I wish I could write a better review as I always liked the food here well enough, but it's kind of a pain placing a large, family order over the phone. I'm driving from Bear to get there, so placing the order in person really isn't an option. For 7 adults, the order would have been over $100. Certainly not a small order. Checking out the new (to me) website, I saw orders can now be placed online. SCORE! Or so I thought. Mind you, this is not delivery, it's a pick up order; but the total charge didn't add up...so... I looked closer... They charge a "convenience fee", the same fee I would expect for delivery. To be clear, I'm saving your employees from answering the phone, writing down the order, and hoping they got it right. Right? You should be giving me a discount, if anything. Not penalizing me... Sorry. There's a great cheesesteak right across the street from you and they were happy to get my order. I still had to call it in but they're so darn friendly over there, I didn't mind. I lived right down the road from this establishment for many many years. I never had a bad meal or bad service from any of the staff. Breakfast sandwiches ( always on a large sub roll for me ), hot sausages, subs and steaks were always on point. I live in Las Vegas now but try to stop in whenever I am back visiting. Finally tried Oceanmart's Hunt Brothers Pizza & Wings. Surprised by the thin crust pizza...it was square and delicious! Also, you can have all toppings for no extra charge. The wings were on the small side, but priced right, oven baked so on the healthier side. Going to try the Original crust on my next visit. read more

Random place! But absolutely amazing I was supper hungry visiting my parents in the area and this place popped up at first I was hesitant but decided to give it a chance. New owner is horrible, food tastes nothing like it did before. Owner and workers on the phone texting or doing whatever. Outside dirty with trash and weeds. Terrible. I'm 26 trying to buy cigarettes and the cashier is inspecting my ID like I'm trying to get into a club underage. Just look for the DOB and hologram and be done. Why are you inspecting my ID? Never again. And the cigarettes were old too, I ended up just trashing them. read more

I've lived in the area for a couple of years, and pass by this place regularly, and thought I'd give it a try. Ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches on bagels. First, they came with hash brown patties as an extra, which I wasn't expecting. That would have been nice, had they not been soggy with grease. Clearly, the oil wasn't hot enough for frying. They were inedible. Then comes the sandwich. I ordered Bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The bacon was soggy, the cheese was weird, and seemed to be sandwiched between two eggs. The eggs were OK. The bagel was a typical store bought bagel, nothing great. I was 1/4 through eating the sandwich, when I discovered a big chunk of some petrified meat that was not identifiable, but it might have been a big old chunk of scrapple that sat on the grill for a few weeks before making its way into my sandwich. Needless to say, I completely lost my appetite, and almost lost it all at that point. What little I had eaten left a pit in my stomach for the rest of the day. Clearly, not going back!! read more

I work about 5 minutes away from OceanMart and love ordering from there for lunch. They have such a huge variety of options that even the most picky person could find something that they will like. My favorite lunch order is the Hamburger with an order of fries. The burger and fries are so large that in the past when my son has come with me to work for the day, we order one burger and one order or fries and split them. Half the burger and fries MORE then fills me up and my 9 year old son, who is like a bottomless pit, can barely finish his half. The icing on the cake is the fact that with the size of the burger and fries, I have seen restaurants charge upwards of $15.00. At Oceanmart, this meal will cost you LESS THEN $8!!!!!!!! Use the money you save to buy a homemade dessert out of the cooler at the register! I recommend the Old Fashioned Bread Pudding or the Dirt Pudding!!! read more

I have lived in the area since 1998 and have never had bad food or experience at Ocean Mart. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is awesome and one of the areas best kept secret. I think theses who say they are rude may be getting back what they are giving, unfortunately. Even the lady in the Post Office in there is awesome. Zero complaints from me! read more
