If you are reading this review and looking into dog training, I highly recommend you call Thrive…read moreDog Training because you will be nothing but impressed and happy with the decision to have them train your dog(s)! Thrive Dog Training changed our lives and the life of our Pit Bull, Bossy, in a way I never thought was possible. She was a sweet and loving dog with my husband and I but she had many issues - barking at everyone and at every little noise; pulling when she was on a leash; jumping on guests and annoying them until they gave her attention or until they left our house; begging for food while we were eating and taking food right off our plates or hands when we weren't paying attention; peeing when she got nervous or excited regardless of where that pee went; totally freaking out whenever she saw another dog and wanting to attack the dog(s). We were not only annoyed and embarrassed with her behavior but we were also scared to death of her attacking someone or attacking someone's pet and us being sued and/or having to put her to sleep. We ended up purchasing a lifetime membership and it was worth every dollar and then some. Nathan and all of his staff at Thrive took the best care of Bossy and turned her into the perfect dog! Every bad trait and behavior of hers was gone. She was still the sweetest and most loving dog, but we were no longer afraid of taking her out in public or of her being around other people and other dogs; no longer embarrassed by her when guests came over; we no longer had to be annoyed or angry with her because now when she got excited, she kept her excitement contained and stayed obedient which eliminated her accidents all over the house. Best decision we ever made! Unfortunately Bossy passed away recently but when we do decide to get another puppy or adult dog, they will be trained by Nathan and his staff also!

My dog Marley was way out of control prior to meeting Nathan and his wonderful staff at Thrive!…read more Worth every penny!!! Our lives and Marleys life is much more fulfilling and fun now! We get to take Marley everywhere and everyone is so impressed by his behavior! I recommend Thrive to everyone! Thanks Thrive!

doesn't get any better than Bouse for doggie daycare, grooming, bathing, and boarding. I bring my…read moreDoodle and Great Dane three days a week to play and this is the only place we take them when we are headed out of town. One thing that is great about Bouse is that they have a lot of outdoor play areas so the dogs get to be outside enjoying the day. Once a week, I take advantage of the package they offer where a bath and a day of daycare are rolled into one very affordable price. They come home worn out and so clean! My Dane had some issues with fence aggression and male-to-male-aggression that I think would have resulted in most facilities asking us to leave. Not so at Bouse....the staff worked with him over time, made sure he was grouped with the right dogs and figured out what worked best. I am happy to say, with their patience, he has worked his way back to general population and has such a great time. I am *so* appreciative for their hard work with him. My Doodle is shy with anyone outside of "her people" but when we get to Bouse, she is absolutely BESIDE herself with excitement and she personally greets and hugs every staff member (she's a little over the opt about it). They have become "her people" for sure. I can't say enough about the staff - they are so friendly and really make us feel like our dogs are somewhere they are loved when they are not with us. They work hard to understand the dynamics between the dogs and make sure all staff is in the know. I was there for pickup once when staff members were taking a quiz on the regular dogs, their personality traits, and who they can/cannot be grouped with during playtime. It makes me smile to see pictures of them having fun on both Facebook and the walls at the facility. We have a lot of peace of mind, at work and during travel, that our very precious four-legged family members are in great hands at Bouse Fur House.

My dog was picked up a few days ago after a week with them. When I arrived home, he had an ankle…read morewound he was licking - and we were never notified of this happening. We are currently on our way to the emergency vet, as this has become worse and more infected the last few days. They failed to notify us of any wounds or change in behavior, and if there was some sort of altercation with another dog and a puncture wound - they failed to tell us all together. It's so unfortunate that it has come to having to take further steps and get him to the vet for this. When we just spoke on the phone, we were told the manager was not around. She asked us "No one told you?" but didn't elaborate on this. Hopefully the vet can fix this quickly, but this is such a hazard and so dangerous to trust someone to your pet who doesn't even notice the tiniest changes in behavior. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take the risk of a place not really knowing what you're getting, or who is actually doing what they're paid to. Horrifying.
