Like a hermit crab shedding…read morehis too small shell and emerging to live in a more comfortable shell, I boldly went for my first pedi in 2 years. [Bold describes the nice lady who actually tackled these unruly talons!] MIL got her normal French tipped pedi and I got my normal "normal" OPI pedi. We wore our masks, except when I was sipping my one "light fruity" white wine, which was such a nice touch! And MIL sipped her small bottled water. MIL's tech, Lisa was very smiley and sweet and kind to dear MIL and really took her time in doing MIL's toes up right! Lisa even commented that "these take about 30 minutes to dry, so take your time!" MIL explained LNS and maybe the entire mall was destroyed a few years ago in a horrible tornado that struck the region (I forget which year it was). Now, they do not have an area where you sit and dry your mani/pedis with lights and/or fans - you know, and flip through magazines. That's okay with me we were able to relax and chit chat sitting in our massage chairs! LNS is spacious, mostly all staff were wearing masks and gloves and our pedi bowls had single use liners they actually used. The ladies were kind and I felt like an absolute spoiled princess with my nice fresh pedicure! MIL insisted on "treating" me and paying so I can't comment on their pricing. She is a regular here, so maybe I will ask her. I used the ladies' room and it was sparkling clean, with an auto air freshener, pull towel dispenser and nice and warm water, plenty of soap and a can of lysol! If I weren't so busy you know, using the facilities I would have taken a photo! Only suggestion would be for the techs to either a. ask the customer to use the timer on their cell phone when told of the 30 minute suggested dry time, or b. set a timer that could sit near the customer so the customer would have confidence that they are sufficiently dry and all set to go. Fortunately for us, we weren't in a hurry and lost track of time and ended up just fine (see pictures) - thank you LNS, I'll see ya next year! Thanks for making fun MIL/DIL memories for us! :D

They do charge a non-refundable deposit for first-time appointments (which will be used as a credit towards your service!), but it really shouldn't keep you from coming in. I know I'll be coming back! PROS: -I came in looking for a regular polish change, but after talking with the receptionist, they let me know the pros and cons of gel polish - and I decided to try gel instead. I was still entirely new to gel, but the nail technician didn't make me feel dumb, and they were pretty friendly about explaining the colors and care. -Both my fingernails and toenails looked *gorgeous* after I was done. No "coloring outside the lines". Very nicely rounded edges. Absolutely no complaints about the quality of the polish that was done here. -A ridiculous amount of color options - for regular polish, gel polish, and powder polish. You could come here for years and still never manage to try all of them. It's got to be up in the 200 or 300 range. They have regular colors, bright colors, neutrals, beautiful gem shades, shades with sparkles, and more. -The staff definitely takes their time with your nails. I was worried that my appointment would run longer than their closing time, and low and behold, it did. The staff didn't rush to finish the nails, and even though we were late leaving, they were nothing but friendly and polite. It was really nice to experience. -In addition to having my nails and toes done, a male-presenting partner of mine had them done as well. The staff was nothing but nice and friendly to him - despite a male in a nail salon being a (likely) rare occurance. CONS: -Prices are a bit above-average, but they're nothing crazy. I've seen a lot higher prices in the local area. -In order to reduce no-show appointments, the salon requires a non-refundable deposit to book your appointment slot for first-time customers. While the $10 per person isn't crazy (and it'll be used as a credit towards your bill when you show up), it's something to be aware of before you book. -There's a sign in the back near the children's pedicure area that says "No Boys Allowed". It's clearly a cute store-bought sign that you'd throw in a girl's bedroom, but I'll admit I was a bit sad to see it. Little boys (and adult men too!) should be free to come in and get pedicures and manicures if they'd like, and continuing a harmful societal stereotype makes me sad. I'll probably talk to management about this next time I come in.

The only issue I have ever had year is that when I need a new set, they will try to pry the old set off instead of soaking them. This has been painful on several occurrences, but if you ask them to soak them they will do it.

In addition to that she also did wonderful with my color selection and quality of work. Perfect for fall and ready now! She included an amazing hand and arm massage as well, I feel so ready for the day now and relaxed. My stress is lowered and the customer service was superb!!!
