Mike was on time and worked very efficiently. It was a big job as he had to run conduit from one side of the garage to the other. He also added a 50-amp breaker to the main panel. Excellent Service, Attention to Detail, and Professionalism!…read more I recently hired RB Handyman Service to tackle a long list of repairs and maintenance projects around my home, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience! Rick, the owner, arrived right on time at 8 a.m. to walk through approximately ten different projects I needed completed. These included hardwiring six smoke detectors, removing an old whole-house vacuum system and capping the PVC pipe, replacing caulking around my kitchen sink, shower, and bathtub, cleaning and maintaining our whole-house fan, replacing a faulty dimmer switch, and repairing and painting rotted wood on an outdoor shed and a bathroom baseboard. Rick took incredibly detailed notes and sent me a thorough estimate that same afternoon. The pricing was very fair, and after I approved the estimate, he called to let me know they could begin the following Monday. Jason arrived promptly at 8 a.m. Monday morning. Although I hadn't met him before, he immediately put me at ease by walking through every item on the list to confirm exactly what needed to be done. He was organized, professional, and got right to work, including picking up supplies and matching paint colors. I felt completely comfortable leaving for work while he worked on the house. When I returned that afternoon, I honestly couldn't even tell anyone had been there! Not a speck of dust, no mess, and no evidence of the amount of work that had been completed. Everything was left spotless. On Tuesday, Logan arrived to finish the last couple of painting details. Before wrapping up, he took the time to walk through the completed projects with me to make sure I was happy with everything. When I returned home, every item was finished, everything was clean, and the house was securely locked. What impressed me most was the exceptional communication and attention to detail between Rick and his employees. There was absolutely no disconnect between what I discussed with the owner and what his team actually completed. Every detail had been documented and communicated. At one point, I even thought a small item might have been overlooked, but Jason checked his notes, and sure enough, it was already on the list! It's refreshing to find a company where the owner and employees are equally professional, punctual, organized, and genuinely committed to doing a great job. RB Handyman Service exceeded my expectations. From the fair pricing and excellent communication to the quality of work and immaculate cleanup, the entire experience was outstanding. I will absolutely be calling Rick and his team again for future repairs and larger projects. I highly recommend RB Handyman Service to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented handyman company!

I hired Five or Free Electrical Solutions through Yelp for service scheduled on 2/11/26. They were…read morevery responsive in setting up a free quote on 2/10/26 and quickly scheduled the service for the next day. To secure the appointment, I had to prepay for a package that included full diagnostics and replacement of up to two devices. I felt comfortable paying upfront because of their reviews and business model, and I was on a tight timeline. On 2/11, the technician arrived on time, diagnosed the issue, and restored power to two non-working outlets. However, the job was not completed as agreed because the outlets required GFCI replacements. The technician said he was not informed that outlets needed to be replaced and did not have the necessary materials. That lack of preparation immediately caused delays. I also felt there was more focus on upselling a larger future project rather than completing the paid scope of work for the day. After I contacted the company, a follow-up was scheduled for 2/13/26. I was initially given a two-hour window, but the appointment was changed last-minute to later time that evening. The second technician was efficient and completed the outlet replacements in about 30-40 minutes. Still, the overall experience resulted in a multi-day setback that impacted my next urgent project and now not allowing me to move forward due to the long weekend (president's day). To their credit, management followed up and set up a call 2/17/26 with the manager of operations; they ultimately honored their "Five or Free" guarantee. However, I was initially told that all five promises had to be broken to qualify for a full refund, which contradicts their stated policy. Their guarantee clearly states that if even one promise is missed, the service is free; so I had to reference their own website during that discussion. At the end I appreciate that the full refund was ultimately offered / issued. However, due to the lack of preparedness, delays, and overall experience, I would not hire them again.
