Any house restoration work is never easy, but it was a breeze with Gemini. We got hit with a leak on the roof in one of kids bedrooms and Floor issues in our family and living rooms after strong winds and rain hit our Area. We called our home insurance and they sent Gemini to do assessment and remediation and they got there 2 days after we placed a call to our home Insurance. It was the winter of 2018 and after a 2 week absence from my home (which was on the market), I was horrified to find that a pipe had burst on the top floor of the house. I literally witnessed a waterfall running through my house...a waterfall that had been running for many days, most likely. One side of the house and the basement was completely destroyed. Overwhelming doesn't begin to explain what I was feeling. Water everywhere, mind boggling damage. Ugh. My insurer called Gemini and dispatched them to my house immediately. I'm sure I was in a state of shock when Guy Abrahamson arrived. But he outlined how they would remediate the water damage and then they got to work. Ultimately, they rebuilt the entire house beautifully (a custom house in Chester) and were incredible partners along the way. Still in awe of where they started on that first day versus where they ended (a beautifully rebuilt house that sold shortly thereafter). We had a main water break in front of our brownstone. 2 feet of water, mud and backed up sewage, dead water heater, pretty much hell down in our cellar. for about a week. mold, bacteria, it was a mess down there. Gemini was called in by the city, lead by Paul Edwards, they did an amazing clean up on my property in just 2 days. They cleaned up the air, removed all of the water, mud and debris from the site in an efficient, expedient and professional manner. I used them years ago after our house was in a fire. They were awful, roof wasn't attached initially so a big gust came and our root was jumping up and down. The didn'tfinish painting, we have light switches that go nowhere and the windows were not framed properly. I think they were involved with our insurance adjuster from Prudential who steered us to them. I feel they prey on people who are just through a tragedy and take advantage. Since the quarantine my family and I have been enjoying curbside take out meals from our favorite local restaurants on Friday nights. Although we usually eat in our kitchen, to try and make it more restaurant like we use our dining room on those nights. As I was setting our table I looked up and was horrified to see my ceiling was bubbled and looked like it was separating and close to opening. Since the area was directly below our master shower we realized that a pipe had to be leaking. My husband notified the insurance company of our situation and in less then 24 hours Gemini came to our rescue! They opened the ceiling and identified the problem quickly and immediately began drying with fans And treating the area to prevent further damage. They alerted the plumber who was soon at our door to repair the broken pipe. Once area was properly treated it was sheet rocked and painted. My ceiling literally looks like nothing ever happened.
