The I brought up weekly pay. Told my manager that bi-weekly pay is looked at as employers controlling our money because we aren't good with it. They did NOT like this. Less than an hour after suggesting weekly pay, I was fired. I hope my mop job on the floor leaves a taste in their mouths for years to come. I spent a good 10 hours on that lower bay mopping and cleaning up years of garbage. Avoid working here.

I had been going to this location for oil changes for at least a couple decades if not longer, but…read morehadn't had an oil change in quite a while due to lack of travel during the pandemic and then purchasing an electric vehicle. When I called to make an appointment to bring in our camper van for an oil change, a voice I hadn't heard before answered the phone, and I was surprised to hear someone besides the manager, Ken's voice since I'm fairly sure he was the only one to ever answer when I called in the last 15 or so years. The person I spoke with said that they can't service my vehicle because their large vehicle lift is broken so they can't service trucks and vans currently. He said he couldn't give an estimate for when they would be repairing that bay, and recommended a different Midas location for me to reach out to. And a case of what a small world it is in Kalamazoo, I wound up running into Ken at Sam's Club later that same day and he let me know that they had fired him after 15 years of service. Midas corporate made a huge mistake letting go this incredible manager, and I will be taking my business to the place where he is now employed. I have never had anything but incredible experiences with the customer service Ken and his team provided, and he really set the tone of professionalism for the business that was mirrored by everyone on his team. They were always prompt, professional, welcoming, and informative without being pushy. He had my complete trust, which is often hard for a woman to find in a mechanic. The three star review is an amalgamation of the many many five-star experiences I have had at this business and the absolute absence of stars I feel for the corporate office who let go such a stellar employee.

I was in a slight panic when I called Jiffy Lube on Tuesday morning. My car wouldn't start and took…read morequite awhile to charge off of my husband's truck, which has a powerful battery . When I called to see if they would have the battery my SUV required, the friendly voice on the phone said yes, come on in. As I arrived a few minutes later, I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 or 4 young men opening the overhead door and waving me in. Before I could even get out of the car, they were scanning the VIN and opening the hood. I was directed to the waiting area and offered coffee and water. As I was ready to settle in, one of the guys came in and said the battery in my car checked out in great condition and I am good to go. For whatever flukey reason it hadn't started earlier, I had assurance to proceed on my roadtrip, as everything looked good. There was absolutely no charge and 100% excellent customer service. I'll definitely come back to this location next time I need anything else done on my vehicle. Thank you Eric, Jay and Ron- hopefully I got your names right. You turned a rough start to my day into a happy ending by jumping right in to solve my dilemma. Great service!!

Recently they saw me struggling at the station across from them, trying to fill my own tire, one gentleman came over to me to ask if I'd rather them fill for free. I explained I would need to purchase one wiper blade & they offered me 2 for the price of one! Great value!
