Excellent service! I enjoyed discussing shooting with an equipment expert. He had everything I needed.

I'm sorry to write this, as I very rarely IF EVER give a negative review. I checked out Virginia…read moreArchery Center (I remember them as Hunt 'n Shak) and they are now out in Goochland next to Parrish Ford. Anyway, I stopped in with my bow, just to double check the draw weight, after adjusting each limb bolt exactly the same full turn (12:00 noon -to- 12:00 noon). It should now be 65# maybe 64#. I asked the guy if he had a bow scale and if he could check my draw weight. To my absolute shock, he looked right at me and said, "NO!". I was blown away by his attitude and rudeness. I couldn't believe it! Maybe somebody pi$$ed his cheerios earlier in the morning, I don't know. I just stood there almost with my jaw on the floor like, "Uh, what?" Then I quickly realized this is NOT a very friendly archery shop, so I turned and walked out and put my bow back in its case in the backseat. I drove all the way up to Green Top, where the guys went all over my bow, verified the draw weight, checked it over real quick, etc...

I have had many others tell me the glue Rob uses is trash and many have had their fletchings come off. I asked Rob what glue he used and he proceeded to tell me he knew of others complaining about their fletchings falling off but it was the way they were shooting that was knocking them off lol.... So I picked my arrows up and in the parking lot noticed one of my fletchings was already coming off.... Guess it was something I did wrong shooting in his parking lot haha. Since picking the arrows up, I have had 6 out of 12 that have lost fletchings. I will never be returning to this shop to give Robert my money again. Not to mention he charged me $90 to cut and fletch my arrows. I was willing to pay due to having no other options but for that money I would have thought he would have done a decent job.... Robs rude and his work is awful.

A friend of mine recommended we should stop by and see what will become the biggest archery store…read morein Virginia. What we found was the finest in customer service, product knowledge, and folks that are truly dedicated to the sport of archery. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and asked if we needed help. We said we were just looking and the owner, Chris, told his staff to set my two boys up with bows and introduce them to the sport. They pulled bows off the shelf, adjusted them to my boys and had them laughing arrows into targets within minutes. They provided instruction and coaching tips until they were able to put three arrows into about a 3 inch circle. As they were coaching the kids, they would pause the session to adjust the bow a bit more until each bow was tuned to the kids, all the while coaching and providing positive feedback as the kids learned. The look of excitement on my kids faces as they learns an outdoor sport was priceless. Needless to say, I became a paying customer that day. To have my kids engaged in something that doesn't require an internet connection is something every parent should be looking for. If you are looking, I would highly recommend Reedy's. My wife even ended up with a setup. GET YOUR KIDS OFF THE INTERNET AND GET THEM OUTDOORS. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

They were extremely welcoming and spent an hour teaching me all of the basics without once trying to sell me anything. They are clearly deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the sport and were helping people at every level of experience from kids to expert hunters. I will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend Reedy's to anyone looking for anything in the world of archery or bowhunting.

I moved to NoVA from Maryland a few months ago and was looking to replace my go-to archery spot,…read moresince I used to go to Lancaster Archery Supply in PA. After chatting with my fellow members and archery lovers at IWLA ARL-FFX, and my bowhunting friends at work, they all swore by Hoffman. The latter was interesting, as my friend lives near Quantico, so the fact that he is willing to drive up to Hoffman's from that distance speaks volumes about the quality. I went up yesterday after work to swap my peep sight and buy new arrows. And I gotta say the entire experience was fantastic. If I couldn't see Hoffman's 100000 rating out of 5, I would!! The entire staff was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The store had plenty of the good stuff -- no junk archery crap. And if you have questions or come prepared with stuff in mind, they'll have a healthy discussion with you and ask you questions, so that 1. You get your money's worth and 2. It's catering to your archery goals. Businesses like that are rare to see, and they provide a personal flair that explains why so many peers are repeat customers. The pricing was fair, and I didn't feel like I got ripped off. I received great service from friendly, knowledgeable staff, and I will return for all my archery needs. Hoffman's got a new repeat customer!!

It's been 4 months and no phone call. Now I know that Farron doesn't want to help you unless you're buying something in his store. Stay Away from this crew!!
