Josh, a home inspector with Bay Pest Solution, was at our home today. We've worked with at least 8 companies on a challenging roof rat control problem over 10 years. We have the concrete tile, Spanish roof with many angles on our roof design. We also have had many roofers working on our roof to seal any access points to our attic. So far, there have been no long term solutions and thousands of dollars spent. Josh arrived on time and he is extremely polite and well spoken. I'm always quietly skeptical but Josh impressed me. His questions and responses were very thoughtful. He was at our home for 2 hours on the roof, on the grounds, and in the attic. At the end of the appointment, I expected the usual general information and typical conversation about how difficult it is to get rid of this type of rodent. Instead, I was shown photos of each step of the inspection, problem areas, and the solution that was completed. The roofers who just charged us 8g had done some work but the spray foams that are not used with metal screens are no permanent solution ( which seems obvious, but not to the very reputable, highest bidding roofing company). Where do I begin... well been working with this company for few years now and been told I've had termites and also powder post beetles. They treated the termites and set up bait stations (which is a scam by the way), and also treated my beetle problem. Came back this year said wow your beetle problem has gotten worse have you thought about fumigating your house? Then said if I didn't do that they would have to come out yearly to spray which would cost me over a grand each time. I was like wow what the hell is going on, just didn't feel right about it. Got a second opinion today from another company and they told me get rid of bait stations that's a scam, just do a really good spray under house and around and you're good for long time like a decade. Second of all he said I didn't have beetles at all. Checked everywhere. But I did have rodents coming in which was good to know and he showed me pics of everything which Bay Pest never does. So who the hell knows what they're doing under or around your house. This company sucks will never use them again. read more

We recently purchased a home in Walnut Creek that had both types of termites. Al came and gave us a free inspection which happen to be more thorough then our paid inspection from Home Guard. He walked us through the treatment and helped us to understand how the treatment work and what to expect from their technicians. Bay pest's price was much less then that of their competitors. Nic their technician came out to preform the subterranean termite treatment. He to was very thorough. He was very conscientious in not not bringing dirt into our newly home. I was doing a kitchen remodeling and found termites. I had to stop work and address the treatment and was under a time crunch. I looked up Angie's list for recommendations and bay pest called back right away and was able to get some out for estimate the next day. After estimate, they were able to get a technician out the next day too, which was also a sat. They even patched up the stucco holes that let the moisture in the first place. And I had Sunday for the treatment to dry. The workers can resume remodeling in Monday. I had practically no down time for my remodeling job. Great expedient service! If you're looking for pest control, stop looking -- hire these guys. Professional, timely, organized, excellent in every way. There was an opossum in my basement. The landlord went cheap, and hired general contractors to deal with the problem. Instead of helping the creature get out, they ended up trapping it inside. For many nights, the opossum was trying, understandably, to get out; it spent all night scratching at the wire mesh that the non-specialists had put up. I couldn't sleep, and the landlord was unresponsive. So I got Delta Pest to come out. They came as soon as possible; within 1 day the animal was captured, and 1 day later it was released. Boom. AND, Delta Pest charged next to nothing compared to other businesses (including the non-specialists who cocked it all up). They're the ones for your job. read more

Apparently if you don't use their continued service they won't care, and will simply not answer your calls. Don't recommend.
