Miguel. Miguel did everything perfectly. I was treated with respect and kindness. He found an engine for my "troublemaker car" with lower mileage. This car now drives and sounds like a completely different ( and fabulous) car!!!! This mechanic checked everything meticulously and replaced what needed to be repaired. I'm am so happy with the way my car runs, I tell you I could just cry. I feel like I definitely got my moneys worth, above and beyond service. Fast turn around too! It's been such a good experience with Miguel at Purrfect Auto on Sampson Ave. Thank you Miguel! I'll be back for regular maintenance. read more

This is literally the only place I go. Everyone is so helpful especially Alex. I'm always able to get service the day of, and drive my car

I was refered to this place about 2 years ago by Oriellys Auto Parts. I went in with my van. I had a check engine light on. Honda told me it was a $900 repair. Alex was like no. It is on 1 cheap sensor that needs to be replaced and would get it done for $200. I thought wow these guys are great. The other sensor went out earlier this year.l, and same thing took care of it. Now as of this summer, Alex as turned into a bit of a POS. I took my sons car for an oil change did it for $55 which is great but something he told me would be an hours cause he was busy took 3 hours. He did not have the same friend tone either. Has a bit of a cocky attitude. I let it go think he is busy whatever. Then he tells me I need valve cover gaskets replaced ASAP or the car would light on fire. Qouted me $400. I thought that was a bit high. I took the care to American Tire Depot. They did it for $300. Now this week I took my van in for a oil change. Made me wait 3 hrs again and then doesn't show me the problems while the car was on the lift, but comes to me after and tells me my tires are worn, need alignment, front axle is leaking, serpentine belt is cracking and some down arm was leaking. Came me a quote about about $2400 not including tires. Also same cocky attitude. So I took the car back to ATD, and they checked it for me for free and said tires are wearing uneven and I do need alignment and tires but I can hold off til end of year. Everything else that Alex said was a lie. Did not need any of those extra services. Don't know why Alex went from being a go to guy to total Scum Thief. Be careful of this place. Looks like Alex is all about wanting to take care of pretty women only!!!!!! read more

Super nice and quick to offer service and made sure that our cars were taken care of. It's nice to go someplace and not feel oversold

Had a flat tire and honestly thought my day was completely ruined, but Alex V. completely changed that. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and somehow made a stressful situation feel easy and manageable. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. What could've been the worst day ever turned into a surprisingly positive experience because of his attitude and professionalism. If you're ever dealing with car trouble, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Alex and this auto service spot! read more

I walked into Purrfect early one morning because my brakes were grinding. I walked into the front office and could see the gentleman, Alex, talking with another man. I could also hear them, Alex was talking about what girlfriend he was sleeping with currently and showing pictures. I had to walk outside to get his attention. once inside he played me up, said he won't charge me for inspection of my brakes, cool. he calls me and tells me I need new brakes and rotors all the way around. it's gonna be $700. I don't have that, so he offers a loan program. it's 100% interest. so a $700 job is now doubled. when I walked back to get my car, only the hood was popped. it doesn't even look like he took a tire off to check the brakes. he told me I was metal on metal on the front and 20% on the back. well, I had a personal mechanic look into this for me, and it turns out my back brake was dragging because of my emergency brake usage. nothing else. it cost me a whopping $40. alex made me cancel my plans, work, etc. bevause he had me thinking I was unsafe to drive. the absolute pinnacle of male mechanics in this world. scum. read more

My car was in bad shape shifting gears, I didn't give many details to Miguel due to the fact this was like my last hope lol but Miguel diagnosed the problem and was communicative with any issues and price. We went ahead with the repairs he suggested and also let me know about other parts that showed wear, they called to update me with my car pretty much everyday they had it and my car runs great now, definitely will be returning to get more maintenance done here! Alex comes to the rescue again! I'm so beyond grateful to have found Alex several years ago - the service, expertise and integrity he has brought to me and I'm sure all his clients is such a refreshing and rare blessing. My last oil change I took my car to a neighbor for the first time not for convenience but to somehow contribute in helping the family out since they've been having a challenging time. Although I feel it's always the right thing to help when we can, yesterday I learned there's times when we need to keep certain services to be done only by our proven and trusted resources. Yesterday after it being just a few days of having my oil changed with neighbor my low oil level light went on as I was getting on the freeway - first time I've ever seen that light and pretty strange I thought. Thankfully I was close to Alex's shop so I called him to explain the situation- he quickly welcomed me to bring my car over - after lifting the car he found the canister hadn't been tightened properly from the recent oil change with neighbor and there was quite a bit of oil dripping from when I drove up and all over the bottom of the engine reaching back to the muffler and the oil level barely registered on the dip stick! He quickly cleaned off the oil and topped the oil off - all in a moments notice and very unexpectedly for free! I was actually on my way to evening mass when the low oil light went on and from what COULD HAVE been a much worse situation with the amount of flammable oil all over to barely having any oil in the engine - although I didn't make it to mass I found Gods amazing graces poured out during this visit through Alex just simply being who he is. THANK YOU JESUS & THANK YOU ALEX!!! I HIGHLY recommend him for all that are searching for an AMAZING mechanic that is honest and always goes above and beyond for his clients!! read more

Alex got me in and out very fast. He showed me what was wrong with my 2018 Dodge Challenger, what It needed to be fixed, he offered me the best price and even better service. Many times when you have an expensive vehicle a lot of about shops will screw you over with up charges on services. These people are fair, honest, and expedient with service. read more

Came in and was immediately helped by Alex V. , they replaced our part and had us back on the road in 30 minutes, absolutely awesome.

My car's splash guard began to detach on the 91 and was scraping the freeway, so I exited first chance I could and randomly chose to park in front of Purrfect to ask for help. Knowing my whole family was in the car with me and that I was a bit frazzled, they had me pull my car around to the back immediately to check out the issue and quickly removed the splash guard, which was too damaged to re-install. The entire detour took 20 minutes and we were back on the freeway. The whole time, they were super friendly and worked quickly. Thanks so much for your help! read more

Had a blow out on the 91 freeway. Made it off the freeway to the shop. I was in a hurry for work so I couldn't wait for my tire to be replaced. Alex offered to put my spare on for me. I tried to pay but he wouldn't let me. I will definitely come back. read more

Alex is always a great help! These guys do honest work and i couldn't recommend them more.

These guys kicked butt! 90 degree heat, 30 year old Jeep, holiday traffic, A/C broke, promise to friends we would do some Jeeping around Big Bear, rig completely loaded with food, gear, etc. Front brake locked up a mile from a freeway exit that meant nothing to me. No! Limped along, got off freeway, and my wife points down the parking lot and says "look in the mirror." 15 minutes later the guys at Purrfect had the rig up, confirmed what I knew AND more importantly convinced me I would be on the road again by noon the next day. After helping us try to get a rental car, and keeping the shop open enough for some friends to come get us, we left for the mountains with all trust in the Purrfect guys. Headed down the mountain the next day and 10 minutes before noon, 10 miles from the shop...you guessed it, phone rings. Jeep ready! You guys rock! You saved our weekend! read more

Alex is a blessing! I had to get my car towed over to him, after my car was stranded at my job for two days. I read all of the Yelp reviews, as I don't know any mechanics in the area and was looking around. The reviews speak for themselves! I brought my car in, and he was friendly, personable, and so optimistic! It's nice to feel like you can trust someone simply by a quick drop off. Alex looked at everything and gave me a rundown of everything that was wrong with my car, and let me tell you... it was A LOT. My car was not able to be driven at all, and I had neglected the care and maintenance for my vehicle. The grand total should have been well over 2 grand. My fiancé was even trying to get me to sell it and get a new car, because he didn't think it was worth it. The quote that Alex gave was generous to say the least. He fixed my car in a day, and even tacked my side mirror back on as a gift. Not only am I only am I going to continue to go to Purrfect Auto, but I'm recommending everyone I know to go to him, too. Thank you Purrfect Auto dream team!! read more
