    FYI.... ‍
    Elaine C.

I finally found a yoga studio that perfectly fits my needs!! I'm obsessed with CorePower Yoga and I really look forward to all the classes! With a bit of yoga experience from school, I was still nervous about starting with a C2 class. It was the one that best fit my schedule so I went for it! It was amazing. For those who have never done yoga before, I would probably recommend taking a C1 first as they suggest. I took full advantage of the first week free and was hooked after that. Black tag member was the way to go for me! Need to go ~8x/month to make it more worth it than the class passes and I was making it there 4+ times a week (so worth it!) The class schedule is perfect for someone like me whose schedule varies week to week. I make it to whatever class I can regardless of who's teaching or what type of class it is cause they're all awesome =) I've taken C1 (great for practicing fundamentals), C2 (most consistent class I attend), C2 candlelight (so cool!!), hot power fusion (love!!), and most recently yoga sculpt (so fun!!) I can't say enough great things about CorePower. Awesome teachers who always make me feel welcomed. Very clean studio (I always take showers there after class). Easy parking, tickets validated. I have found my happy place =)

I've been taking a couple of classes through ClassPass for the past few months. So far, I've taken the sculpt, hot power fusion and yoga 2. They are all great classes, but yoga sculpt reminds me more of a Boot Camp style class instead of a yoga class. They are all hot classes, so bring your towel and an insulated water bottle. There is a great water bottle refill station in case you forgot to fill your bottle before leaving the house. The studio room is clean, locker rooms and bathrooms are always clean and well taken care of. Come early! There has been a lot of construction near this studio. Also, there is usually one person at the desk checking people in and that same person is the instructor for the class. They most likely won't be able to Che k you in if they're in the middle of a class. There is a parking garage to park in and it seems like the gym next door tickets those that park and go to Corepower yoga.

Lobby entrance with a good selection of yoga wear.

I've gone to many yoga studios around the area and this is one I settled on. It is clean and comfortable. Tempure is warm but not unbearable. Staff members and teachers are friendly and nice. The environment and people are easygoing and not intimidating. I woild recommend this yoga studio to yogis of all levels. They offer quite a good variety of classesand schedule times.

They gave me a tour of their facilities. 4 different studios, some heated some not. Their workout room has an armory of workout equipment that is extremely impressive, and the teacher is on a podium with the days equipment already setup so you know exactly what to get. One of their studios have aqua punching bags and was quite cool. Other Pros: -The locker rooms are clean, have showers, plastic bags for wet clothes, and plenty of towels. There's also lockers all over that have free to use locks. -The schedule is packed with classes daily so you really have a bunch of options to choose from -they have multiple types of membership so you can pick what fits your motivation and the prices are actually pretty good considering the location -there's evidence of community everywhere from their giant wall sized community board at the front to just smiling faces and conversation in the back Cons: -the website kept looping me to the front page even though I was already logged in. I couldn't update my personal information and kept getting error messages when I tried to do anything. -This is one of those places where the low pricing is mitigated by having hidden fees and confusing legal text. There's a fine for signing up for a class and not showing up or canceling with 4 hours of start time. The punch cards are also time limited. The signup for a membership has you sign a waiver that says you're responsible for canceling it 30 days in advance and you will still be charged an additional month. I get it, but it leaves a sour taste. Just be diligent with your plans and you can take advantage of a truly awesome gym.

This was a level 2 class. Drop in daily nonmember prices are: $24, or 60 day 5 class pass for $110…read more The only reason I did not give this place a 5 star rating is that there was not enough of a warm up in the beginning, for my daughter who has trouble stretching; I did not have any problems personally. But the teacher, John, was awesome as he really went in-depth and explained the physiology, via a tailored response, to form questions. He then took us through a series of poses to make sure we understood his explanations. Throughout the session he monitored and adjusted or advised and also asked permission first. He also suggested and personally brought over, supportive devices such as an extra foam pad or bolster. What I also liked is that he only spoke when he had something to offer, and not endless "ego" chatter. I have been in some classes where the instructor just likes the sound of their voice and my brain goes numb. It is also really a "YOGA" class and not yoga on high speed, steroids in a boot camp setting, where everyone is outdoing the next person in their stamina, strength and flexibility. I am grateful to find a practice that is more introspective and calm as it used to be. YAY! =-D This studio has sufficient mats, pads, blocks, bolsters etc. Very inviting, clean and neat. Good day lighting. Wood flooring. Comfortable room temperature. I hate hot yoga classes! I do not believe in them! This was perfect! Also the staff was very friendly, calm and professional. We just stopped by for one class as we do not live there. Would have taken them up on their intro special though (below); "New Student Membership - 5 classes for $50 for 14 days If you haven't already taken advantage of our New Student Special - 5 classes for $50 valid for 14 days, click here to purchase. The pass is good for all of the ongoing classes - yoga, meditation, Tune Yoga, Spa Yoga, prenatal, kids - all of them!"

I don't live in bellevue anymore and don't want to drive that far for relaxation but it really would be worth it. I have taken their begining yoga class twice now from two diferent teachers and have loved it both times. I felt relaxed durring the classes and quite energized afterwards. Their begining classes are a fabulous introduction to yoga for beginners and are reasonably priced. Their studio rooms are equipped with beautiful hardwood floors, matts, curtained space, calm lighting and suspension walls. That's actually what sold me on this place was the suspension walls. You only do it once or twice in begining yoga but actually suspending from a wall and doing asana's is amazing, it makes your entire body feel new after you are done and yes you feel good. The staff are quite friendly and more tehn willing to work with you, I had a schedule conflict with a class once and they allowed me to drop in on that class later on. I would definitely go back here if i wasn't poor right now and could find a good calming playlist for the car on the way there and back.

I took the intro class that was specially priced at $19. For an hour and a half, it was an incredible deal that I could not pass up...and it was more than worth it! There were about 18+ people in the class and we started with a warm up on the silks. Afterwards, we watched Mason and 2 other instructors demo on the rope, silks, and lyra respectively. We then learned a few things on the silks and did a quick stretch of the upper body. The verdict? The warmup is NOT a beginner warmup. There's lots of balancing of the upper body on the arms or forearms while the legs are held up by the silk apparatus. As the body is balancing, it is moving forwards, backwards, and twisting side to side. For me, the warmup was great and challenging, but I could see it being difficult for a beginner. Vivian was the instructor on the silks. I found her explanations and demonstrations thorough as I had previously learned one of the tricks at another studio but had not understood it fully until Vivian explained it another way. We were learning how to climb the silks and even though there was heavy emphasis on the use of the legs, I didn't hear any guidance about relieving any tightness in the forearms or the hands during the instruction. And in the cool down/stretching, there was no focus on these parts of the body at all. For the cool down, we paired up and all we did was twist the upper body while pulling on each others arms. Time was up but I wished that there would have been more time for more thorough stretching. Now I realize that there were a lot of people in the class and it was an intro class so I am probably calling out personal particulars, but I was really impressed with the overall vibe of the studio. I like their whole hybrid exercise modality idea. The instruction was awesome. The studio is a great space and I am especially looking forward to taking future classes in trapeze and lyra. Lastly, I find the pricing options a great value.
