I told him that was fine and that I just needed him to get started I did not care if it ran into more money than originally quoted. They Are More Worried About Insurance Than Your House or Damage…read more My hot water heater rusted out, and flooded my house. My insurance company recommended calling Servpro right away. I called ServePro to come out. The owner came, and said it would take them 5 days to start the cleanup. The day before they were supposed to start, the owner called me, gave me some lines about calling my insurance company 3 times (USAA) and couldn't get through. USAA picks up right away, and is extremely easy to work with. I called my representative, and she said they had only called once, and didn't leave a message. It was obvious that I was not a priority to ServePro. My representative told me another water remediation company would call in 30 minutes. They called in 20 minutes, and were at my house the next morning to start work on the water remediation. These guys don't really care how much damage will be caused if you wait a while to get water remediation. Speed is not their forte. Using another company, I had dehumidifiers running throughout the house within 18 hours. But, I lost 5 days waiting for this company to begin work, and they STILL weren't ready to do the work. I would stay away.
