The service crew arrived on time. They were friendly and installed my bathroom fan and light combo correctly. They took steps not to damage my shower. They cleaned up the bits of drywall that fell afterwards. One of the joists was not close enough for the metal bracket that came with the fan to be attached. So they attached other wood to the closest joist and attached the fan. One installer climbed into the attic space to finish the electric connections. No time wasted. Very efficient team. So I decided to remove the old light switch, which was a motion light switch. Not turning off the circuit breaker for that light switch caused me to accidentally short the circuit and I lost power to the switch.
