She had the audacity to say that I came in with thin eyebrows and I showed her a selfie I took this morning and she had the nerve to ask me "oh those are your eyebrows?" When I initially tried this, I decided to go on a waitlist. They called me to inquire what services I wanted and offered services on different days. One service I wanted was a haircut, to which I was offered an appointment the following evening. Great! I was scheduled with Kaitlyn and she did an amazing job. She had asked each time she cut if the length was okay, which I appreciated. I made appointments when checking out for a gel manicure and dermaplaning facial. I wanted a massage also but the therapist was going on leave I believe. I arrived for my facial and manicure appointment and was given this clipboard that contained about ten pages of forms for me to fill out for the facial. I usually don't mind that but it was never reviewed. My facial was first and it was probably the quickest I ever had. It was not very relaxing and all it involved was dermaplaning, some steam, and maybe a moisturizer. Next was my manicure. One of the worst manicures. It was like it was her fist time. It was very sloppy and polish was missing on 1/3 of each nail. After that, I again researched where I can find services in Ocala for these needs. I wanted to try again because I wanted a haircut and Kaitlyn was great. I also wanted highlights or color but was unable to do both in the same day. I told Kaitlyn I wanted a little longer than shoulder length. It was cut about 4 inches shorter than that. So yeah, you cannot fix chopped off hair so I was screwed. I still made the attempt to come the following day for highlights. They were totally uneven. I still made the dumb mistake to make another appointment for a dermaplaning facial and massage. I mentioned how previously nothing was done in the facial and when the receptionist looked it up, it was scheduled as only dermaplaning. I reiterated I wanted a facial with the dermaplaning, which she put in this time and assured me the service would be better. So the earliest appointment was a month away. I kid you not, the day of, I receive a voicemail stating Dawn was sick and unable to come in so they cancelled my appointment. Oh but they offered a 10% discount and to call to reschedule. I am not sure why Ocala has so many flaky spa employees (this was 2nd business I experienced these issues). The saving grace was all the staff was polite, it was clean and sterile, and beverages and snacks were offered.
