fried chicken cobb salad. It was beautifully presented, but dry(which is saying something for a salad). One couple ordered a margarita flatbread that had no flavor and the Thai fried chicken that was so overcooked and dried out, (it looked like turds on the plate) and an order of fries that came 10 minutes later. Needless to say, we had to send it back. The other couple had the goat cheese veggie flatbread, which was the only thing that came to the table hot. When we received our check(no wait time), we had to ask to have the Thai fried chicken that we sent back taken off the bill! Plus, the server had the audacity to be irritated, and when I asked for a to-go box, she said she'd be right back and NEVER came back. My husband had to go get one HIMSELF! Although these turned out to be adjacent reserved booths rather than separate rooms, they offered a cozy 'home base' for our group, complete with a fun, gamified putting game. The service was top-notch; our waitresses were attentive, frequently checking in and swiftly delivering our food and drinks as we enjoyed our games. I got an app as I wasn't too hungry. I'm sure the Texas Tailpipes (spring rolls) were tasty but I only got mouthfuls of oil. After our booked time ended, we decided to play a round of their unique, tech-infused golf. For our first station, it was a simple putt course, but by the end, we had played several different games such as connect four, and trivia questions.
