I submitted a request for a quote last night at 10 pm and I had a response in less than 15 minutes. I described the nature of our leak and he gave me a ballpark amount. They came out today for a free estimate, on time I should add, estimate was as expected and reasonable and the work was done in 30 minutes. Will definitely use this company again in the future if the need arises! Update 12/2019: Our water heater was over 15 years old and I'm pretty sure I heard funky noises coming from it over the past year. We were also starting to run out of hot water towards the end of showering. When it started to leak from the outlet valve (I doubt that's the right term, sorry) at the bottom of the tank, I knew the end was near. I called Purua plumbing again and got a call back within 20 minutes. And it was Sunday night too! After a quick check on the tank (and may I repeat, on Sunday night!) Robert helped us decide on a replacement and by the next day the job was done! I Wasn't planning on such a large expense during the Christmas season, but it was reasonably priced. We're very happy with Purua plumbing and definitely recommend them! read more

Robert was insightful, helpful, and punctual. They have done several jobs for us, most recently installing a drain in our side yard. During the heavy rains last week the drain performed perfectly, keeping all the water from pooling and away from the foundation! We are thrilled. If you want the job done right, call Purua Plumbing! read more

As a follow up, Bobby came out the next day to install the garbage disposal and faucet. It didn't take him longer than a couple of hours. His prices were really reasonable and he was very thorough with the process. Bobby was very professional, quiet and quick. It's the trifecta when hiring someone to do and work on your house. I highly recommend Bobby! What makes me want to keep his number on hand is knowing he's open at all times to answer jobs. It doesn't matter what time but he's also very flexible. When he finished the job, he was willing to dispose of all materials (but we opted to throw it away since our garbage was being picked up the next day). He dried down everything and put all items back where they belonged. I mean, even the darn kitchen rug. The kicker for me is that I have a dog -- and as a dog owner, I'm always worried how one will react. Bobby was super friendly and dog conscious. Whenever he had to go back to his truck, he made sure to open the front door slowly, being mindful that my doggy was on the other side of the door. It's the small details that make customers happy. PS - For the first time, a plumber who doesn't have plumber crack. (Another plus/star) read more

Had to change my review- We paid a 3K deposit for a "broken pipe" to be repaired and then he gave us the run around for a month, with the insurance etc. He wouldn't answer phone calls- or return texts. It wasn't until I had the credit card company do a charge back of the money that he was returning my calls to get it scheduled. Meanwhile had 2 other companies come out and camera..... NO BROKEN PIPE after all. The reason its 2 stars is because prior to this- he was good, responsive and professional. read more

We recently needed an old gas pipe capped off and reached out to Purua plumbing. Not only were they quick to respond but by far the best price. Showed up within a day so we could continue to install cabinets on our timeline and were in and out in 15 mins. Reliable, good service, quick and professional. Highly recommend. read more

Robert was fantastic. I put a blast out for plumbers and explained our situation. He replied extremely quickly and not only that, he wanted to speak on the phone to get a better feel for the situation. When he thoroughly understood he was able to quote his services. We agreed upon a price that beat all others. They arrived on time, inspected the situation, purchased all products necessary and a few hours later finished the job to perfection. They were prompt, polite, clean, and considerate of our home. They completed the job perfectly and efficiently. I highly recommend you give them a message, email, or call...they will get it done well and fast! read more

I contacted Purua Plumbing on a Sunday and received a response almost immediately. On a Sunday evening. My request was time sensitive, and the fact that Bobby responded so quickly on a weekend is so important, considering that plumbing work is often an emergency. Bobby and his team were great! He responded to my inquiry quickly and they were able to come the very next day. Our sink and pipes needed more work than we expected but they were able to squeeze us in within the next 2 days. They were also very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and other things that were going on in our home. Usually when you need a plumber, you need one right away. A lot of other places will cost you an arm and a leg if you want them to come out right away, but these guys were worth the wait! Thank you Purua Plumbing! read more

Bobby was great! He was super responsive when I messaged him on Yelp - one of the only plumbers who gave me a quote right away without wanting to get more information or chat on the phone. His quote was the cheapest amongst the 5 or 6 plumbers in the long beach area I contacted and once I asked him if he could come over the fix the toilet, he came later that day. If I ever need a plumber again, I will definitely call Bobby again! Highly recommend. :) read more

We've had Bobby and the crew out a few times and our experience has been excellent every time. Bobby came in person to provide a quote. He clearly communicated his plan to address our drainage issues. His team arrived on time and always left the job site clean and neat. Multiple neighbors commented on the neat appearance even when there was a giant hole in the yard to access the drain line. After work was complete, the crew put the sod in the front yard back together very carefully. They took great care to preserve as much of the grass as possible. This job included interface with a code inspector. Freddy and Leo were highly professional and took care of these issues. This experience made me glad that I found Purua Plumbing. I will look for the opportunity to do business with them again. read more

I've had recurring problems with a bathroom in the guest house for quite some time now. We circulated through plumbing services on a monthly basis and finally stumbled upon Bobby and his services. He is fantastic, very knowledgeable with what he does and an overall great guy. I highly recommend this service 100%. read more

This 2 star rating is because I was an hour late to the appointment which I called two hours in advance to let the technician know that I was stuck in traffic. Otherwise one star for lack of communication/ no show. My great experience was similar to other reviewers. I sent a Yelp Message to multiple plumbers and they responded quickly with a competitive quote. They showed up in the time frame as expected, and to my delight, upon researching the issue they were honest to say my plumbing issue could be resolved simpler than originally assumed, and they fixed the issue and charged much less than their original quote via Yelp because it was a simpler job than they expected. I will use their services in the future if I have plumbing needs. read more

After finding water coming out from under my kitchen sink I sat down to look for a plumber. When I saw all the positive reviews I sent them a message along with 3 others. Bobby was very quick to respond and had his good friend Nadel come by to take a look. He was busy working on another place but was able to swing by around 7:30pm and found the problem. He gave me a decent quote and they both worked with me as I'm a flight attendant and busy. Nadel came today and replaced the pipes and gave me a 60 day warranty. Also since I'm away and home late tonight he started my dishwasher so I can empty it tonight when I get home. Also very kind to my pet, a cat. I will use them again, I hope not too soon. read more

Reviews are true! I had great experience too! Bobby picked up right away didn't give me run arounds about price and location as it goes in L.A! ..He won me with that - I literally had few calls before Purua that I wanted to know what it costs to get slow/clogged drain running and they wouldn't tell me before I either give them my name and number or my street address!!So Bobby seemed busy but came late anyways did the job quick, price as talked about, ALL easy! read more

I messaged Purua Plumbing late at night through yelp due to a clogged bathtub, and Robert (goes by Bobby on yelp) responded quickly. He offered a quote up front and gave a 30-day warranty. He came within the hour and fixed the clogging in about 20 minutes (while it took my family a long time to attempt "fixing" it, yet failed at doing so). From my experience, Robert is friendly and is good at what he does--I highly recommend him. Bobby was efficient and cleared my clog in my toilet and tub. Couldn't have asked for better service! Thank you!

We'd looked at 12 plumbing companies before we ultimately chose Porua Plumbing to install a liner for our building's main sewage pipe, as well as install a new cleanout. Bobby was professional, quick to respond to our many questions, and very easy to work with. And of the many bids we'd received, Bobby's was the only one that directly provided a long term solution to our root-infiltration problem at a VERY reasonable price, along with a 50-year warranty. I was especially concerned with whether the project would go smoothly because I was out of town at the time of its execution, but Bobby coordinated with our property management team and kept me updated throughout the process, and everything went superbly without any problems. He is trustworthy and delivers exemplary service; Porua Plumbing will be our go-to plumbing contractors from now on! read more

So I got a quote from Purua Plumbing on Yelp and they responded within less than five minutes! I spoke to Bobby and I described my plumbing problem to him. He told me what the issue was and told me that he could be at my house within two hours after we spoke. This was on a Sunday evening! He and his buddy showed up earlier than promised. He was 100% accurate on what was causing my plumbing issue. He used his equipment to clear my sewer line clog and finished everything under 30 minutes. I was impressed! His price was very reasonable! He's a cool dude and gentleman that explained everything. Thank you Bobby. read more
