Maybe I just don't like Indonesian food. I'm just not 100% sure. That's why I'm giving it three stars when Puri deserves a two. First, there was only one waiter working, who a nice old man, which meant he took care of seven tables at once and was generally too busy. We waited ten minutes before we ordered. We ordered the beef and lamb special, which was 28.50 pp. The food took forever. The soup was interesting, mixed with chicken and a little bit of burnt rice and onions in a tasty broth. The special was composed of six dishes. A mixture of lamb, beef, shrimp and vegetables, they varied in sauce and some were on a skewer. The sauces were momentarily striking initially but quickly ended up being dull and too salty. I got tired of all the dishes and had to struggle to finish with the rice. Overall, it was not worth my money. Maybe it's better with a single dish cost wise, but why would you want an entire meal with a dish composed of pieces of meat and a rather vulgar sauce? read more
