I was contacted after the phone call to go over cost and instructions and information on the tattoo I wanted. Easy to locate with plenty of parking spots. My tattoo artist was Yeimi Anaya and she was just amazing, not only as an artist but as a support system through the experience. I rate this place a zero star! Maybe not the place but the tattoo artist Felix Robles (Brook1nk). I showed and told him what I wanted and he insisted to do it his own way. I let him be (which was dumb of me ) but it wasn't even detailed in his own way. I spent 5 hours there because he was also training someone. I feel like because of him training he was not detailing or focused on my tattoo. I did get my tattoo fixed at no borders tattoo so here is a before and after photo. He was shaky and honestly not very good at his job. NO ONE in this shop even said that he is an apprentice. If I had known I wouldn't have had him work on my tattoo. Went in the shop today , and will did wonders ! He took his time and re assured if I needed a break or I couldn't handle the pain that it's okay and we can take as many breaks as I need ! This shops vibe was just... IT I didn't feel like a customer the way they were talking to each other it was like I knew everyone. Speaking of that ; I highly enjoyed the open bright set up (they have a cover if you do want privac, and when I came in the apprentice (I assume ,maybe not I'm sorry if you have another title ) was actively cleaning and doing windows . The shop owners were there and Didn't make anything comfortable looking over their work or shoulder like a boss. I highly recommend will , or anyone in this shop. I went to many tattoo establishments before committing in order to get appraisals to find the price range I was looking for. 1st Amendment tattoo told me 250 to 300. Heritage tattoo told me three to four hundred. Another place that I forget the name of told me some ridiculous amount and then I got to artillery ink which I know one of the owners there personally so I figured they might be my best bet anyways. I didn't tell any of the employees that I knew one of the owners just to get an idea how they would treat a normal paying customer cuz that's what I am anyways. My Price range was about $100 for a small piece that I've been wanting so all the other places saying above 200 was instantly a no-go. So artillery ink told me exactly the price range which I felt was fair so I decided to go with the person who gave me that estimate which was Tristan who was very helpful with giving me any information I was needing like help with placement size or any other details. Basically everything went very smoothly and he finished up in a timely fashion didn't take a bunch of smoke breaks like I've had other places do, even offered me some pizza that they had come in. Iit was around closing time and I didn't feel like he was rushing or like there was any time crunch at all. I Had a very good experience at artillery ink that's why I'm making this review so anyone else who's questioning there tattoo place or this one has a better idea or understanding of what they're working with. Boy oh boy this was a bad experience. I hit up Anthony Ray for a tattoo. Over the course of a month and a half, I tried to be really patient. This guy takes forever to respond, and then doesn't respond. We set an appointment for a consultation. I got there, and he's wasn't there, which really sucked because I drove over an hour to get there. I messaged him, and he didn't respond. He only responded after the guy at the shop texted him. Anthony then told me he'd be there in two whole hours. Great... Once he got there, he rushed the whole thing in less than five minutes, kinda pushing me out the door kind of feeling. He told me he'd show me a design that week, but that never happened. The day of the appointment, he didn't show up again. Didn't tell me until I messaged him. He said he was sick, but I really don't believe him. He said he would reschedule with me the day after. That didn't happen. I had to message him a couple days later to get his attention, then wait three more days for him to actually give me a date, which was three more weeks out. I waited that time, and hit him up the morning before for conformation. He never gave me the design, and never confirmed. At that point I knew he wouldn't show up, so I gave up. I let him keep his deposit because It's not worth the time driving out there. I also gave him 30 bucks for raffle tickets for a tattoo giveaway. I think that's fake too, because he never posted a winner. To this day he still hasn't responded, and I'm down 130 bucks to the laziest, most irresponsible, least professional "artist" I've ever had the displeasure of wasting my time with. Perhaps everyone else in the shop is amazing, but avoid Anthony Ray at all costs. Oh and if you don't believe me, or think that he acted this way because I've been a pain to work with, I'd be happy to show the time stamped DMs that show the exact opposite. read more

I scheduled an appointment a month ago with Daniel G @ 1st Amendment (owned by Artillery Ink.) I showed up today, ready for my appointment, only to be told "he's unavailable and someone will call me but "I don't know when." When I asked if I could get my deposit back I was told "I'm not sure." I realized I wasn't getting anywhere with this person so I hunted down another number on their website. Through a 45 minute text exchange with Person #2 I finally found out Daniel has been out for a while and they don't know when he will be back. The second person I spoke to was very nice. And she refunded my deposit. But at the end of the day, I don't have a tattoo nor do I know why I was never rescheduled. I will never be back. read more

We decided to come here last minute while on an overnight trip in Fallbrook. We made an appointment with Marcello and he was ready at the exact time he said he would be. He pierced my husband's nipples first and then did a second hole for me on my ear lobes. He was very polite, great conversationalist to keep you comfortable, clean & sanitary, and made sure to check our IDs & do corresponding paperwork like any professional shop would do.
