LOL this was a fairly laughable experience. I had a wasp issue on my lawn so I engaged in a Purcor subscription. The gentleman on the phone who sold me the package convinced me that they would for sure get rid of the wasps AND if there was still activity, they'd come back to re-treat it for free! Great! Well, the guy came out, and he was like, "Woah... there are a lot of wasps here. You definitely have a nest." Cool... So he looked, and he couldn't find one. Then I got permission from my neighbor to each side, and he looked there and couldn't find a nest. They also don't have wasps there... So okay... So then he sprays the lawn with wasp repellent, and he said this should keep the wasps away. Literally an hour after he left, there are just as many wasps! So... then they come back for the follow-up a week later, and he's like, "Yeah... I didn't think that spray would work, but that's what we have." Then they did our interior service, and it was so lazy... I have been knocking down webs on my own over the past week or two. I finally called to cancel the service, and of course they make it pretty difficult. You can't do it online... You need to wait on hold for a while. Finally today I was able to get it canceled. And then I swear you can't make this up... like two hours after I got off the call, I got the Purcor payment confirmation! So I guess I'm STILL a subscriber. Honestly if you just need them to knock down spider webs outside or spray for mosquitos, they're probably fine, and that's a real service, but in my case, this was a failure. read more

The company confirmed an appt for Friday between 4:30-6:00 pm and was a no call no show. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt and gave them a second chance to make it right. Was told we were scheduled for today between 1-4. I called the company this morning just to confirm as was told yes, we were scheduled and the rep would be out between 1-4 pm. I decided to call and check to see why I hadn't heard from anyone and was told they would have the rep contact me. 3 minutes later I got a phone call from the rep and was told we were not scheduled for today but he was calling to get us on the schedule for tomorrow. I had previously told them there would not be anyone available to meet on tuesday. So, I call the company back again and basically was treated as if it doesn't matter that we were stood up twice. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY DON'T NEED MY BUSINESS. I do not reccomend this business. Sorry! read more

Avoid. Starting using a local service than it was bought by Purcor. Love the service technicians. However. A high time suck to deal with admin - called to cancel gopher service since they are long gone and $150/mo isn't worth it. AI initially screens calls - stated "cancel gopher service". Then get sent to a human and I have to repeat. Then get sent to another human who tries to get me to keep service or go bi-monthly. Just no. Getting the service was just as bad - AI couldn't figure out what I wanted so went through multiple humans to get the service started. Keeping other pest control for now but will move on to another service if I have to call back and deal with AI and multiple people for a simple request. read more

The customer service is awesome from the reps and the tech is a really nice person, very respectful and helpful. But the operation manager Michael Vasques, doens't know what he's doing, nor did he reads his message that the rep sent him regarding my issue. He called me to set up an appointment but didn't know why. What really angered me was that he didnt show up to his shedule appointments at my house Sat June 14th at 1000am leaving me hanging. No phone call, no reschedule, just didn't show up. As for the spray service I'm not happy with it, ants galore even though my house has been sprayed 3x. It's been 3 weeks and we still have spiders and ants. I'm not going to call them again. I'm tired of it. I think the spray they're using isn't strong enough. read more

I requested an inspection because we had an issue with maggots in the bathroom. The inspector they sent didn't have any tools or an adequate flashlight. He did almost nothing. The house has a crawlspace, and the door to it was screwed on and painted over; the inspector just stood there. So I got my drill and the tenant removed the screws and the door for me. The inspector said he couldn't go in because the opening was too small, and the tenant and I walked away in disgust. After that the inspector must have gotten down and looked in, because he showed me a very dark-looking video and said we had no termites. He didn't comment on the maggots. I called him later for an explanation and he said the homeowner is supposed to have everything open for them ahead of the visit. The office person I talked with should have told me that; I would have called someone else if they had. read more

Did a great job, friendly knowledgeable spent over an 1 hr knocking down webs a spray all over our front and back yard

This was the worst company i ever came across. they promised to come same afternoon and i requested time off from work to accommodate but then last minute they told me they can't come same day but maybe tomorrow. very upsetting because getting insect bites and it was urgent. no sympathy whatsoever. next day i myself had to call them to see when they can come and again one person said they can come and another said no can't come... maybe tomorrow or during the week... worst company. very disorganized and very expensive.... called another company that was charging only $150 to come same day with no hassle for the same service ... this company was going to charge me $400 but provided the worst service... i don't recommend ... cancelled immediately read more

I would like to recognize Greg Garcia for outstanding customer service. I have been having issues with ants. Greg came up to my house to take care of the ants in my kitchen and bathroom. Greg takes the time to assess the situation, inspect all the potential openings and then offers suggestions to get rid of the pesky critters. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He listens to my concerns. Greg is awesome! Thank you very much ! read more

Look up the recent reviews to confirm my rating. Our household was a long time client of Keystone Pest Control, before they were acquired by PURCOR and the local Hayward Branch had given and continued to give exemplary service at a fair price. However, PURCOR began a top -down approach by moving all communications to call centers outside of our local branch. As of last year, we noticed a sharp increase in prices and a decrease in communication. Critical job details were not relayed to the local branch that made scheduling difficult as well as making service temperamental at best. We faced situations such as gates being left open or technician showing up at our house without notice. Recently, regional branches gave the technician the wrong phone number! read more

The corporate makes the call to alert the customer of the upcoming service. The problem is there is no follow up with customer regarding the time they will be there. This rating has improved as the technician is reachable by phone so that service time can be narrowed down so that we can prepare for them. Our service guy is John and he communicates with us and narrows down the time when he will be there. He is a service driven person and thus a better rating than previously given. read more

We had Donovan Pest Control for years. They have been great. We never had any issues with Donovan. PURCOR bought them out a few years ago. We noticed ants trails in the front/back and a few ants infestation inside the house more often (this wasn't even during the Summer). We had them do a retouch a few time already and it doesn't seem to very effective. Overall they keep increasing the price every year but the services and results are just not the same. I would look somewhere else. read more

Told my 80 year old mother she needed to move the furniture from the walls and it would take up to 5 hours for the spray to dry. Was going to lay bait all over her house that was poisonous for animals. I specifically asked how long the spray took to dry and if it was safe for pets. The sales person said 15 minutes. No mention of having to move furniture and was told nothing about 5 hours. Called to complain about service and was told it must have been a miscommunication. Really? The miscommunication is between the sales people and the company. Really really do not recommend. read more

I have been using them since I moved to Florida 6 years ago. they are so nice, from the people in the office to the folks who come to my home. They always show up when scheduled and the will come next day if I see anything. read more

This is serious! John, You used to have a very good company and met our needs, I used your company for a long time. Now, it is hard to find the right person. The service has been ongoing since Feb. I paid a lot of money, and the tenants still complain about the rodents. I am desperate, can you , or any manager please to step in help? read more

Reached out to this company for my elderly aunt. When I originally reached out customer service and communication was good, once they got my aunts 500.00 the service went down. They didn't spray effectively, argued and went back and forth with customer about what was to be done.Ive emailed this company 2x to communicate my aunts problem is still here so what was the 500.00 for????? I do not recommend read more

I signed up for their service mainly because I couldn't deal with the spiders and their webs, both inside and outside of my house any longer. I understand that they can't control 100% of the spider population in my backyard patio, but I see much less now with bimonthly treatment. Mario is super cool and wears a mask and booties every time he comes inside the house to spray. I literally sleep better knowing that there shouldn't be any daddy long legs creeping on the walls any more. Thank you Mario and Keystone! read more

I got a one time spray around the perimeter for common pests/bugs. I asked the person to de-web inside the garage and around the perimeter of house. I didn't see him do it on the camera outside. I inspected the perimeter and inside of the garage and the big and obvious webs in the garage were still there. I was told they would de-web if I asked and it didn't happen. I'll try another service that's hopefully more reliable. For $195, I'd hope they would spend a little more time doing the job right and have more attention to detail than they actually did. read more

This company is super unorganized and has no consideration for their employees. I have tried to use this service and they did not seem to know much and were unable to answer any of my questions thoroughly. I have heard nothing but terrible things about management. If I could give them 0 stars I would, read more

When I moved into my home years ago, I had terrible ant problem. None of the home remedies or ant bait worked. I couldn't leave any trace of food or candy out. If I left for the weekend, I would come back to a trail of ants going from one side of the house to the other. I decided to sign up for the service which they come out every other month and spray the exterior of my house. 5yrs later and I'm still a customer. They're customer service is exceptional and whenever I have concerns (about other types of bugs invading my home), they make an effort to come and inspect and remedy the situation. read more

We had been using this company before when it was Keystone. The last two years were reliable but this year it's Purcor. We planned for our annual spray and this summer we have seen ants for the first time in 3 years. We were outside of the 30 day guaranteed window. And will be looking for another company for subsequent work. read more

Absolutely terrible service, total no show 2x. Then send me an invoice for their work. The customer service to totally unhelpful on resolving anything. read more

I absolutely hate spiders and we used to find a ton of large ones in the house on a regular basis. Having a bimonthly service drastically reduced the number of spiders we find in the house (I believe they also de-web each time). We've also had ant problems in the past that were handled quickly and effectively. The original pest control company I hired (Keystone Pest Control) was acquired by Donovan and then later by Purcor. I primarily stuck to the service because of convenience, but each transition has been totally seamless (zero work on my part except to create a login) and my bimonthly service was uninterrupted. Keystone was awesome and I'm glad the value of their service hasn't gone down since being acquired by a larger company. Typically they will ring the door to let us know they're here but the service is usually performed during work hours so they just do their thing and are respectful of the property. The really nice thing is that now there's an account to monitor the services and review the reports. I'm happy to keep using Purcor and would gladly recommend their services. read more

I do not recommend this company. I contacted Purcor Pest to cancel my service on August 2nd, both by phone and email. Despite this, they still sent me an invoice in September and charged me for a service that was never provided. Very disappointed with their customer service. read more

They treated my house for ants and I still have ants wandering into the house. I get lots of excuses why the technician can't do certain things but rarely what actually can be done to fix the problem. Purcor bought out Donovan's Pest Control. I LOVED Donovan's Pest Control. I used them for 20+ years. Purcor has never been able to provide the same service. And EVERY YEAR they raise their rates. Looking for another pest company. read more

Ant problem was getting out of control and decided to call Keystone and give it a try. The technician came on time, wearing mask, we chatted a bit and I showed where the ants usually appeared, and he explained and showed me the possible routes, told me he would start applying spray. 30 mins after it was done and haven't seen ants for about 25 days until some of them started showing up again. Since there is a 30-day guarantee, I waited a few more days to see if ants would leave but I started seeing more, so on the 30th day I gave Keystone a call again and they came again for service for free. It's been more than 1.5 month now and there's no ant anymore, fingers crossed, hopefully they have been forever gone! read more

Ants started raiding our house from almost all rooms. This company responded quickly and took care of all of the problem by spraying outside and inside. Wore mask and booties inside. Was very friendly! The spray they used inside was safe for my cat and toddler after it dried. Have not had an issue for 2 months. They started to emerge from a new place today they have never come in before, so I will be calling back to have them come back to spray the other rooms that were not sprayed previously. read more

Called Keystone to ask for an estimate to treat for spiders. I spoke with Tina who was very pleasant and happy to help. A few days later I called back and she had such a great memory. She helped me set up an appointment with Trevor Davis between 2pm-4pm. Trevor arrived 30 minutes early and was very helpful. He was very efficient and friendly. Looking forward to working with them again. read more

Very unprofessional. Do not respond to calls. Came out one time and set one rodent trap and charged $300. Damaged the exterior of our cottage with screens and screws without permission. My husband had to repair the damage. read more

I've used Keystone in the past for bug/ant/spider spraying around the perimeter of our home. Though the bug/ant spray has a 30-day guarantee, I found it fairly effective for most of the year. We haven't used it in longer than a year, and were having a backyard party this past weekend. I saw a crazy amount of ants in our backyard and didn't want to have them all over our guests or food. I was able to book time for last Thursday and Trevor Davis was awesome! All the previous technicians were fine, but Trevor actually came to tell me where the TWO ant colonies were and what to look for if we see ants again. He was also really friendly and personable. They're fairly common in our community but at least I know what to look for now. Thanks Keystone and Trevor! read more

We've been having them take care of our home for the better part of a decade, starting off with them dealing with a rat infestation, which they handled with pressure traps and followed up with outdoor bait stations that still sees moderate use, so we have them come by and change them once a month. It has thankfully kept our home rodent free. Of course, we also have issues with ants as, on average of once a year, they invade our back bedroom and kitchen so we call the technician into to do his yearly spray around the house and spot spray the hot spots inside. The technicians are professional, but the highlight of their service is their administrative personal who manage the scheduling with a grace and dignity I often do not find in other home services. This makes setting up new appointments a breeze, which is great as there is one less thing I have to worry about in maintaining this old home of ours. read more

I just want to say that Tony from keystone pest control did a fantastic job today and I'm very satisfied with the service, he did remove all spider webs thoroughly and spray the whole perimeter again thoroughly. thank you! read more

This review is very long overdue. They have been handling our pest problems for over two years & always are immediately available if I have any problems. They have handled our backyard rat problems & this summer our ant invasion. One call after they have treated your home, they will arrive the next day to address any problems. I love Jonathan. He is so patient & had to come back a lot of times this summer to kill our ants. Each time at no charge & with a kind smile on his face. read more

I've used them several times for pest problems - our home backs up to a field and creek runoff so rats and mice frequent the area. When we first bought our home they cleared our property of rats and ensured all possible entries were closed to prevent them from returning. Several years later we've had a new visitor enter through an old sewer runoff under our house; they came back out, trapped them, and closed all of the openings. They also offer a 6 month guarantee - if you hear or see evidence of any additional activity during that time they will come back out to get rid of the problem at no additional cost. We've been very pleased with their services and will continue to use them in the future for any additional pest needs (wasps, ants, etc.) read more

Keystone has been servicing my house for several years now with excellent service. On several occasions, I have spoken with John and Tina in the office to reschedule or just answer basic questions.
