I am 78 years old. I started Barre classes in Colorado about 8 years ago. My husband passed away last year after I had 3 strokes. I moved to Bellevue to live with a son and I started Barre classes in Newcastle right away, as it seemed so essential that I keep them up. Even if I can't always do everything the instructors do, it helps so much to try my best. I had a shoulder injury last month that forced me to take a break, so I am doing rehab for a couple of months now. I really miss my Barre classes. All of the instructors are exceptional, and the atmosphere is very friendly. I am anxious to return to Barre. I highly recommend this studio!! read more

I was excited to try a free intro class at Pure Barre with a friend, but unfortunately, our experience was really disappointing. We drove 40 minutes to get there, arrived early, filled out all the forms, and even had a friendly 20-minute conversation with the instructor. Just two minutes before class started, we were told we couldn't participate because we're out-of-state students. This policy wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website when we signed up. The instructor was aware we had driven quite a distance to be there, but we were still asked to leave right before the class began. The studio itself seemed clean and welcoming, and the instructor was kind up until that point--but the lack of transparency and consideration left a bad impression. I hope they make this policy clearer online, so others don't have to go through a similar situation. read more

PB is low impact workout yet a full body workout that is always challenging & sculpts my body! I'm addicted! Teachers here are the best!

I took a class with Maddy V- she was amazing!! The other staff were very welcoming and helped me get aquatinted with the studio. This was my first workout in awhile and it was a wonderful experience. From the playlist, to Maddy's upbeat & encouraging energy, and helping me correct my movements when they were a bit off... My physical therapist recommended I go to barre for low impact exercises that won't hurt my knees (and will actually strengthen them), as my knees hurt during most workouts (and do not strengthen them). I am glad I have found a workout that doesn't hurt my knees when being very careful. Additionally, the workouts are really challenging every single time, which is amazing. I workout a lot and workouts that become easy after a month or two get boring for me and I usually quit for another workout or studio, but I've been going for almost 3 months and I still get an amazing workout that's equally as challenging as my first class. The studio is super clean, and the women who work there are extremely nice and encouraging and truly make me feel happy to be a member. Parking is also easy and free! Hard to find in Bellevue/Seattle. So definitely a great perk. I recommend this studio to all of my friends. read more

I started coming to this studio off and on since Aug 2020. They certainly make it difficult for you to cancel your membership. This last Jan 2023, I made it clear that I only wanted a 3-month commitment. By the second month, I notified Ally via email that I'll need to pause and she said there is a $25 charge to freeze my account. Fine. I finished my 3 month commitment. I haven't gone back since Feb 2023. Auto payment continued to be taken out of my bank account and the last charge was July 12th. I sent an email July 15th to cancel my auto-payment, got a response from Ally July 17th stating I need to sign a cancellation notification electronically. Then proceeded to tell me that my account will be charged again for one more month since they require a full 30-day cancellation. I am not on contract, I am on a month-to-month basis. Be warned. This studio is all about $$$ rather than preserving a good relationship with you. read more

Pure Barre - Barre Classes Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I've been an on-and-off pure barre member for about 6 years now. I enjoy the classes and typically visit the Bellevue studio once per week. The class itself is ~5 minutes of warm up, ~40 minutes of high intensity low impact workout, and ~5 minutes stretch and cool down. I've had a few different instructors at this location and I liked them all, they give helpful corrections and teach a very energetic and upbeat class. As such, I choose my classes based on times that work for me rather than looking for a specific teacher. Parking at this location is super easy! There's a parking structure right across from Elements with 3-hour spots so I've never had trouble finding a parking spot, even during peak hours. Two things I would note: There is no bathroom at this location but the staff will give you the code to the Elements public bathroom if you ask. There's a small changing room inside Pure Barre but I would recommend using the main bathroom unless you're okay waiting. Also, there is no water fountain (I've been told they are installing one soon) so make sure you come with a full water bottle or purchase one inside the studio. read more

I have been going to Pure Barre for over thirteen years. It is always challenging and every class is different. They offer five different classes: Classic, Empower, Reform, Align and Define. The last two are the most recent options. Not only are the various class options all challenging in their own way, they all offer incredible results. I recommend trying all the classes and you will definitely find your favorite, but all of them are amazing. The instructor will provide modifications if you let them know about any injuries you have. They take the time to learn and say your name as they encourage and push you throughout the 55 minute workout. Try it out, once you get into it and start taking class regularly, you will see your body change every class. The workouts sculpt and form your muscles, you will be amazed at the results! read more

I love love love Pure Barre. I typically visit the Redmond location because it's near my work, but I decided to venture out and visit the Bellevue location. Pure Barre Bellevue is located in the Elements building off of 112th. It's in the building right next to Lunchbox Laboratory. It's a little smaller than the Redmond location. There's only one dressing room, and the restroom is shared with the other vendors, so you'll have to exit Pure Barre, go downstairs, and enter in the bathroom code to access it (but it's a lovely restroom). There's lots of merchandise for sale, water bottles, a bench, and lockers where you create your own passcode. The class has the same setup as the other Barre locations and props. I actually like the bar itself in the room better than the Redmond one. Next time I go to the Redmond location, I'll have to compare the feel, but the Bellevue bar felt a lot smoother. The room seems a little smaller, which could be because there isn't natural light--except through the front door. I'll probably visit this location again if I find myself closer to it than Redmond. Sami is the owner, and she's great. If you're thinking about trying a class, I'd highly recommend signing up for your first one with her. All the other instructors are great too, though! read more

I wanted to try a class while I'm looking for an apartment; I like to move as close to a good fitness studio as I can. It makes the fitness lifestyle I most want accessible, and that improves my whole life. They canceled my trial class because I didn't already live in the same location as the studio. They said I could pay $35 for a class and then, if I did get a membership or class pack, I could get it credited back. They weren't interested in working with me to see if their studio might be a long-term fit, they were interested in grabbing $35. I can't imagine it's worth dealing with that kind of value system when it comes to, say, renewal issues, etc. Also, I'm a new mom; I had to have an eight-SMS exchange to get to that ridiculous "offer" to pay for a full price class so that, if I might like it enough to buy a lot more classes, I'll get a refund. When I wrote to their competitors and explained the same circumstances of location, etc, I added that I didn't have time for an SMS relationship before the trial class. They said, "No problem, choose a class that works for you. And congratulations on being a new mom! You're awesome and you got this." That's the kind of community I'm looking for. This experience spoiled not only the studio I wanted to try, but the whole brand, regardless of where I end up living. read more

I was a bit hesitant to try Pure Barre as I'm not very flexible... Fortunately all the instructors are encouraging and walk around to help with adjustments. Hannah is especially lively, fun and inspiring. I really like the focus on the core and using small contractions to work on every part of the body! I continue to feel the burn all day long. I have always considered myself to be a fairly active person, and I have tried every trendy workout class you can think of (soul cycle, OT, Core Power yoga, etc.) And let me tell you I was SHOCKED how out of shape I felt after my first class at PB Bellevue (in a good way!) This class kicks your booty, I love that it's high-intensity yet low-impact for my knees/joints and it really does give you a full-body workout. Plus you don't come out looking like a sweaty tomato, so you can still run errands and go out in public after class. Great for all ages and all fitness levels. Barre barre! Barre is the word!!! How fun is pure barre?!! Pretty darn fun!! I've done barre3, bar method, daily bar, fly barre and pure barre! I still do them all. But pure barre is my absolutely favorite. And mainly for one teacher: Hannah!! Pros: this building is cool with parking and all!! They also have water bottles here for you. But it's on a smaller side. No bathrooms in the barre itself but you can walk to the building and go downstairs. They do have a changing room though. Class: I love Hannah's classes. I usually come for lunch time aka the nooners class and it is almost always full. And fun! Not to mention challenging! Just when you think you got it all, you don't! She add new stuffs! Ab days are crazy fun! I love it! You come, you move to the crazy hip hop beats, you shake, you sweat, you die! And you leave happy!! The energy in the class can lift you up even on an 18 degrees day filled with snow and rain!! Afterwards: head next door to French bakery for some pastries! Cause why not!!! :)) read more

This is my favorite Pure Barre studio! I am so glad I decided to (finally) check out their classes when I joined fitmob (now part of Classpass) last February. Hannah Tripp, the instructor of my first class, is awesome and was really great at helping me figure out what the terms meant. That first class (and quite a few since) kicked my butt and I love their convenient location, so this is the studio I usually go to when I want to take a Pure Barre class. I'm pretty sure I'm approaching 50 classes at this point (some were taken at PB Capitol Hill and PB Redmond). One of my favorite things about Pure Barre is that they have an outline for their classes. I love that I can show up and know what to expect, even though I don't know which specific exercises they're going to have us do. I do like that some of the exercises are present in every class, though. I really want to get to the point where I can be on my toes for the whole plank (& push ups) section! Note on adjustments - the teachers do frequently walk around and adjust/correct your pose or what you're doing. I love it when they adjust/help me because I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing and also avoiding weird little things that might result in injury. I've heard that some fitness studio teachers call you out over the mic when they do this, and I thankfully haven't had that happen at Pure Barre. Their mic comments are normally either positive comments with a name attached or a reminder/suggestion addressed to the whole class. The other thing I love is that one of their favorite motivational phrases is something like "You can do this. You are stronger than you think." It's useful to hear during class and useful to remember when someone tells me they don't like barre because they don't like fitness classes that try to motivate you with words like "get that bikini body!!!! torch those calories!!!!" Other studio stuff- + They only have one changing room so it may be a good idea to change before you show up. I rarely have time to and it hasn't been a problem yet, but it's still a good idea to change early if you can. + The bathroom is on the lower floor of the main building, so you have to leave the studio, enter the main building, and head downstairs. The bathroom code is written on a little piece of paper that's usually taped to the Pure Barre door. + They really want you to wear sticky socks (no slipping!) and have sticky socks available for sale at the studio (about $12 each). I sometimes just wear normal short socks and don't have problems, but I hear the sticky socks make a difference to plenty of people (slip vs no slip). They really don't want people going barefoot. + Make sure you get there on time (or a little early). I believe the company policy is that they don't let anyone in to class if they're 10+ minutes late. I've had a few "life happens" days and while it normally somehow works out, one time they asked me to come back for the next class (which was amazing because I signed up for class via fitmob/Classpass and would have gotten a no-show fee). + They usually have a lot of cute things ($$-$$$) in their retail area. Alright - this is my 3rd "barre" place that I've tried! Pretty much hit them all and this is unfortunately my least favorite of the 3. Although, it's still decent! It's located in a complex which makes it hard to find and as long as you can bring yourself to to go there without stopping by The French Bakery next door, then your efforts will be rewarded. The studio itself is fairly small - I can't forsee them having more than 10 students in a class without it getting too crowded. The studio is unfortunately carpetted, which I am not a huge fan of and the class intensity itself is probably in between The Bar Method (intense) and Barre3 (less intense). The class was pretty fast-paced and it was hard to keep up as a newbie. Oh, and we had to wipe down our own mats (not that it's not expected but when I went to Barre3, they cleaned them off for us so I got a lil' spoiled). I just wished they had better class times that would be more convenient after work (i.e. 4:30 or 5pm class) and that they were a little bit more affordable as well. read more

Bellevue PB is top notch!. The instructors, front desk staff and owners are all so nice and so caring. Instructors keep an eagle eye out on all participants to be sure we are executing the exercises correctly in order to get the maximum benefits with injury. They offer fun workshops as well, along with a newer, aerobic-intense class called Platform (think Step class from the early 2000s). High energy, calorie burning and tons of FUN! The location is right in upper DT Bellevue, just off the 405, making it convenient to access by car (or in my case - by foot!). Tons of free parking too. Pure Barre is an amazingly intense but low impact work out. But that's not even my favorite part. Every class is unique, fast paced, and targets every major muscle group (core, legs, arms, and more!). Classes are structured to hit each group but using a variety of moves which are different each time. You're never left feeling that you're doing the same thing everyday. In fact the only thing you'll feel is the burn after class! If you're a newbie, don't sweat it. All of the instructors are very encouraging and hands on with the adjustments. You'll feel lost at first but it's okay. Just keep on tucking (lol). My only complaint is that there is only one changing room (with a curtain) and you'll have to use the plaza's public restroom. So you'll have to arrive ready to go. Other PB locations have both amenities, but it's a small detail. read more

I've been a PB devotee for over 5 years and counting. Before I discovered PB, I never stuck to a workout for more than 6 months. Needless to say, I was hooked from the very first class. PB technique is low impact yet super effective and that's why I keep coming back. They have three different types of class: PB classic ( good for strengthening), Pure Empower ( cardio!) and Pure Reform( strength and balance) but all three will give you a great full body workout. Another thing that I like? All equipments are provided. All you need to bring is yourself, a pair of sticky socks ( they sell them at the studio) and a bottle of water. All the teachers and the staff at the Bellevue studio are so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and always so encouraging. The owner, Sami, is super amazing and very well respected in the Pure Barre community (and her classes are RAD). read more

Took a class here for the first time using ClassPass. I had been the Redmond Pure Barre location before so I generally expected the service and care to be at the same caliber, but it unfortunately was not. When I entered, the two people working at the front desk were chatting with another client and did not acknowledge me at all. I slowly had to inch closer and closer until one of them broke away from the conversation to ask me for my name. They had me fill out a waiver on the iPad, but when I handed the iPad back, the employee took the iPad, turned away, and didn't say another word to me. I stood there for a few moments and then had to ask if there was anything else I needed to do to check in. They responded with a brief "no". I went to put on my socks and then went back to the desk to ask what props I needed. The employees told me to just enter the room and then they would come in and help. I stepped in and found an open space and started stretching. One minute before class started, no one had come by to let me know what props to grab, so I had to ask the other students in the class with me to help get set up. I got a great workout, but felt pretty disregarded as a student. read more

I've now been a Pure Barre devotee for a year and WOW. I think that this is the longest I've ever stuck with a regular exercise routine. I usually get bored or injured and ditch everything for a while, then pick up something new, and repeat the process. Neither of those things happened with Pure Barre. I think that one of the things that also made it much easier to maintain attendance is how friendly everyone is! The instructors call people out by name with encouragement, and even when I just can't do something well on a particular day, I never feel like a failure. Seeing other people working hard, with a positive attitude (and a grimace of the BARRE BURN, of course) really helps, too. We're all LTB'ing together, acutely aware of our thigh muscles. Every time I see my body in the mirror now, I think of how happy I am with it. It feels strong and looks good! Even in changing rooms at Nordstrom, I don't really feel that I look like a bloated corpse of Jabba The Hutt. Those changing rooms are boss level when it comes to inducing feelings of body insecurity. I know you know what I mean. Here's to continuing my Pure Barre journey, for as long as life circumstances make it possible. read more

Having now tried other Barre studios (and approaches), I finally feel like I can write a well informed review. Here are the things I appreciate the most about Pure Barre: 1. Clean studio. I really like the idea of carpeted floor and anti-slip socks. No windows to distract you and the lighting is pleasant. 2. Ample availability of class times - whether it's very early in the morning or later in the evening. 3. Consistency of workouts between the instructors. Although each instructor is a little different, you still know what to expect. Which means you won't be surprised by a cardio and burpee nut, which is something I've experienced at other studios. 4. It's challenging. When I first started I had to take breaks or modify, which is fine. Now that I'm getting a hang of it I still find myself tired by the end....yay! 5. Lockers with individual combos to securely store your stuff. I agree with some of the prior reviews that some of the front desk staff could be more friendly. I wouldn't classify them as "rude" but it's rare to find one that is bubbly or extra welcoming. Also, be sure to read about Pure Barre and check out their website to keep up with lingo they use during class. Classes are pretty fast paced so being a little bit more prepared will help you follow along with less confusion :). read more

So glad I made my way over here! An amazing spend of an hour of your day! The instructors that I have encountered thus far are appropriately encouraging - they push you to do better without making it impossible for you. You will feel the effects of class and you will see the effects of class! Things I wish I had known before I visited the first time: there is consistently traffic around the studio; allow a few extra min to account for this. Parking is easily available right below the building where the studio is located. It took me a few min to find parking the first time I visited, so plan to allow another few min for this if you haven't been here before. Other than that, the initial instructional provides a breakdown of class and it takes a few classes to get the hang of it but with the music going, you don't even realize where the time goes! If you are looking for low-impact, fun yet effective classes that allow you to de-stress, these are the ones to try! read more

Just tried my first ever Barre class at Pure Barre in Bellevue. The studio itself is small, there's reception and the studio. My class seemed to be at max capacity, it was a bit crowded and people were looking for spots to sit. As a beginner, it was pretty hard to follow along. The class itself wasn't too hard, but knowing what to do and getting the right movements was tough. The instructor didn't demonstrate poses so you just have to look around the class to see what's happening. There is also a lot of terminology you should know to fully understand the movements. The instructor was talking through a lot most of the time, however it was extremely fast paced and muffled over the music. Overall I enjoyed the class, I just would recommend starting with a foundations class before diving into a regular class. Also, they recommend grip socks for the class, but these cost $15. You can definitely get through with regular socks for the first class but it is a bit more of a struggle due to the carpeted floor. read more

I love Pure Barre! I discovered it back in 2011 and now there's two other locations open in Seattle including one near the U Village and the latest studio opened on Queen Anne. What is Pure Barre? It's a fusion of pilates, yoga and ballet. It's a full body work out that helps strengthen your legs, arms and core. What to wear to class? Yoga attire that covers your midsection & non-skid socks. All of the instructors are well-trained before they can teach a class, but I do have my favorites who I take class with depending on when they teach. The instructors play motivational music and come around and gently correct you so your form is right (to prevent injury and get the most effect out of each of the movements). They're very kind, none threatening and don't make you feel foolish for doing a move incorrectly. Even after a couple of years, I am still interested (not bored) and haven't moved on to another type of workout class that is maybe hot at the moment. I've even gotten a few friends interested in PB and they do it regularly now. You can definitely see results if you go at least 2-3 days a week, if not more. I like to mix it up with other workouts (running, swimming, cycling, etc.), but some ladies do strictly PB. If you go to class and see some of the regulars who have been doing it for a few years you can see PB has been effective. The ladies aren't buff. They're lean, toned, slim & strong. Not to mention proportioned. There are ladies of all shapes and sizes and ages, which is super cool because I see ladies in their 50s and 60s fit -- which is so inspiring! There's sometimes a few men, not many and not very often that do PB. There's just a lot of flexibility that goes into play and that's just not something men are naturally good at unless they work on it. When I miss classes for one reason or another and don't go for a week or so, I can feel the difference when I return. It's so hard and challenging! The thing about this exercise is you can work as hard and as little as you want depending on the results you want. There's no heavy weights or lifting -- some light weights and mainly your own body strength. It's safe and effective, which is part of the reason I have stuck with it. There's a lot of exercises you can do that can cause injury, but this isn't one of them... at least not from my own experience. I haven't been going as often as I'd like to recently, but last year I would go about 3-4 days a week while I was training for the Seattle to Portland bike ride & it really helped strengthen my body. PB helped in giving me more endurance to cycling further in distance. If it's your first time taking a class, try to sign up for Sami's class (she's the owner) and you'll get a feel of Pure Barre in full force. Sign up online or call the studio in advance because her classes always get filled quick. Even the waiting list more than always fill up. Some other tips in addition to what I've listed in my previous review is... make sure you're fueled before class. You're going to need it. Banana for potassium to help with the shaking in your legs because you will feel shaking! Each location has parking garages with plenty of space. LIFT TONE BURN! If you're skeptical and/or just curious to see how the class/movements work, you can also just go to youtube to check out the demonstrations. There's plenty of them online. If you've done any research on the Pure Barre franchise you've probably heard the claim that it only takes 10 visits to a class to see results. As a result, I waited until I had completed my tenth class (today! woohoo!) to write this review. Disclaimer: I am a not-skinny lady. By some measures you could say I'm fat or curvy or whatever. Either way, I am not what you'd think you would see at a ballet barre. Also? I'm out of shape. But I had heard many fitness-enthusiastic, in-shape people tell me that barre is one of the most intense and rewarding exercises they've tried. Sounded good to me! This location is a few blocks from my office, has free parking, and the class schedule works well for me. The instructors are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. Some of the instructors have learned my name and use it during class to affirm that I'm doing the right thing, and they always come around to adjust you if necessary. They're also fabulous at talking you through every routine and reminding you that you're going to be done soon, to really push yourself harder, and to close your eyes and just do it. Also, the other students are super chill and eager and friendly (though I wouldn't say it's an environment that really encourages much socialization). I never feel self-conscious even though I'm one of the larger people in the room. The workout itself is great - I love that it's really intense, fast paced, and regimented. Every class you do the same order of things (arms, thighs, seat, abs, back) but the things within each body area varies from instructor to instructor. I like that you know that no matter how much one part of your body hurts, you'll be done with it in a few minutes and move on to another body part. I like that it's more about weight-bearing muscle work rather than cardio, because cardio makes my heart rate rise to a point where I feel panic-attacky. I like that at the end of the session, everything hurts but I somehow have an energy boost. Note: I have NEVER EVER EVER experienced that energy boost, runner's high, happy adrenaline feeling that most fitness people talk about. Until Pure Barre anyway. I feel a huge improvement in my strength after just 10 classes. As an example, during my first class I couldn't hold plank pose for more than 10 seconds at a time, and now I can hold it easily during the entire plank portion of the upper body workout. I can also see a difference in terms of muscle toning and (some) fat loss throughout my body. It's going to take me many more classes to be not-fat but I don't mind because I truly enjoy going and feel rewarded every time. read more

All the instructors are amazing and help you with form. Every time I work out here I get a very intense workout which is exactly what I'm looking for. The instructors are motivating yet challenge you at the same time. The hour flies by because you're constantly changing movements and form. It's clean and they have a changing room as well. Sometimes I can get a little loud but they have earplugs you can have. You work out to upbeat music in a class setting. All of the workouts are full body. What I appreciate most about Pure Barre Bellevue is the consistency of phenomenal instructors. I know going into each class it's going to be different and challenging. read more

I tried out the barre fitness method for the first time tonight- this location opened up in the same building i live in, and they are offering free first sessions, so I gave it a shot. I had forgotten how out of shape I was! Within the first 5-10 minutes of the hour-long workout, I was already finding myself wanting to give up. Nonetheless, I managed to get through the whole thing (whilst taking my own little mini breaks and working out at my own pace, of course), and boy was it a good workout. I'm looking forward to the oh-so-good-after-great-workout-aches tomorrow. Katie was my instructor tonight, and there were maybe 8-9 in the class tonight. Many of them appeared to be regulars- knowing which move was coming up next, and having little difficulty with the workout, but they obviously enjoyed it, and I really liked Katie. I also liked her personal bio (on the website) which is why I chose to workout with her. Great full-body work out, low impact, no crazy trainer yelling in your ear, but just enough encouragement and support. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and I hope I force myself to go back on a regular basis! read more

I went to my first class yesterday morning with a friend and it kicked my butt. After doing cross fit for the past month, I thought PB wouldn't be too difficult, but I was wrong! It was a fun, challenging workout and I am excited to go back. Maybe next time I won't look as awkward! Also, the instructor, Mary, was friendly and I received a prompt reply when I had emailed this morning with a question about their different packages. read more

I started taking classes at Pure Barre 3 months ago and I love it. The parking is free and easy and the facility is really nice. The staff is friendly and greet me by name most of the time and I am impressed with how quickly the instructors learned my name too. The first class was very challenging for me and I could hardly get through it. It didn't take long to start seeing results and that was really motivating to keep me going 3 times a week. Now I am so much stronger and toned, it is amazing. I still can't do the full body push ups all the way through but I am making more progress all the time. I have scoliosis and have found that some some intense workout classes really hurt my neck and back. After 3 months of Pure Barre, I feel great with no pain anywhere. There's just a sense of feeling tighter and stronger and who wouldn't like that? I just had an exam with my chiropractor and one of the tests he runs is a scan of my spine which measures for nerve impulse blockages. I usually have several which show up in bars of red and green. As he was running the test, I watched the screen which was displaying all white bars - no red or green problem areas. I asked him when the colors were going to fill in the boxes. He said that I had no nerve impulse blockages and he attributed it to my workouts at Pure Barre. I think that's pretty amazing. read more

I am so excited the Pure Barre has finally come to the NW! I have been active all of my life and I've never found a workout that is more effective and rewarding than the Pure Barre Method....I'm addicted! I've been to various studios across the West Coast and the Bellevue location is absolutely gorgeous! All of the teachers are extremely encouraging and really know how to push me to my edge all while giving me gentle "cues" throughout class. Not to mention, the MUSIC! I absolutely LOVE the songs they play throughout class and I always find myself asking the instructors the title of certain tracks.... Long story short, Pure Barre is a method that I plan to incorporate into my weekly workout routine for years to come....it's fast, fun, and best of all, I feel great! Definitely worth trying whether you're new to working out or a veteran of fitness classes. read more

Love the staff and classes here. Instructors are pretty good and care about the students. I appreciate them taking the time to make sure I am doing the class correctly. And the music selection is pretty hip and up to date. The online class registration is very convenient. I love being able to view the availability and instructor for the day. And being able to track previous classes taken. The merchandise area has good selection of apparel. Sometimes there are pretty good deals! And when you are done with class, you can grab an iced coffee at the next door bakery. Parking is ample and I never have a problem finding a spot. All in all, I highly recommend this location. read more

Pure Barre kicked my butt like nothing else! I tried it for the first time last week and my butt, my core, and my thighs are still sore. Is that normal??? I guess it is if you haven't used those small muscles up and down and left and right a thousand times in one hour! I must say, i thought I was in shape before I tried this. Now I have to think again if others give me compliments. The location is pretty convenient and there is usually plenty of parking in the garage. The room is heated but not super warm. For those who get cold easily, they might want to consider getting long sleeves on as it starts to get cooler outside. I might not have sweated a whole lot from the class, but I think I burned more calories than I did with a hot yoga class I did earlier last week. This place makes you work and the instructors know how to push and motivate you so you just keep going and don't give up, even though every ounce of your body is ready to go home to sleep on the couch. I wish the prices were a little more affordable (hence the 4 star, and not 5). Not sure if I will buy a package, but it was nevertheless a great experience. read more

I'm still loving this place! Your first time's free, so I've been forcing my friends to come work out with me here (usually it's a love/hate relationship with the first class). The moves are all low-impact and high-result. My physical therapist actually recommended I keep doing their classes after an injury, and many of the moves are part of my daily PT practice (the back strengthening ones, especially). Yes, everyone is in lululemon from head to toe, but who cares? The classes are fantastic and the instructors couldn't be friendlier. My new favorites are Cherise and Fawn! Sami is, of course, fantastic, but her classes are tough to get into, so sign up early! PS: get there early for a good parking spot and to check in at the desk.
