Putters was cool! It definitely seems like a hangout spot that attracts a lot of people. They have mini golf, arcade games, a bar, pool tables and music playing. The mini golf area did get crowded as more people came and were wanting to play that. We didn't get food but they had the basic drinks that were good, not bad prices. The bartender was nice. The mini golf area was a little dirty with drinks that had been leftover. We were nervous coming because reviews said fights happen a lot. First time visitor...It was cool. Alot of vintage video games, and set up along the wall. There is a put put course that you can play for $7 per person. It wasn't overly crowded and we enjoyed it. I didn't catch our bartenders name, but she was super friendly and made some great drink selection suggestions. We had a good time. They do need to adjust the timer in the bathroom. While I was doing my lady business, the lights went off and it was a little u comfy in there. As soon as I came out of the stall, the lights miraculously came back on. I found this place on Yelp when looking for an alternative putt putt place since the one we were going to shut down. Putters has a great indoor area to play arcade games, play pool, and play indoor putt putt golf. We played a couple rounds and had a good time. Each hole has a theme with different challenges. The cost was $7 per person for unlimited rounds the day we went. I saw a few folks bring their beverages in from the bar area to sip on while playing. read more

Cool little sports bar in Waco. I'm sure it's usually packed with college kids but so far this night pretty quit. There's a put pit golf course, lots of TVs and some old school arcade games. If nothing else it's a good place to start the night bar hopping. Staff is friendly and the drinks are strong. read more

The holes are true mini golf style and not that of the putt-putt variety. After you finish a round of 18, head over to their arcade area where they have dozens of classic arcade games. This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The bartenders and staff at this place are always very accommodating and the drink prices are great. Always a good atmosphere with local college kids and younger adults. The Putting is fun, the game selection is good, and you can't forget about their Jenna setup. I come here a few nights a week with my group and this is one of the better bars in the area. read more

The drinks were delicious and the bar service is great and fast! However I do think they charge a lot for the drinks. The small glasses they serve is finished in two gulps and is $5.50. Also, while being there my fiancé and I were threatened by a staff member. My fiancé and I were kissing and the man approached us and told us if we kissed he would kick us out. I don't want to be in a place where I can't kiss my fiancé. There was a table of 15 non masked not socially distanced kids playing Jenga next to us but we got yelled at. Kinda ridiculous. read more

This place is a mess. They are operating against the laws and are open even though they make majority of their money from alcohol. (States on door they are a 51% establishment). They have a sharpie written "dress code" that states no athletic wear when their business is literally called "putters" because of the Putt Putt they allow you to play along side arcade games. However, we had a group of 6 people in the previous night and 2 of the guys were wearing basketball shorts. But because the owner was all the sudden there tonight, 2 of us were not allowed in because we were wearing "athletic clothes" and told that it's a professional dress code... in an arcade/mini golf place ? My husband was told "you can come back in your swim trunks because they are more professional than basketball shorts "? Management and bouncers were terribly rude and stated they were not worried about the laws or the police and that our opinions are not relevant to them. I do not recommend this place. Not because they are not following the laws but because they were so rude about people from OUT OF TOWN that didn't bring any other clothes wanted to play putt putt in their establishment. They lost 8 peoples business not and they had not a care in the world. read more

Minus one star for the minigolf kind of sucking and being overpriced. The rest of the place is fantastic though. Nice bar, the arcade's in good condition (mostly), and lots of consoles and other assorted games to play. Would recommend for anyone stopping in Waco needing something to do. read more

Recently went to putters and the vibe is pretty chill and a cool atmosphere. The drinks are reasonably priced along with great service coming from the bartenders. The TV's everywhere make it easy to keep up with sports along with multiple arcade games. They just recently added pool tables in the front entrance. The only reason for a not so good review is that I recently went and got racially profiled by the bouncer at the front door and got accused of smelling like weed, when In fact me nor my friends smoke anything. So once we were accused of that it killed the whole mood. He questioned my friends and I about it and said that okay and then proceeded to walk behind us and spray some spray. Other than that it's a bar I enjoy going to but most likely will never be returning to, but I would recommend. read more
