How pleasantly surprised I was to come across this spot. What a nice experience, the staff is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and super friendly. I went in there for some eyebrow threading ( yes vanity counts in my world) and they came out perfect. I wound up adding another service and decided to get my ears waxed. (Getting old sucks. It was my first time trying this spa. I was very disappointed. The technician was on the phone the whole time she was working on my eyelashes. While she was doing it, my eyes were burning the whole time and she wasn't paying attention after completion. I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows had big brown spots left on them. She proceeded to walk away, not give me any instructions how to care for it. I had the worst facial I've ever had. The owner did my facial; firstly I should be told that the owner was working on me. She was slapping on product onto my face and was not gentle. Then she had the product on my eyelids and on my lips; when I said it bothered me she told me to relax. When me and Mom walked in the vibe was unfriendly because the owner never smiled and had a bad attitude the whole time. Having visited the U2NewU spa I was expecting excellence. I have had my eyebrows threaded for many year in Maryland and was anticipating the same result when I visited U2NewU. The spa had a very nice appearance and they were very prompt. However, Sanja did my eyebrows and did not shape them very well. Two days later I was using a tweezer and a scissor to control them. It seemed to me that they were all about " an experience" and not providing an excellent service. Needless to say, I will not return for additional services even though I have read reviews indicating that the services were very good. read more

Don't have eyelash extensions. I don't know what they do wrong, but I've had eyelash extensions 2 times before. Normally it takes 2 hours. This girl was done in an hour and a half. I noticed she didn't fill in all the way to the outside corner of my eye, but it was getting late, and I had a fill in two weeks, so I let it go. I know not to get my eyelashes wet or do anything in the first 24 hours. The next day, they were falling out. I lost about 20 lashes in the first day and another 10-15 the next day. Every day I was losing 10 to 15 lashes a day. When I called on Monday, they didn't say, oh I'm so sorry that's happening how can we help fix it. They blamed me and said I must have done something, got them wet used the wrong cleaner, etc. long story short, I went in to talk to the owner, and she for some reason thought it had been 3 weeks, and started to say after 3 weeks you need a fill. I said it's been 5 days and I'm losing 10-15 lashes a day. She then said she'd give me a salon credit, and I was willing to give them a chance. Not lashes but a facial, or massage. Bu then she said she'd give me a 50%. Credit. Now if she had said, she would have given me a 100% credit, I would have given them another chance. After that, I said, no, I'm not accepting that. I want my money back. She did refund my money for the extensions. Maybe some of their services are good, but If you have an issue, they'll try to blame you instead of taking responsibility. So sad. I'm still looking to get my eyelashes done. I only have 17 days until my event. I hope I can find someone. . read more

For the last 10 sessions Jeannine McEnerney has been giving me organic facials and dough rolling, and Myolift treatments as part of the 13 session treatment plan and Smooth Touch Skin treatment as suggested and prescribed by the spa owner, Ani Miryala. Every single session with Jeannine has been outstanding. Her care, concern, attention to detail, empathy for comfort and satisfaction are unique and remarkable. Her work ethic is beyond reproach. She is always cognizant of the expensive price we, the client, pays for these services; consequently, she takes the time and energy to give you a spa treatment that goes beyond what is typically expected. She can always be counted on to be there for your appointment, and if, in a very rare situation, she is unable to meet at the designated time, she will call you directly and make arrangements to meet at the client's convenience. With the ongoing concern I have had with Ani MIryala's Smooth Touch Skin treatment performed on me (see previous Yelp review) and her succeeding steps to address my criticisms of the slow-healing outcome, she has assigned Jeannine to provided additions facials and LED light treatments. Once again, not only has Jeannine, with each of these extra sessions, devoted remarkable extensive care and patience to providing what is to help in my healing process, but has gone so far as to research information on her own more about what could be causing the slow healing process of the dark pigmentation occurring after the Smooth Touch procedure that doesn't seem to want to fade (within the time frame Ani had told me during our initial consult) in order to provide the service that will help facilitate the fading process. The massage was great for a 60 minutes relaxation massage. However, I was scheduled and paid for something much different. I was supposed to get the therapeutic special healing massage for 105 minutes. I received a 55 minute massage which was not therapeutic at all. I left with the same amount of pain I went in with and did not feel any further relief the next day. I responded to their text followup with many details of my experience and have heard nothing. I even let the owner know about my experience and never heard a thing back. I can't justify spending so much money for a service which didn't provide any pain relief at all. I have a massage every week to 10 days due to the chronic pain I experience. I experience relief after each massage for 5-6 days. This massage was less time and almost triple the cost. read more

I went for eyebrow and upper lip threading as well as a facial and eyelash tinting. The facial was nice and if I only went for that, I would not be writing a bad review. Moving on to the eyebrow threading and upper lip; the eyebrow threading was just okay but the upper lip was pretty bad, my lip bled for at least 15 minutes; not dripping but I had to keep a tissue on it. The eyelash tinting was the worse. The technician got dye in my eyes and they started burning horribly. The owner came in and told the tech to use an eye wash and then walked out. I was there for almost an hour because I could not see, my vision was too blurry and my eyes were painful, even after the eye wash which was not pleasant. Upon leaving to pay my bill which was over $200, the front desk clerk asked me if I wanted to leave a tip. I walked out of there with my upper lip sore and raw and my eyes burning. No follow-up or even an apology. I will never go back there again. If I could give zero stars, I would. And I did not leave a tip! read more

Just went. It is located right beside Compass self storage. She was really nice and squeezed me in. First time doing this, and I now know not to wear make up.
