My truck ( BLACK ) has been scratched on the clear coat. Not enough soap as a lubing agent. My belief. Also, the paddles that touch are too stiff. If anyone with a dark color check your paint in neon light. Or bright sun. Took my truck to 2 body shops and the scratches were confirmed as car wash damage. The manager said that's a normal happing with car washes. Price is high damage high! No attempt to refund my cost to repair or wash moneys. They do have a great indoor drying area. read more

Car wash is great but took my Ram in before 7000 mile vacation and asked about their transmission service. Trying to be proactive on the 60000 service. They assured me they had the fluid for my truck. Worried about it a day into my trip I called to see if zf8 fluid was used. They couldn't answer but after 30 minutes they said it was zf8. Felt better but after two weeks I called to check on their service for Ram 8 transmission. Said they use a cam2 fluid. They lied to me about what was used. Transmission has been working fine but they told me they put one fluid in and obviously didn't. Guys working on it were nice enough but why lie if your's list zf8 compatible. I'll leave it and have a full 3 drain and fill at 60000. read more

Drive & Shine was fairly effortless. When I got to the screen where you choose what type of car wash that you would like, an employee was there who basically did everything for me. I just said that I would like basic, and he selected everything, including having to go through the annoying upcharges that usually come with the software. The actual car wash was nice. You just put your car into neutral on conveyor belts, wait about 5 minutes, and then drive off. Nothing much else to really say about that one. read more

1. I purchased the top monthly plan, and I realized that their car wash was stripping my paint off on my car. I brought it to their attention and they gave me lame excuses about it was because the type of paint I had on my car...yeah, right. I told them that I had just purchased my vehicle from the car lot so it wasn't there before, so I got nothing done but excuses. 2. I went for an oil change, and I also got a flush and fill. Now, being that my car was/is new I've been back there at least 4 times because my engine light keeps coming on... not only that when I checked my fuilds my antifreeze reservoir was almost empty, my oil wasn't completely filled, I had to go back for that. I've been a member at the gull rd location since they opened. I like the fact that I can get my truck washed (even though it's never dried my back window), get a oil change and clean the interior of my truck back to back at the same place. It's also near my home. What I Don't like is how rude/unprofessional the manager Trent is. his customer service skills are horrible, he don't know how to talk to customers with dignity and respect. I also experience this same kind of mannerism from a girl named Alyssa there. They can definitely use some better training. Maybe they could benefit from the girl Ciera who's wile works there with them. She greets customers with a smile all the time, she's very courteous and ver has very good manners. I came through one day and the bug juice didn't come off my windshield the first time, so I pulled back around and Ciera allowed me to go back through again. I have a Platinum membership and love it. I have a vip lane, a cool vip vacuum area with microfiber clothes, mat washers, and a bug free space to wipe my car down and give it final touches before I leave. This winter is going to be awesome because I won't freeze taking care of my car. Totally worth the cost. I don't need to talk to anyone because the vip sticker takes care of every gate - but the staff smiles and waves at me and they play good music in the vip detail area. Team VP drives by this car wash every time we go back and forth to the dog park. This car wash is massive. When we pulled in we were immediately overwhelmed and thankfully it was 9 am and no one was behind us because we had no idea where to go. The signage is not terrific, so we just drove around to the back of the building until we saw a person who waved us over. There are signs everywhere that talk about gemstones. Rubies, diamonds and gold. This place is overrun with gemstones. The young man who explained the entire process was literally the only redeeming part of Drive and Shine. He is an amazing employee and is exceptional at his job. He needs a promotion. He was able to tell us about all the pricing options, do his job and try to up-sell without pressuring us. I don't envy his job at all, but he does it well. The car washes at Drive and Shine are expensive. I realize they come with vacuum privileges, but $9 for a basic wash is pricey (a basic wash at a competitor is $6). We opted for the next step up, which was $15 because it cleaned the undercarriage and our VW was really dirty. The wash itself was very fast and the dryers were very powerful. Our Aussies did not like any of the process. We were told before we went in that we should keep our receipt because if we were unhappy we could come back around and go through again for free. We unfortunately needed to get our Aussies home, so we left immediately. When we got home we discovered our car was not altogether $15 clean. I would say our VW was about $8 clean. There was still a significant amount of dirt on the tailgate, around the license plate, near the door handles and on the front grill. Now I know these areas are tough to get clean, but we were promised a full all around car wash. This was an experience. When cars go through their wash in winter covered with sand from the roads it goes onto their foam wraps and they scratch just like brushes at any other car wash. If you value your paint job, go to a brushless wash. My new car's beautiful paint is ruined. I had the VIP membership and over the winter the car wash beat the paint off my car leaving several deep scratches but to get anywhere I had to know the day of each exact scrape to be able to confirm it on camera which over winter I didn't check every day to know. My windshield cracked while in the car wash on 6-13-22. I watched it crack. It started at the bottom near wipers and went up to rear view mirror. I reported it to Jeremy. Jeremy took my information and said he would get back with me in 48 hours. He said he had to watch the videos to make sure that it actually happened in the car wash. A week goes by and nothing from the manager. I also left a message on 6-12-22, and no one returned my phone call. On Monday afternoon, 6-20-22, 7 days later, I talked to Jeremy again and he said he lost the paperwork. He said the crack started at the top from a previous chip, which there wasn't and clearly was getting his story mixed up. Not impressed with him at all. Never apologized, basically said there was nothing they could or would do about it. For a million dollar car wash, they really should find new management to run and operate and to at least follow through phone calls. Very disappointing. No customer service at all! read more

It cost too much for what you get in the summer, winter its ok. I do not like going and they are down for work that they should be doing after hours. You pay for service and you cannot get, or you have to waste gas going back a few times. Some of the workers are kind of smart butt, and think its funny, but it is not to ride across town to was your car and cannot get in. Also, I explained I did not want to paid on the 1st, that is not even when I started, today I went in and was told my card was expired. I hope it was, I do not want them to take any more money out of my account. I did not even know they went up until they starting taking the money! Towards the end of the initial month of car washes my friend determined that she would not be able to use it in the near future. She tried to cancel on line but that option was not available or not found. We went to the Gull Road facility and the attendant did something with the sign in system and told us that her wash service was canceled effective midnight. Some days later her credit card was charged for another month of washes. She called the company but they would not refund her money. She was forced to dispute the charge with her credit card which was not acceptable. In my opinion, a compnay that makes it hard to cancel a service then refuses to refund an incorrect charge is not deserving of out future business. That is sad since we enjoyed going there. Disappointed at my car wash. The experience was neat, and for a "million dollar" car wash I thought the results would be superior. But in the end and $25 later I think I'll stick with the $15 "other guys." They missed the entire roof of my car and there was dirt and residue left all over my car. :-/ it might be due to me having a small car and I do find that to be a common issue at many places. They do offer a "rewash guarantee"... so I will try that and update. HORRIBLE. I paid $25 for a service that didn't clean my car. The vac area was filthy with trash and dirt all over. Two of the first vacs didn't function and one had the wand stuck inside the machine and the hose dangling. I contacted them on Facebook Messenger, including sending pics, and all they did was make excuses that my antenna, according to an owner's manual, was 8" and too long and that the brushes had to be retracted. They kept sending me pics of some car's antennas. That doesn't exactly address the dirt on the front bumper, sides, and wheels. I don't have this experience at other places, such as Milwood, where the wash is only $6 and my car is clean, or at the washes at Meijer Xtreme car wash with either brushless or standard wash. I guess giving them the opportunity to fix the issue wasn't good enough and they seemed to want to keep making excuses and texting me. I ended up having to block them. Really wanted to like this. After living in Stafford, Virginia for a number of years I was extremely spoiled with a car wash that was $20 and full service. That wash had employees buzzing around, would hand dry your car with several employees and even wipe down your interior. I have been searching for something similar here in Michigan. Sadly this car wash that I used today was NOT even close. The employee by the credit card machine was kind and that's the only reason for 2 stars. My Explorer back end was extremely dirty in the entire back and even had parts on the side that were not touched. The fire blowers looked cool, but did not dry my car any better. I've been signed up for VIP for about 6 months. I'm an Uber/Lyft driver and it is extremely important for me to be able to Vacuum out my car daily. This Kalamazoo location has still not restarted their outdoor vacuums. It is now the end of July 2020. I gave you one extra month, but can wait no longer. All the other car washes have restarted their outdoor vacuums, so you can no longer blame Covid restrictions. P.S. I will not pay another extra $20 a month to use the inside vacuums. read more

Go in on the 14th for a simple oil change ended paying almost $400 354 to be exact , drove it downtown to see if anything was wrong , nothing , drove up the street 5 mins and still fine , drive to galbergs about a 25 minute drive and on the way back the check engine light comes on and car cuts off now its engine rattling like there is no oil , now the car ran like a top as my nephew is a dealer and mechanic so it was basically the car I wanted to my specs and a definite runner 07 maxima had them before they are work horses the sup comes looking suspicious and neverous ( should be drug tested ) and starts in with the obvious double talk how there's nothing they can do and engines can go from quiet to full blown knocking ( I'm 52 driving since 12 ) like I'm idiot and from these reviews EYE'M GOING FOR FULL BLOWN CLASS ACTION SUIT .
