Red Dog is a mixture of traditional gym equipment with specializations in both powerlifting and crossfit. The gym also runs group classes daily to cater to those interested in a more group-focused style of training. When people say there's a little something for everyone here, they truly mean it. The powerlifting equipment is all top of the line, in great shape, and will check every box you are looking for if in the market for a PL gym. I've been training and competing out of Red Dog for the last two years and it has been a godsend for my progress in the sport. For those interested in Crossfit, the gym is also specialized in that with all of the equipment and materials you need to push that sport as well. Where the gym is developing the best is in its ability to cater to those looking to lift, train, or get in shape, but not compete in a sport itself. Courtney and Aaron are always looking for things to add to the gym to enhance the experience and in November of 2025 there will be a large number of new machines and pieces of equipment coming into the gym. Couple that with 24/7 access, a well-below typical price for a specialized gym such as this one, and a great group of people who train here and you have the best gym north of the Triangle hands down. I have sent two messages to the help center with no reply, then I dropped into the Cary studio where they gave me a contact name and said it cannot be handled in-studio, then I called the contact the studio provided and they indicated they could not help, then I went through website and tried to cancel that way. This worked but I never received a confirmation. I had to finally call customer service at 833-448-2561. They were able to confirm the cancellation on the phone but could not explain the missed messages through portal. Overall a good place, just be forewarned you will have to do some serious hustle to get that cancellation.

Classes are normally limited to 36 people, though presently, I think it's limited to 12 for COVID. Masks are worn for indoor workouts, doors are opened for circulation. I had…read morepreviously tried things like T25 (Videos), and in the past had been a gym member (lifting weights); but none of them really kept me motivated and coming back...nor was I really very dedicated to cardio work. F45 kind of changed all that. Each session is pretty intense as far as a workout goes, but it's all about how hard you push yourself. Exercises can be slower and easy, or fast and hard (or slow and hard ;-) ) depending on how you feel, and your level of confidence. However, the trainers that are there to help you along and the team of people that you work out with that help you to get motivated make all the difference. The folks that come there are super friendly and engaging; and the trainers are personable and non-judgemental ;-) . It's a high intensity workout, and it's easy to get a lot out of it so long as you go on a regular basis. All that being said, I'm a fan of F45. There are some things that make it better (perhaps) than others: - Erika (the trainer that is usually there when I go) is super friendly and helpful; she's always greeting you with a smile on her face, and ending the day with high-fives; and during the workouts she's letting you know where you can improve - or where you can push yourself harder. - The changing exercises daily (both in terms of timing, flow, and exercises themselves) keep things from getting dull; and you're focusing on different body parts - which is also great. - There are NO TREADMILLS; it's personal - but I'm not a fan of those things at all, so the lack of them is a plus for me. I've met several nice people at the local F45, and although none of them have invited me or my family over for dinner, I remain hopeful. Seriously though - the people are great, the trainers are great, and they have these heart monitors you can strap on to see how much you are improving. I'd highly recommend you go and try it out if you're looking for something different, and engaging, in terms of high intensity interval training.

This is a great program and the team of instructors are very encouraging no matter what level you are at, Just Keep Moving. I started off doing Kickboxing and Combat Training. I have progressed to the Foundations 2 class. Doing Resets and using my own weight along with kettle bells and ropes, I am seeing results. At no other time in my life has a formal workout routine worked for me. The class sessions keep me honest about attending each week. I quit drinking alcohol until I reach my goal and have adjusted my diet. In the past month I have seen 20 lbs disappear and muscle growth thanks to OPT. Check out OPT. They are a great group.

I've tried pretty much every barre studio in the triangle (as well as most yoga and pilates places), and CB&C is definitely my favorite. The instructors are all wonderful and provide a lot of adjustments and corrections to make sure you get the most out of your workout. They really focus on form and helping you to do the movements correctly, which makes a huge difference in the effectiveness of the classes. The classes here go by fast but manage to work all of my muscle groups in a way I haven't experienced from any other barre classes. I've had more significant improvements in muscle tone, strength, and flexibility here than when I was going to classes elsewhere. The other students are always friendly and overall the atmosphere is less intimidating than at other fitness studios.

If you stop attending Burn Boot Camp, do not assume that your membership will end simply because you are no longer using the facility. Pay very close attention to the renewal and cancellation provisions in the contract and make sure you cancel in writing. In my experience, billing continued even though I had stopped attending, and my membership was renewed without me receiving the advance notice I expected. That was particularly disappointing because the actual training experience and community were very positive. My recommendation to Burn Boot Camp is simple: make renewals and cancellation requirements extremely clear and proactively notify members before renewing their memberships. Customers should not discover months later that they have continued to be charged for a service they are no longer using. Great trainers and a great community, but the billing and renewal experience significantly affected my overall impression.

The instructor did a great job of first stretching us, then explaining/demonstrating a move and giving us an opportunity to practice. I liked how each move built on the next one. I had zero experience and I was successful with most of the moves! It's nice that it's a small class so that the instructor can walk around and give tips to the students. The receptionist shared they just moved into a new space and it has been repainted with more going up on the walls soon. It looked good to me already. I appreciated all the mats and beautiful, clean space to exercise in...Lots of fun, I recommend you give it a try!
