Pleasantly surprised on this place. We went for the first time because of all the hype and they weren't lying! Food is delicious, people working there are nice, and the place is clean and modern looking. It's your typical fast food layout like places such as Chipotle or Chicken Kitchen. But in my opinion the food quality and options is much much better. The only thing I would change is to offer more sitting area, but I get that this type of place probably gets 80% of their orders as take-out. Portions are generous so you might be able to stretch a bowl for 2 servings. But beware, it is delicious, so you might just take it down in one sitting!

This new "paint by the numbers" restaurant serving healthy and tasty Mediterranean food is one of the newest in the Hialeah Heights development. I remember the first couple of weeks after they opened, it was really packed, with lines out the door, so I decided to wait until things cleared up to go visit. They have about three or four standard bowls that can be customized, as well as a "make your own" bowl deal. They also sell the same dishes in a pita wrap version. I ordered their harissa chicken bowl with hot honey, and enjoyed it; the meat tasted fresh, and it certainly did have a little bit of a sweet heat. Since I was going to the gym afterwards, I didn't try any soda, although I did see that they have fruit-based sodas, not the commercial stuff. I just had water. The space look pretty clean, and well lit from both inside lighting as well as large windows/storefront. There was an annoying alarm going on which based on what I'm reading another reviews might have been from them setting up or new building set up issues, but it was certainly annoying.

2nd review. Food is always good. Service was fast but enough seating to sit and enjoy our meal.

One of my friends is obsessed with Cava and when she told me one opened up in Miami I knew I had to see what the hype was about! I had heard that the wait times were very long so I decided to place an order for pick-up online. I loved how easy it was to place my order and how pick-up times were as short as 15-20 minutes from the moment I placed my order. The best way I can describe this restaurant is like a Mediterranean Chipotle. They offer grain bowls, grain/salad bowls, and wraps. I really enjoyed building my bowl and was (good)overwhelmed by the amount of options in dips, sauces, and toppings. I made my bowl with saffron rice, supegreens, and honey chicken (with many toppings) and it was delicious and filling. Please make sure to order the pita chips. They complete the meal! The only downfall is that they are very pricey in my opinion. I will definitely be coming back!

There was so much hoopla about this place opening in Hialeah that I came by today because I was in the area. I was surprised to see that they were out of almost every meat. Signs were posted at the front door and on the glass before ordering. I still forged ahead and ordered the bowl with the falafel. The food was good. I felt the toppings were fresh and I did appreciate the number of toppings available to add to your bowl. I would probably go back if I'm in the area but I would wait until the craze of this place dies down a bit. They need to work out some of their operational issues first.

Everything about this place is great. Theyre quick even during a lunch rush. The food is fresh, top quality. Their options, portions and prices are spot on, although the fountain drinks are a bit pricey. I cant believe ive never been here before but now its my go-to lunch spot. Ordering online is quick and easy too. Its like a Mediterranean chipotle (better version of chipotle). Instead of a ladle full of sour cream and cheese slopped on top of beans....theres actually good toppings and dressings.

Ordered through Uber Eats and loved the bowl, the only issue was the avocado was hard.

They finally opened a Cava in Miami. Build your own bowl is the way to go! Everything is fresh. The portion sizes are excellent. Everything is clean and efficient. My only tip is to get the sauces on the side. You can't go wrong otherwise!

Obsessed with cava. I can't wait until we have other locations further south. Pinecrest needs one!! This location had fast service, a was very clean, accesible parking--and what can I say about the food. Always fresh, always delicious

The food taste amazing if you are looking to try Mediterranean food. The style is similar to Chipotle, where you can choose your bowl and customize. It was my first time trying Mediterranean food, so I got a kids meal and there were being very kind about it. For the price and quality of the food is very delicious. The customer service is amazing, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The ambiance is nice, they recently open, but manage to have the customers waiting very organized and is an open kitchen so you can see how the food is made. The lemonade is so yummy, they also make it fresh everyday too. The bathroom is gender neutral, and although the restaurant is very busy they manage to have a clean bathroom!

Just a heads up, it gets very busy during lunch time and there is difficulty trying to find parking around here. Highly recommend pick up orders or to go since 9 out of 10 times you won't find any parking. The quality, the salads, and wraps are always fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken and it never disappoints. Sometimes there are bonuses and discounts available within the app and with your credit card too! I also paid $4 extra for extra chicken. If there was "extra" chicken there must have been none to start with. Hardly any in the salad. No dressing. None on the side, none on the salad. In fairness they offered an email voucher for $5 that does me no good since I leave tomorrow so I declined it. His level of customer service immediately stood out, he genuinely takes the time to guide first-time customers and make them feel comfortable. Frank suggested what he considers the four must-try sandwiches for a first visit: the Italian, Tuna, Corned Beef & Pastrami, and the Philly Cheesesteak. I followed his recommendation and tried the tuna sandwich, which was outstanding, fresh, perfectly balanced, and generously prepared. I also took a Tuna sandwich to go for my wife after trying it and ordered the Italian to try later, which I'm already looking forward to. What impressed me most was not just the quality of the food but the overall experience. Frank's knowledge of his menu, his willingness to help customers decide, and his genuine pride in the deli create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. If you love great sandwiches, top-notch service, and an owner who truly cares about the customer experience, I highly recommend Franky's Deli Warehouse to anyone. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.
