Haley did amazing work. Such a talented artist! First met with her about the overall concept, incorporating my love for Hawaii through a turtle/plumeria design and my favorite symbol, the heart. It only took a couple of revisions before she hit on a design that was perfect. It was only my second tattoo, the first being a long, long time ago. My memory of that tattoo was of pain! So I was a bit nervous going into this. Haley's technique was so different from my previous one. Hardly felt it. Her gregarious personality kept me from even noticing any discomfort. Will definitely come back to her in the future! read more

Don't waste your time because they will waste your time for you. I drove 45 minutes and showed up as soon as they opened and they told us that the tattoo artists worked "late (10pm)" last night and didn't know when they'd decide to come in. My 68 year old mother works harder than these guys.... Unbelievable read more

My friends and I were in this small town on a trip and we decided to stop by for spontaneous piercings on a Friday afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted by Sarah, who was really helpful and sweet. I got a second lobe and my friend got two first lobe piercings. The price was $25 for one (any piercings) or $40 for two which is a really good deal compared to other shops. It was a clean shop and she used a needle instead of gun. One of my other friend had her industrial fall off and wanted to put it back in but the bottom had closed up. Sarah was extremely nice and offered to repierce it for free, so she only paid for the jewelry itself. She even gave us care packages with sea salt, shot cups to clean our ears, cotton swabs, and even candy. Sarah was super helpful and everything about the whole experience was wonderful. P.S. We got to pick out these adorable belly rings that she gave for free. Definitely recommend if you're in town and looking for a spontaneous thing to do! read more

This establishment is the home vibe establishment that individuals hope for when coming into a business. Owner Chris is the most wholesome man and judge free character with him. The other workers are just as great. Judgement free and caring of where you want your work. I have come here for the last 3 month consistently and have not seen any other behavior otherwise. Truly blessed to find somewhere to feel loved and accepted by all. I will be coming back. read more

Got my nosed pierced here, great experience! I went in to see Jasmin and when I got there I was asked if I would be okay with the apprentice doing my piercing. I'm all for the education (especially since they were up front about it in the beginning). She seemed confident, I agreed and 5 minutes later I was on my way with me new nose piercing. read more

MlmI first went into pure heart tattoo with my brother in June so that he and I can get matching tattoos. My brother being a truck driver we initially met with the owner Chris to decide on exactly what we wanted to have done. So he got it together in less than a day. The next week we went in and didn't have Chris do my brothers tattoo but another artist that is just as good. It turned out great!! With life getting in my way I made a few appointments that I had to cancel and Chris was totally understanding. I finally was able to get my tattoo two weeks ago by Chris' blessed hands and I cant be more happy with how it came out. Great shop! Great service! Blessed people! read more

Chris has been doing my tattoos since last year. I always bring my daughter with me hes always been really humble and now that he finally opened up his shop it's even way better than ever. He has a mini movie theater set up in the lounge so friends or family waiting can watch a few movies while you get your tattoo and also the cafe across the street is pretty good although they are a bit pricey. Another great thing is they will not try and rip you off with pricing and I would say they are more than fair on pricing read more

Pure Heart Tattoo - Chris Sharpe is great. All family feel at this place. - Tattoo Near Me - Fallbrook, California

OK so bit of a backstory, I have gotten my ears pierced three times before and all the times they have gotten infected, not knowing previously that I'm allergic to gold. And every single time I've done it at either Claire's or piercing pagoda which is far from being the greatest place to go to apparently. So I had done some research into getting ear piercings done at a tattoo shop. Of course I was super skeptical and scared since I do have a fear of needles but I went anyways. And previously had gone into pure heart to get it done, but Sarah Jones (the body piercer/tattoo artist) was out until today, so I didn't mind waiting or stalling because I'm afraid of needles. I got in there and was greeted by the owner Chris, who I'd met before when I came in and Sarah. I did the liability/emergency form and she took me back to do the placement and piercing. I was incredibly nervous about it since I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. She went through the process and said she could hand do the piercing or get the piercing gun...at first I wanted it hand done but Sarah explained that it takes a tad bit more time and is a little bit more painful then the gun which is pre-loaded and then it's in. She applied numbing cream which really helped since it feels cool on the ears. She used Hypoallergenic earrings since I have sensitive ears, also she suggested to give me earrings with a longer stem so if my ears really swelled up then they'd have room and still be comfortable. All in all it was a wonderful, comforting experience! I definitely recommend getting your ears pierced at a tattoo shop and this one if you're near. read more

I have been to this shop twice now and have had a stellar experience both times, the shop itself is incredibly clean and all of the artists as well as piercers are very very friendly and helpful. Very professional and I even managed to get a nap in during my tattoo. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! read more

Holy crap what a laid back great group of individuals. Having more than a few tattoos I've been to a few shops around San Diego and Orange County but the atmosphere here is so cool no one is going to shame you for wanting what you want here and the price point is amazing especially for California bc like let's be real everything is expensive as hell here. I've been in a few times and just can't get enough and every time I am here I see all the artist pumping out great work. I have 5 pieces that Meggan designed off from a very scattered brain reference collection and each one exceeds my wildest dreams. 10/10 will be back. read more

First off let me say, as a woman sometimes walking into tattoo shops in general can be extremely intimidating. I have been into my share and have always felt standoffish from the jump but when I walked into Pure Heart and met Chris I immediately felt comfortable, like I was in the company of a friend. His shop is everything you could hope for, not packed with unnecessary nonsense and music that makes you want to walk out the door. Chris is the real deal, from booking, to the back end work and of course actual tattooing, he does it all and if you cant admire that work ethic, you're crazy. But as a tattoo artist, he is INCREDIBLE. He knows what hes doing and his work speaks for itself. He truly puts the love he has for his job into every piece he puts out, his line work is some of the best I've ever seen (and so are his prices) .If you want a great tattoo, by a great dude who is just out here loving God, his family and tattooing come see Chris! You wont regret it. read more

Went to get my ears pierced with a friend on Friday the 13th, which I know is a busy day and we were fine with that. However, we waited 2 hours to get our piercings because the staff was too careless to notice that we weren't waiting for a tattoo and we should've been pierced and out of there within 30 minutes because there wasn't a wait for piercings. This isn't even my biggest problem. I got my second lobe piercings done that day. I wasn't allowed to pick my jewelry, which may have been due to it being Friday the 13th, but the jewelry was bigger than I'd like. Since it was bigger I thought that's why it looked like it was too close to my first lobe piercing. Now, I have changed to smaller earring and put earrings in my first holes as well. I now know that my second piercings are way too close to the first and they are uneven. Even at Claire's they mark your ears and then let you look at them to make sure you like the placing before sticking you with a needle! read more

I called last minute on a Friday afternoon to see about coming in for a nose piercing, and was given Sarah's direct # and told she was on her way in. I called her and she said she could fit me in before her next appointment, which was in about 45 minutes! Perfect! I ran down and she was just about done setting up for me! Everyone was SUPER friendly and I felt right at home! Great music and vibes! Sarah helped me pick out the best placement, walked me through the styles of jewelry, and was just a really cool person. She sent me on my way with a goody bag of cleaning products, instructions, and even some candy! Highly recommend! And PS - they have a kid zone that most adults would be stoked to hang out in! Thank you! read more

Went to get a scaffold piercing. The piercing was extremely crooked. I messaged the shop to discuss the matter and ask for a partial refund as I realized they would be out the cost of the jewelry. I received absolutely no response. Maybe he's good at simple piercings like nose but he totally messed up my scaffold piercing which tends to be a tricky piercing to pierce as well as heal. read more
