Very disappointed that I got serviced and nothing was found they just left me with my electricity off for part of my house. Our home warranty company sent Alejo electric out to fix a doorbell after we waited all day for another company they contracted, who was a no-show/no call. What a huge difference! From the woman who called to set up the appointment, to Ryan the electrician who came out, our experience could not have been any better. Alejo had an appointment much sooner than I anticipated and Ryan showed up on time. He even called prior to his arrival to let us know how far away he was. He was very knowledgeable, very funny and he actually seemed to enjoy his job. He knew exactly what the problem was and he fixed it in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the second time around their customer service was sub-par and the other guys who came to replace a broken ballast were over an hour late and the quote I was given was almost $100 more than originally quoted. We had an unfortunate event a few months ago where PG&E had blown our breaker box while they were replacing a transformer on our street. This caused our electricity to go out in our whole house. Prior to PG&E taking fault and fixing the issue, we were unsure what to do, so we called our Home Warranty who then assigned Alejo Electric to our case. Ryan came to our house and assessed the damages. He was extremely knowledgeable and it seemed promising that they could help get our house back in working order. We explained the issue with PG&E and I explained to them that even if our Home Warranty would not cover it, we would still like to move forward with fixing the damages and paying out of pocket so that we can move back into our house ASAP. Ryan assured me that they would help us as fast as they can. He just needed to call John, the owner, to talk about what needed to be done. After he left, I was expecting a call back from John by the next day at the very latest, if not by the end of that day. I never heard from him for 3 days. I left multiple messages for Ryan each day, as well as called the front office to leave additional messages EVERY DAY for John. The women at the front desk were very nice, but I still never received a call back. This was EXTREMELY frustrating as I have 3 kids, one being a 7 month old baby. Our food went bad and we were not able to live in the house. I felt that because our home warranty would not cover the damages, they no longer wanted to work with me. This was fine, however why not tell me that? Why would you leave me hanging and not return my calls when the last conversation I had with Ryan was that you guys would still be able to help me if I paid out of pocket? This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would have appreciated a call back letting me know that you could not help me so that I could find another electrician ASAP. After 3 days of waiting for their call, I was able to find another electrician who got the job done right away - no thanks to Alejo Electric. I am giving this business 1 star since the women at the front desk were very nice. When Ryan came to our house, he was very nice and knowledgeable also - however NOTHING WAS DONE. Recently when using an electric leaf blower, the power went out. Turns out that outlet and several others outside and in the garage were now without power. Called my home warranty provider who assigned Alejo Electric. While the first time I called to complete the scheduling their voice mail was full, I got through on another attempt and they returned my call. Appointment setup was straightforward, and they even called a day before offering an earlier time in the day. On the appointment day, Jesus came to the house. He quickly found that a GFCI outlet that was still with power was the culprit. It seems it had gone partially bad so the outlets after it were affected. He swapped that out, replaced another on that same circuit that would not reset. Quick and easy, great experience overall. If you have a home warranty suggest you try to get Alejo assigned. If you have your own project, other reviews are positive as well. read more

Fraudulent company with worst service . Please stay away from them. They just rob money without doing anything. The electrical shortage issue which these guys said to break the wall was later fixed by a handyman man just adding insulation to the wall outlet. Unfortunately, he does not go to customers homes to service. There are more details to this experience. This company is GREAT. Spoke with the boss, John, about the problem I was facing and that I was a bit scared as I smelled a burning plastic smell from the breaker box that was also making a crackling sound when I would flip it. They were super busy and were not going to be able to make it for 2 days. John had me send him pictures of the breaker box and did me a solid and squeezed me in the same day cuz he didnt want me to me scared about an electrical fire or whatever could possibly happen. When the technician arrived, he unscrewed my breaker box, *looked* at it for about 5 seconds, and put it back on saying there was nothing wrong. I asked him if he was going to test any of the breakers and he said it *looked* fine. Then he asked me where the main panel was, and because I live in a HOA complex, I told him where to go and offered to go out to show him. He quickly waived me off and said he'd go look at it himself. After about 5 minutes, he came back and told me that I needed the HOA to unlock the door to the building's main panel. I asked him what he was talking about and he said it was locked behind a door with a sign to call management. I reached out to the HOA and tried to explain the situation of needing to get to this "main panel". After several back and forths, they then explained this door the electrician was trying to open was the water heater, and all the electric was on the total opposite side of the building. I then sent a photo of the panels on the opposite side of the building and asked him if he needed access to anything other than what were in the photos because I had never seen what was behind the locked door. He then asked me "where was this"? (He didn't even see the panels the first time, because he didn't even listen and went to the wrong side of the building.) When he finally came back for a follow-up appointment, he concluded there was "nothing wrong" and told me it was probably PG&E's problem. (I did later have PG&E come a few times and they all confirmed there was no issue.) So this guy charged a service fee for literally doing nothing - he didn't test the breaker box, he didn't even go to the correct side of the building for the main breaker, had me go on a wild goose chase to open this so called "main panel", and then concluded there was nothing even wrong and blamed the electric company for everything. read more

I needed repair work on the light fixture and fan in the bathroom. I arranged an appointment for work between 7:00 am and 11:00 am last week. John Alejo came to the house at 8:00 am this morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and replaced both the light and fan units. The work was done in around 30 min. including a thorough clean up of the area. John was prompt and completed the work quickly. He was also very friendly and personable. Outstanding electrical work at this level is somewhat rare these days. They did the rewiring and everything is working fine they also re-labeled circuits, they checked all of the outlets and verify that the overload was gone.
