The safety standards on the range are excellent, being cautious, and enforced in a prompt, helpful manner rather than the all-to-common screaming at you like a drill instructor. The reservation system has reduced wait times. The sale area is small but merchandise has been selected more to satisfy range needs rather than duplicating the main store which is within a few miles. The staff (range, sales, administration-membership) all seem to be open to suggestions for improvement. And another strong point - I have never encountered an effort at a hard sell for merchandise, membership, or any other offering.

from the moment we arrived at flying rabbit, the front desk attendant was treating us like garbage…read more My father just ask them what time they closed and the guy behind the desk was being flippant and rude to him. Anytime, we tried to ask him amy questions about anything, paperwork or otherwise, he would act annoyed and treat us like we were stupid. thankfully, once we got down range, we were met with a different older gentleman (I believe his name was Danny) who was very welcoming, and showed us how the range worked. We got through one set of targets, and our second shooter went up to reload. They were standing about 3 feet to the right of the spot where they were supposed to reload, but they still had their gun pointed down range. This is the point at which the first attendant (the one who checked us in) came speeding up on a golf cart and started screaming at the shooter that "that's not where he's supposed to reload" he started yelling commands at him before he could get his ear protection off and actually hear what he was saying. At which point the attendant took the gun out of the shooters hand. At this point we were all pretty much fed up with this guy. One of us told him to stop being such an aggressive prick. And he then kicked us off the range. He continued to hurl abuse at us, the entire time that we are packing up and leaving. He demanded that we were still going to have to pay, even though we shot only four targets. He then started trying to pick a fight with my father. Thankfully, at this point, Danny returned and asked the other attendant to step away. He apologized to us and told us we could just go. We told him that we're sorry for all of this craziness and we left. Danny is a gentleman but I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with that other attendant.
