He seems to think he has a position of power and is arrogant and rude to the guests. It is a shame that whoever owns the restaurant probably doesn't realise that he is putting paying customers off visiting the restaurant. We will think twice about going again. Perhaps he needs some training on how to treat customers as he basically has no hospitality skills whatsoever.

The food is probably the most authentic Indian food I've had in the Netherlands so far. It's rich, flavorful and (when appropriate) VERY spicy. The portions are reasonable, but you may need to bring a bit home with you (which isn't really a bad thing). The variety on the menu is great and everything I've tried has been excellent. The restaurant itself is very tiny, but beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's probably the most cozy restaurant I've ever been in. Unless you're going on a random Tuesday night, I suggest calling ahead for a reservation.
