Basset hound

GF is a big fan of this place so wanted to bring me while we were visiting her hometown. Have you ever been hungry but like, not hungry? That was how I was feeling on that particular day so I wanted to compromise on something but nothing too crazy. I considered their salads (there's a beet one with curry vinaigrette which sounds amazing) but I was more in the mood for a sandwich. They kindly group the vegetarian sandwiches together which minimizes the required eye movements. There were two that intrigued me but I wanted to maximize the veg intake during this meal so I went with the cocker spaniel (avocado, cucumber, tomato, spinach, veggie cream cheese). It was served on rye bread. The thing was stuffed with veggies as you can probably imagine from the above description. The size of the sandwich was some goldilocks shit. It was literally perfect. It wasn't too much but definitely was enough for my needs. GF ordered the basset hound (roasted portobello mushrooms, swiss, arugula, roasted, garlic, mayo) and seemed to enjoy it. I do not see any vegan sandwiches which is a bummer. Good sandwich, good experience, no complaints here.

Mushrooms, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella cheese, and pesto panini. Delicious!!

Delicious panini sandwiches, staff is great and helped me to customize my sandwich. I modified the "Basset Hound" panini sandwich, and crafted a hearty veggie sandwich with roasted mushrooms, red peppers, arugula, mozzarella cheese, and pesto stuffed between grilled multigrain bread. The panini sandwich was satisfying and filling. As a bonus, you get a free side of potato salad, cole slaw, fresh fruit and chips. Glad I got the kettle chips! The staff was really patient. After driving 1.5 hours from PA to VA on our way home, I stopped to grab some food here. I was beyond exhausted traveling with my kids and had a hard time comprehending a long list of menu items. The staff patiently waited while I figured out what I wanted and allowed me to modify some of the ingredients from another sandwich so I could craft my own (which typically isn't an option). Will definitely visit the same or another location when I'm in the area! Great sandwich and service!

I took myself to PureBread for a Veteran's Day treat. It was just like I imagined, a nice place to eat/drink quality stuff while you work on your laptop or chat politely with someone. I went there for a breakfast sandwich to go. The nice high energy young man behind the counter talked me into a toasted and butter Banana Walnut muffin. I am glad he did. My bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was very tasty but more expensive than i like. The muffin was fantabulous!! Gotta splurge somewhere!!

Newfoundland sandwich

Local deli with options for breakfast and lunch. I opted for the new Newfoundland which had Turkey, pepper Jack on a grilled cheddar bread. The sandwiches are all named after different dog breads. All of the full size sandwiches are served with kettle potato chips. There was plenty of room to sit and eat at this location. Definitely a place to check out.

This little place is adorable!!! The name says it all! There are doggie pictures everywhere and cute pup videos to watch while you wait for your food! I got a corn muffin with the option to add butter and grill it (yes to both)! The chicken noddle soup was hearty and tender! Such a great place to grab a bit to eat! There was lots of swag available and free rescue magnets available!

My to go breakfast spot in Newark. Love the environment especially all the cute puppies on the monitors. The sandwich are amazinggggg, highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Sandwich on a Asiago Bagel. The Muffins are so fresh, you can smell the aroma righty as you walk in which makes you that much happier and hungrier. The staff is amazing and they're personalities and service is beyond the best. Love this place. Recommendations- muffins, lobster bisque, take some time to watch the cute videos of puppies on the monitors

I have had the opportunity to come here for lunch a few times and can honestly say I like the low key vibe. You can sit yourself at a booth in back and watch tv or sit at a high top table up front next to the big floor to ceiling windows. You can get all the standard coffee shop/deli options. The sandwich variety is very good. The dog connection is lost on me though. I really liked the bread on my sandwich however I wish there was a seedless rye option. (Perhaps there is and I simply over looked it) And any sandwich can be made into a panini which they do very well. All said, I believe Purebread definitely gives Panera a solid run for their money. So, I took it upon myself to check out the menu. The worker at the counter welcomed me and allowed me some time to check out what they offer. She was very kind and pleasant when I informed her that it was my first time visiting. Even though there were a lot of people when I got there around lunchtime, there was somehow still plenty of seating. I opted to order a slice of their Dubai cake and an Iced Caramel Latte. The cake was divine. Every slice that I had was heavenly. My entire party of four was also served in a timely manner. I highly recommend Cafeneo, and I expect to be a returning customer. A great place to study because of their calm and steady ambiance. Plenty of windows and natural lighting. As I mentioned earlier, lots of seating, too. Very pleased.

At one point, Tony, the owner came over to ask how we enjoyed everything. What a sweetie! Apparently they are now doing dinner as well. We live near Philly and we're on a road trip south but I swear we would go out of our way to come back here to try dinner!

I ordered it as a Turkey bowl salad with a gluten free scone and cofe au lait. Instead they made me a sandwich. They forgot the scone. When I finally got the salad it was great. The blueberry scone was okay. It was more cake like than biscuity and pretty light on the blueberries. The coffee was nice and hot. Because there's no waitress service I had to repeatedly get up from my seat to check on my order before and after they bungled it. If I'd wanted I could have stood there to wait but there's no place to SIT and wait and to see if your order is ready. In conclusion: the turkey bowl was good but it's just deli meat. The rest of the salad was what was really good. I I think people come here for the ambiance because $14.50 for a salad made with deli meat was not special. My friend ordered a cinnamon bun which she said was "okay." She prefers the grilled sticky buns at Hank's.

Lounge around, enjoy the weather and would come back again
