Set up an appointment with Forrest. Already texted him the idea and he drew it up. The outline in the pic was flash I picked off the wall (which I never do) but Envision has a lot of good art on the walls to choose from. Kimmy started first (her idea) and sat like a champ. It was her first tattoo and she was calm and inspiring. She was cleaned up and it was my turn. I have plenty of tattoos so I was excited to begin. The spot wasn't bad and we went full steam ahead. I'm not one for breaks and Forrest was in the zone so we kept going. I saw by the progress and the amount of line work that we were going to be awhile, so I suggested that we just complete the outline and I come back to finish the black/grey fill in and Forrest agreed. Honestly I was nodding off and wanted to go home and sleep. He wrapped me up solid and went home. In the morning I cleaned up the tattoo and am very happy with the results. Kimmy has already been talking about her next tattoos. She has the bug most of us get. Looking at spots of open skin and visualizing tattoos there. When that time comes we will be returning to Envision not only because of Forrest, who is super kind and just a great person that does great work, but because of the vibe in the shop. Lots of really good people to interact with and share experiences with. The place is clean and professional but also a great place to hang out and get quality ink. I have always used JESSICA for my tattoos and have and she blows my mind every time with her talent and ability to put imaginations into forever masterpieces! I've gotten so many tattoos from her ... actually every single one on my body lol, and I just get so excited to add a new ones! I've brought in it recommended 4-6 people for Jessica and all my friends/family have been more than satisfied who finally took the plunge and got there first tattoo from her. Her husband MIKEY also works at the same shop and does some pretty rad black widow tattoos and grayscale! I've never gotten a tattoo from him but I've seen his work and he is also great! I referred my brother here and now he is a client of Mikey. I also recently had a new experience with one of Envisions piercers CAMBRIA and 10/10 would recommend her to all my family and friends if they're looking at someone who's not only knowledgeable but gentle and makes you feel safe during the piercing process. She also took the time to help me order a look that would be cohesive for all of my ear piercings and my new nose and helix piercing that I was wanting to get. She had everything ordered and ready to go at my appointment that I had set up and I loved how it turned out. She helped with aftercare and any pictures that I would send if I was worried about how they were looking, and I've even recently reached out about wanting to switch out the nose piercing for something a little bit more flat because I'm not so careful she was more than willing to accommodate and has an appointment set up for me to help switch out my jewelry! Don't use Ryan. He gave me a good price on a tattoo. I was going to get another tattoo the same size at the same price but he messaged me on Instagram and told me he hates to be the bearer of bad news but he couldn't do my other tattoo because he had to pay the shop out of his pocket for the tattoo he did for me. I even provided him with another tattoo to give me a price on in which he didn't. A good business man would have still honored the price of the tattoo he was going to do for me and moving forward charged me a higher price for future tattoos. This is poor busy practice and is a bad reflection on Envision Tattoo Murieta. He seemed to also have a problem because he had to do a touch up on the tattoo he did. He barely had anything to say to me at all when he was doing the touch up. Any of the other artists I had in the past had no problem with doing a touch up. They were happy to do a touch up because it was there work. So if you are still interested in getting a tattoo here after reading this review use another artist and not Ryan. I will now be taking my business to another artist not working for this company. I am just trying to be honest and not angry. 10/10/22 The photo below is after the Touchup. I'm very unhappy. You can see how the color is off. When someone asks me where I got this tattoo done I will have to tell them Envision Tattoo Murieta. This doesn't look good for your business at all. 10/11/22 Now I'm attaching to this review the response that I got from the owner. I can't believe this is a response I got from an owner.!.! Came in super last minute on a Saturday. Wanted to get a matching tattoo for my sisters birthday. 1st, we were stoked to see the amazing wall art and could tell right away that the artists are talented and the shop is squeaky clean! We also couldn't help but fan out seeing a frame of MXPX art, so we knew we were definitely getting tattooed here. Anthony Jaeger stepped up and took us both on. He was quick to get set up after finishing up with another client. He was down to do a larger project, but we had a shorter timeframe to work with.
