Fantastic spot! Came for the gluten free options and was not disappointed. Our waitress and cook were so helpful and sweet as well as very knowledgeable regarding allergies and dietary preferences. 100% recommend. I had the pabellon and tried their delicious coconut cilantro sauce ! We came for breakfast and took lunch and did not disappoint. I also tried their mini almond empanadas and they're teeny tiny. As a gluten free foodie , you can give it a try but be aware that they're super tiny. The atmosphere was very welcoming, homey and laid back which we really appreciated. Overall, I'd go there again if in the area. :) read more

We need more spots like this in Miami! Wow, I loved it so much! Located in a small shopping center towards the end of Doral, this spot seems like a local hole in the wall. My intern recommended Pure Joy to grab a bite as we co-worked and it didn't miss! Healthy, delicious options were my favorite part of it all. I mean we indulged in almond flour tequenos, mushroom flatbread, also made with almond flour and a carne mechada arepa! Everything was filled with flavor but didn't feel heavy at all. Our server was also a sweetheart and super helpful. I would definitely come back especially to try their healthy pancakes and desserts because they look incredible! read more

My husband and I ate here on Saturday at about 11 AM. There was no wait, we were seated right away at a table for two. The inside was so cute and I loved the style. I love that they offer other options for people with certain allergies, diets and preferences like gluten free and vegan options. The service was good. The coffee took some time to come, but it was good. We got the mini chicken empanada shareable... it only came with five mini empanadas... very little for the price in my opinion, however, they were very delicious. The chicken inside was so good. I wish it came with more, for the price and it being a shareable menu item it felt like very little. For the meal I got The Avo One which is whole wheat bread with avocado, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions and sesame seeds on top. Honestly, I did not really love it. The avocado did not taste fresh, it did not taste like it came from a freshly cut avocado, but from a container of pre-packaged smashed avocados that have been in the fridge for a while... I don't know if that's the case, but that's what it tasted like. The toast did not come with eggs so I had to order eggs on the side. My husband got chicken and waffles... this also was not very good. I had a bite of the waffles and they were not warm and tasted a bit like eggos... my husband did not like the chicken very much either. The total was much higher than I expected, and although the ambience of the place was nice, and the employees were great... for the quality of the food it just did not feel worth it. The best thing were the mini empanadas, and it only came with five. 3.25/5 read more

Pure Joy Restaurant - Gluten free French Toast - Gluten-Free Near Me - Doral, Florida

Pure joy is a cute and friendly place. Our server was so sweet with my girls, took her time to explain menu items and answer questions we had. I started with a decaf oat milk latte that was very flavorful and not watered down. My husband a regular latte and my oldest had a mango smoothie that was made from fresh fruits and thick. I had the banana pancakes they were delicious, perfectly cooked and topped with fresh fruits. Portions were just right not too much or too little. My husband had the mushroom flatbread on almond flour (this was hands down our favorite dish). The flat bread was perfectly crunchy yet soft at the same time, loaded with mushroom, homemade almond ricotta cheese, arugula, and pickled onions. My oldest had the avocado toast which was very flavorful. They accommodated my youngest request of mini pancakes (they weren't very good tho, dry and hard). I love that they have many vegan options right on the menu not having to make special requests is very nice. Food did take long for only having 3 tables with customers. Overall it was a pleasant experience and will return. read more

I came here today with a few coworkers for lunch. This is seriously the best lunch restaurant in the area. We have tried other restaurants during lunch and none of them compete with this place! Service is great. They understand we are here for lunch so they are very quick. I had the truffle flatbread and omg it's amazing!!! So delicious. Fresh ingredients. 100% recommend it! The price is also reasonable considering the portion and the fresh ingredients. I will continue to come back here. Love this place and so happy we found it! read more

I went to co-work here with my manager, and we loved it! It's also really close to where I live, so I'm definitely coming back for more. We ordered the mechada arepa, the truffle and mushroom flatbread with almond flour, the tequeños with almond flour, a Jamaica agua fresca to drink, and for dessert, the brownie. The star of this meal was the brownie--it was extremely sweet (which I loved) and had better ingredients than a regular brownie. Definitely a great option for a sweet treat. I also loved the flatbread; it tasted so good!As a Venezuelan, I don't usually order arepas or tequeños when eating out since I can have them at home, but they were good. The tequeños made with almond flour were a bit dry and tasted like whole wheat bread. Definitely coming back to try a smoothie! read more

This place is a gem. So glad to have discovered this fresh creative kitchen on this side of town. It can be hard to find healthy foods that actually taste good that you won't get tired of. Thankfully, Pure Joy has so many options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert as well as juices and acai bowls. So far, I love how all of their food tastes. And I can indulge because it's not heavy at all and it seems like they're always creating something new and fresh. Believe it or not, I'm fairly picky with the type of foods that I eat in the sense that I try to avoid foods that are highly processed, are high in sodium, and/or contain lots of preservatives/artificial ingredients. This is not what you'll find here at Pure Joy. Add to all of this the pleasant ambiance and the fact that the servers have been kind, attentive, and informative. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes here from all the pics that I've seen. Love this place. read more

Super cute cafe in Midtown Doral with a feel good vibe! I passed by here spontaneously when I was looking for a healthy-ish lunch place in the area and Yelp came to the rescue. Everyone was super inviting. They offer free wi-fi and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. The place is decorated super nice. I ordered a matcha latte and a Kikiriki arepa which comes with perico (yes, I always have to laugh reading this too thinking of the word's other meaning but it this case they meant scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions). The arepa came with a coconut cilantro sauce which was super yummy. I loved that they have contactless payment where you can scan the bill and pay online. But I can see how this could be challenging for older people. read more

Our next food adventure take us to Pure Joy Restaurant located in Doral we going at breakfast time I never go before to a place I feel like home and the energy you feel when you coming inside and seat is real. Our waitress Albony was incredible kind and professional because she  offer the best option from the menu and she come to our table to see how is everything about the food and drinks. Now I want to say thanks to chef Ricardo and Esperanza the lady helping in the kitchen because the food is like a gallery of color and savor every plate we ordered is better then the other, the combination of the fresh ingredients the chef used is so amazing my palate explodes when I trying each bite and everything was so well prepared that I can't wait for my next visit. And each drink is also prepared by a young specialist barista with the perfect recipe of ingredients that has an effect in your mouth that you want to savor until the end. Have tried to go twice and it's never open. Not sure what their hours are but they are not as stated on this page. We give up.

First the positive. The place is cute and small. The Reina arepa is amazing. Service is nice. Now the not so great. I went for the gluten free options. The pancakes are very mushy. When I ask they say it because they add bananas. The waffle is very dry and cold also the fruit is just regular fruit nothing special. I guess for me a waffle should be warm and crispy. Also when you order American coffee they do not have creamer, if you want they can sell you a small amount of milk which for me is ridiculous when you have coffee. And... they automatically add 20% gratuity which I find a tad high for being an automatic charge. read more

Pure Joy Restaurant - Avocado toast with burrata and prosciutto - Gluten-Free Near Me - Doral, Florida

this restaurant caught my attention on yelp because of their huge variety of healthy options. The fact that you might be craving a burger or cheese filled dough but are being health conscious is what will drive you here. I think their menu is unique and has a lot of variety. They have a huge selection of dairy free, gluten free, keto, and vegan options. Service was very friendly and welcoming, The almond flour tequeños, chicken tacos, deserts and drinks I tried were all very good. Meatball appetizer and main course salmon entree were below average, would not order these items again. read more

This place is great if you're trying to lose weight, because the portions are diet-sized. What a small, overpriced lasagna! The flavor was great but not filling at all. It seems ordering multiple items is the way to go. But, spending $30+ on a vegan lunch makes no sense. You're better off going to any other vegan place in Miami. In short, make portions sufficient! Yes, I'm hangry. read more

Seriously. This place is aptly named! The staff, the food, the atmosphere: each in and of itself is pure joy! After a few harrowing days of travel and being stuck we found this place and all my troubles melted away. Bc I have a very restricted diet, I'd hardly eaten for a few days. Pure Joy has incredible gf options: no rice bread substitute here! Incredible almond bread (and several desserts all made with almond flour and no white sugar :) Pancakes, waffles, and French bread: gf options no problem! The Kikiriki is hearty and satisfying. The gf walnut almond pancakes--sublime. If I lived here, I'd come every day! read more

Wonderful find. To start I appreciate the light and inviting interior. The menu took some exploring but my waiter was patient. Tried to deliberate over avocado toast (which I could get anywhere) and the kikiriki. So the kikiriki....Obviously I tried something new. He advised me it was filling. INDEED. The fluffy scrambled eggs had a nice balance of slightly crunchy onions, tomato and cilantro...nothing crazy. But then they tucked into a pocket of cornmeal based bread which was grilled. It was like a pancake and tamale had a baby over a panini press. Delightful yet filling. The sauce on the side seemed to be a sour cream based chimichurri number. A tad sour but so fresh. Not heavy like cheese in the morning (on a hot Miami day) so I quite enjoyed it as well. My cortado espresso was also delightful. This is not a roaster, so I won't pontificate over the beans. But a pleasant serving. When I come back I will add a photo! read more

Food was good, and creative, great service and lovely ambiance. It was a hidden gem. Will definitely be going back!

The wraps, flat bread and pasta is good and the servers were very friendly. They are also dog friendly too. Highly recommended for brunch.

What a great find! As stated in its name, it was PURE JOY to eat here! We had several plates - street corn, yuca tequeños, arepa, curry, popcorn chicken w/sweet potato fries and hummus. All the foods were delicious!it was hard to decide what to order, so we are going to have yo go back to try some others. They even have Happy Hour wed-sat 5pm-10pm! Parking is confusing - you can park in garage next door on 1st or 2nd floor (spaces/sections marked RETAIL). We were lucky to go early but I can"t imagine parking at night or weekends... read more

Ordenamos: vegan empanadas, vegan burger, guava pitaya açaí bowl, and the chikn and waffles. Para empezar, todo en este sitio es congelado, el waffle estaba congelado y súper duro, todo es servido con la misma salsa. Pedí syrup y me trajeron en un pequeña vasito, muy poco, no es forma de presentar syrup. Burger, sin sabor (same mustard sauce). To start, everything in this place is frozen, the waffle was frozen and super hard, everything is served with the same sauce. I asked for syrup and they brought me in a small glass, very little, it is not a way to present syrup. Burger, tasteless (same mustard sauce). The sweet potato fries had no salt at all, and they lacked cooking but were burnt on the ends. Acai, you need banana, and more toppings for the bowl that this restaurant decided to use, it is too Acai for the amount of toppings. The place is very expensive for the type of food they serve, it has no flavor. The waitress stared at us the whole time in front of the table. Ahh and they take a long time. It is definitely not worth going there. But the experience was good. Just because it's healthy doesn't mean that the food doesn't taste like anything. But it was good to go, the place looks super, everything is very clean. read more
