I absolutely love this studio! I try to attend classes at least 4 times a week, and after just one month I can already see and feel real results. I feel stronger, more energetic, and I have even lost a little weight (miracles do happen, apparently). I've tried classes with all the instructors, and every one of them is fantastic. The workouts are very well balanced and thoughtfully structured - each class combines cardio, strength training, stretching, and static exercises, so your whole body gets attention instead of just one confused muscle group. The time flies by incredibly fast, and I always leave in a much better mood than when I arrived. I attended the strength class via ClassPass and really enjoyed my class here. The studio has a decent size locker room, lockers, showers, etc. The room itself for exercise is also a great size. Elizabeth is an awesome instructor. I've never been to a Barre class but her directions and modifications for my lower back pain made the class super enjoyable and accessible. I really like the vibe. Finishing off the workout with the breathing exercises was also really awesome. My markdown for the star is because when you try to call the number to cancel a class or have questions, no one picks up. Also the studio is only open when class is in session. My first time going to the Bellevue studio, I wanted to check it out and ask questions but it was closed. Other than the phone service, I think this is a great place to get in a workout! I used to be really active prior to COVID, and this year I was hoping to get back into exercise with the goal of having a healthier lifestyle -- but the issue was, I always got bored and unmotivated with gym workouts. Enter barre3! I tested out a wide variety of exercise options in the area for around a month and a half, and at the end of it all, barre3 was the one I enjoyed the most. I've been going there regularly ever since, and would 100% recommend it. The instructors are really supportive and encouraging. I'm the type of person that wants correction on my form, and after mentioning that to an instructor or two, they're super helpful with giving me extra pointers during class. (If that's not your thing, though, I noticed they have some yellow wristbands you can wear during class in a jar labelled "No hands-on correction," so they'll know you prefer your physical space!) The workouts kick my butt, but I can definitely feel myself getting stronger week by week. Definitely give it a try :) read more

The classes are mostly pretty good, but it really depends on the teacher. There is at least one teacher I wouldn't take classes from again. I noticed that most of the teachers do not do corrections so a lot of people who seem new to barre are clearly doing the wrong thing and I would worry they could get injured. Front desk staff is uniformly pretty friendly and helpful. The studio is fairly clean, but you can see a lot of dust in on the ceiling fixtures (which you can see when doing floor workout). Pricing for classes is about average to other similar studios (less expensive than Pure Barre). It's annoying and distracting that people often leave classes early (from 5 minutes to 15 minutes). And unlike most of the other exercise studios I've been to (Orange Theory, Pure Barre, F45), they allow cell phones in the studio so people check their phones during class. I would recommend other workouts and studios over this one. read more

I've just attended 5 classes at Barre3 and the experience has been amazing. The instructors Trina and Bo are always full of positive energy and their classes are fun to go to. The classroom is also beautiful as it faces a big meadow next to the library. Plus, the studio offers water bottle and mats to use, which makes it super convenient if you just decide to pop up last minute. I practiced yoga for about 12 years. But after giving birth to my child, I started loosing muscle. Barre becomes my new favorite as there are weight training elements and it has cardio to pump up the heart as well. read more

I LOVE barre 3 bellevue. If you're looking for an upbeat motivating workout family this is it. Their ballet, yoga, pilates style fusion workout with motivating mixes will help you get excited about working out! I chanced upon barre 3 when my local barre studio closed due to corona. Previously, I had enjoyed the alignment and stretching barre had added, but barre 3 also adds lots of movement and cardio in addition to core and alignment. I have taken 15 classes so far since the start of corona and especially love classes with Patty and Bo. They carefully choreograph fabulous hits to go with your moves and motivate you to push your body to the limits for self improvement. As with all classes they carefully reposition you to ensure you are working out the right muscles without damaging your body. I have also found all the instructors to be positive, upbeat and motivational. Corona changes: the classes are much smaller with more space between individuals. Masks are required, but not for those fully vaccinated. There are cleaning products before and after class for your use. In summary, if you are trying home workouts still and finding halfway through there's no motivation and you end up drinking a juice and watching the rest, this is the solution you've been looking for. If you are just looking for a motivational workout, I would also recommend this for you. Once you get your sweats on and head over you'll never look back. I have been doing barre since last October and the result turns out pretty well so far! They have two locations which are Kirkland and Bellevue. I am going to both locations just depends on my schedule but both locations are great! I have improved my balance, built strength, made I feel more flexible! The staff is also super friendly! I have attended to Ana, Hannah, Elizabeth, Lauren, Amber and Patty's class. All the instructors are always happy to help their students to get better. Lauren, Patty and Elizabeth are my favorite! I love barre3 Bellevue! I have been practicing barre3 since 2017 and have practiced at several studios in the Seattle area. They're all wonderful but I do think that Bellevue has some of the most challenging instructors I've had, and I mean that in a good way. I come out of each class feeling like I had a fantastic workout but never pushed to do anything that didn't feel good, because the instructors are also super supportive and offer lots of modifications. I have taken six Barre3 classes so far. It feels more like a cardio and HIIT workout compared to other typical barre classes, but I have really enjoyed Barre3! (I receive a promotion for this post, but I gave it five stars even without it.) What I liked so far: - The studio and the restroom are very clean. - Most of the instructors were friendly and motivating. I appreciate that they correct my form during the workout to help me achieve better results. It's great that they offer modifications to challenge ourselves. - I particularly enjoyed the 45-minute classes during lunchtime. It's efficient to be able to work out even on busy days. What I wish they had: - I would like to see more 45-minute lunchtime classes available. - I prefer smaller class sizes so that I can move around and check my form in the mirror more easily when the class gets crowded. - I also wish there were more exercises focused on abs, back, and arms since the classes tend to primarily focus on glutes and legs. I took classes with four different instructors, and they were all welcoming, energetic, and skilled at keeping us engaged and pushing us to improve. The class size is just right--not too crowded, providing enough space to move comfortably, yet with a good number of participants to create a positive group dynamic. Barre barre barre! Baree is the word!! It's no secret that I'm a major barre fan! Barre3 especially! I've done almost all the studios in the area a few too many times. Kirkland being my goto and capitol hill being my favorite! This studio is the one I frequent less. Not sure why! They have a parking garage! Its a hit or miss though. Come early for that spot. Outside street parking is nonexistent! it's always busy!! The studio itself is probably the most open, brightest and all! I like it! Minus the fact that when I'm all up on the bar against the glass wall and can see people walking by me from outside so close! Kids, dogs, random dude with a dog that passed by 6 times in 5 minutes! I saw you even though I was upside down! I guess you can't have it all! Currently, (and the past couple of weeks), the studio is not in service. They had a flood and had to cancel all the classes. I'm impress by their dedication though! They keep you updated on the conditions! Also added extra classes in other studios to make it up! Also gave the members barre3live online session for free! Yey! Overall, I like this place! Most noon classes are almost always booked! And you will have people walking by you at your most awkward physical positions! But you wont leave unhappy!
