We used them on a referral as we have not had luck with other companies in the past. They were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and explained what was needed and why! It made me very comfortable knowing they knew what they were doing. Electrical is scary to me. As he was checking soften items he even explained why and the safety behind it. They are our new electrician choice and we are so pleased with the work! And now I don't have a fear of any Electical issues read more

Used them twice now! AAA++++. Honest and super efficient with fair pricing. They will find and fix the problem.

Very disappointed that I got serviced and nothing was found they just left me with my electricity off for part of my house. Saying they would have their master tech come out and I needed the problem fixed for my fridge down stairs. Then I called Denise to help me set an appointment , who is very rude and needs to learn basic manners and couldn't help me when I said it was urgent granted it was through home warranty they handled the situation so poorly and no disclosures to them bringing the most basic tools unable to figure out the problem. read more

I work with Alejo Electric on a regular basis and I honestly have nothing negative to say. They are great at what they do, they have reasonable response times, and they truly care about the customer. They have saved me so many times with last minute or emergency electrical requests. John, the owner, goes out of his way to fit you in the schedule even if it means he has to work a longer day. Ali, one of their technicians, is very efficient with repairs and great with our tenants. Last but not least, Denise in the office is great on the phone and she always gets you the answers you need. I am thankful that I have them as a vendor. read more

The technician was respectful but did not diagnose the situation properly and charged me $130 cash. No follow up from the company or anybody reaching out on the service as well read more

Our home warranty company sent Alejo electric out to fix a doorbell after we waited all day for another company they contracted, who was a no-show/no call. What a huge difference! From the woman who called to set up the appointment, to Ryan the electrician who came out, our experience could not have been any better. Alejo had an appointment much sooner than I anticipated and Ryan showed up on time. He even called prior to his arrival to let us know how far away he was. He was very knowledgeable, very funny and he actually seemed to enjoy his job. He knew exactly what the problem was and he fixed it in a timely manner. He was also patient and accommodating with three dogs who kept trying to force pets as he worked. Home warranty company or not, I would definitely call Alejo Electric again. read more

We had an unfortunate event a few months ago where PG&E had blown our breaker box while they were replacing a transformer on our street. This caused our electricity to go out in our whole house. Prior to PG&E taking fault and fixing the issue, we were unsure what to do, so we called our Home Warranty who then assigned Alejo Electric to our case. Ryan came to our house and assessed the damages. He was extremely knowledgeable and it seemed promising that they could help get our house back in working order. We explained the issue with PG&E and I explained to them that even if our Home Warranty would not cover it, we would still like to move forward with fixing the damages and paying out of pocket so that we can move back into our house ASAP. Ryan assured me that they would help us as fast as they can. He just needed to call John, the owner, to talk about what needed to be done. After he left, I was expecting a call back from John by the next day at the very latest, if not by the end of that day. I never heard from him for 3 days. I left multiple messages for Ryan each day, as well as called the front office to leave additional messages EVERY DAY for John. The women at the front desk were very nice, but I still never received a call back. This was EXTREMELY frustrating as I have 3 kids, one being a 7 month old baby. Our food went bad and we were not able to live in the house. I felt that because our home warranty would not cover the damages, they no longer wanted to work with me. This was fine, however why not tell me that? Why would you leave me hanging and not return my calls when the last conversation I had with Ryan was that you guys would still be able to help me if I paid out of pocket? This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would have appreciated a call back letting me know that you could not help me so that I could find another electrician ASAP. After 3 days of waiting for their call, I was able to find another electrician who got the job done right away - no thanks to Alejo Electric. I am giving this business 1 star since the women at the front desk were very nice. When Ryan came to our house, he was very nice and knowledgeable also - however NOTHING WAS DONE. To the business: please remember that actions speak louder than words. read more

Alejo Electric - Lighting Fixtures & Equipment Near Me - Stockton, California

Ali was great - according to Denise he is just a technician- but he was the reason I wanted to use their services again. Unfortunately, the second time around their customer service was sub-par and the other guys who came to replace a broken ballast were over an hour late and the quote I was given was almost $100 more than originally quoted. Will be using another company. read more

I had called Alejo Electric after I heard a zapping noise coming from my electrical panel. John, the owner, took my call and explained that my panel was "arcing", which was a fire hazard. John sent out a technician for a quote two days after I called, and the technician actually ended up fixing EVERYTHING the same day! The company was concerned for my safety and went above and beyond to help me. I am beyond appreciative for all their help, and cannot recommend this company enough! Incredibly fair prices as well. Thank you so much, Alejo Electric! read more

Recently when using an electric leaf blower, the power went out. Turns out that outlet and several others outside and in the garage were now without power. Called my home warranty provider who assigned Alejo Electric. While the first time I called to complete the scheduling their voice mail was full, I got through on another attempt and they returned my call. Appointment setup was straightforward, and they even called a day before offering an earlier time in the day. On the appointment day, Jesus came to the house. He quickly found that a GFCI outlet that was still with power was the culprit. It seems it had gone partially bad so the outlets after it were affected. He swapped that out, replaced another on that same circuit that would not reset. Quick and easy, great experience overall. If you have a home warranty suggest you try to get Alejo assigned. If you have your own project, other reviews are positive as well. read more

Fraudulent company with worst service . Please stay away from them. They just rob money without doing anything. The electrical shortage issue which these guys said to break the wall was later fixed by a handyman man just adding insulation to the wall outlet. The issue was resolved lesser than half amount than these guys charged for doing nothing. These guys are incompetent , greedy and try to cheat. read more

I am a single mom who was trying to install a ring camera and totally messed up all the wires. I contacted Alejo electric and the service I received was amazing. I am truly so grateful for the service provided by this company especially Joe and Jesus thank you guys will be calling you soon for more electrical jobs at my house, you guys rock. read more

This company is GREAT. Spoke with the boss, John, about the problem I was facing and that I was a bit scared as I smelled a burning plastic smell from the breaker box that was also making a crackling sound when I would flip it. They were super busy and were not going to be able to make it for 2 days. John had me send him pictures of the breaker box and did me a solid and squeezed me in the same day cuz he didnt want me to me scared about an electrical fire or whatever could possibly happen. When they came they had it fixed so fast and made sure to call me when they were on their way. The whole experience was a 10/10. Definitely will recommend to all my other friends and family. Thanks John! :) read more

The technicians sent this company are not knowledgeable they claim that they are experienced. Their diagnosis is not accurate. I was made to go in circles. The owner appears knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he does not go to customers homes to service. There are more details to this experience. But, for now my recommendation is to either stay away or be cautious with this company. read more

When the technician arrived, he unscrewed my breaker box, *looked* at it for about 5 seconds, and put it back on saying there was nothing wrong. I asked him if he was going to test any of the breakers and he said it *looked* fine. Then he asked me where the main panel was, and because I live in a HOA complex, I told him where to go and offered to go out to show him. He quickly waived me off and said he'd go look at it himself. After about 5 minutes, he came back and told me that I needed the HOA to unlock the door to the building's main panel. I asked him what he was talking about and he said it was locked behind a door with a sign to call management. I reached out to the HOA and tried to explain the situation of needing to get to this "main panel". After several back and forths, they then explained this door the electrician was trying to open was the water heater, and all the electric was on the total opposite side of the building. I then sent a photo of the panels on the opposite side of the building and asked him if he needed access to anything other than what were in the photos because I had never seen what was behind the locked door. He then asked me "where was this"? (He didn't even see the panels the first time, because he didn't even listen and went to the wrong side of the building.) When he finally came back for a follow-up appointment, he concluded there was "nothing wrong" and told me it was probably PG&E's problem. (I did later have PG&E come a few times and they all confirmed there was no issue.) So this guy charged a service fee for literally doing nothing - he didn't test the breaker box, he didn't even go to the correct side of the building for the main breaker, had me go on a wild goose chase to open this so called "main panel", and then concluded there was nothing even wrong and blamed the electric company for everything. read more

My light was fused in my two bedrooms and was completely in dark, was travellling tommorow and had no idea what to do as i had lot to do and did not really have time to call an electician and spend time. John called at around 7 PM and he helped me like a magiician over the phone. he brought light back to my bedrooms. I called him a GOD and i meant it. He could have easily made 125 and way more dollars if he came to my house but he was so honest and helpful that he just helped me over the phone , I really don't think that there are any other electricians who would have done that. I needed repair work on the light fixture and fan in the bathroom. I arranged an appointment for work between 7:00 am and 11:00 am last week. John Alejo came to the house at 8:00 am this morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and replaced both the light and fan units. The work was done in around 30 min. including a thorough clean up of the area. John was prompt and completed the work quickly. He was also very friendly and personable. Outstanding electrical work at this level is somewhat rare these days. I want to offer a note of thanks to both Jessica, and to Ali. I submitted through our home warranty company, and Jessica called to respond. Unfortunately the lead time was too long, so I went back to the warranty company. Jessica then called back to let me know of a cancellation, and that she was able to work us in to the schedule. I am very grateful for her follow-through and commitment. This is how you do business! Ali was our electrician, and I swear I somehow missed his Superman cape. Wonderfully nice fellow, great communicator, and a marvelous craftsman. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and checked our breaker box for any other issues....all in less than 15-minutes. He explained everything he did so even a knucklehead like me could understand. This is how you do business! My kudos to Alejo Electric, and I recommend them without hesitation. read more

Overall, a very good experience and I would not hesitate to use Alejo in the future. read more

Had a great experience with Ed from Alejo Electric. He was super cordial, professional, and he fixed everything we needed fixing!

John and his uncle came out and looked at the electrical problem and realized that the breaker box needed to be rewired. DO NOT USE this company my experience with them was horrendous. I would look into using virtually any other electrical company but them. I had small electrical work that needed to be completed, but after interacting with this company, I instead, used a different company. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional.
