corn so amazing and black aglio
Ivy T.

I think this is a Korean franchise that's supposed to be "higher end" korean fried chicken. The flavor selection is unique compared to other typical chicken spots that have the soy or gochugang based sauces. We got the black aglio which was their most popular one and corn so amazing. black aglio: 4/5 I think it was decent! it was sweet and sticky like a bbq sauce, but nothing that stood out. aside from the whole roasted garlic cloves, there wasn't much garlic flavor corn so amazing: 3/5 an acquired taste? the powder had that artificial sweet corn taste that is good in desserts but was a bit strange on chicken for me. we also got some fries and coleslaw that were meh. the service was super nice though and gave us some complimentary side sauces and pickles which was very kind.

Everything was so delicious! Place is clean and the service staff are very kind. I recommend it .

Restaurant is very clean and cozy inside! There is a convenient kiosk in front to order takeout as well. All the chicken is made to order and will take a while, but certainly worth the wait. The chicken comes out piping hot, freshly cooked. They supposedly use an "oven fried" technique, not sure on the details, but the chicken was definitely juicy with a decent crisp on the outside. The Black Aglio flavor was excellent along with the regular one. I wasn't a fan of the spicy one. The fries were delicious and thin as well. Had some leftovers and they tasted even better as the sauce had more time to seep into the chicken.

Great 1st visit! Samantha was our server, and she was lovely! When we went, it wasn't too crowded and vibes were good. As food and drink, I really liked my house beer, which is Puradak's own house beer! It was crisp and paired well with the chicken. We got cheese balls and jalapeno cheese pops to start, and they were good. For chicken, we got black aglio and corn so amazing! My sister got the boneless chili mayo. The corn so amazing was our favorite, and they have really crispy chicken here. We'd go again just to try their original!

yum yum!! five of us came on a friday night and there wasn't a wait at all. we were promptly taken care of and ordered 3 medium wings (black aglio, corn, and gimme basak). we also got an order of tteokbokki as an appetizer. the portions are pretty good, for the five of us, we had two wings left over! my favorite was the corn but my friends liked the black aglio the best. definitely recommend. staff was super nice and attentive

this place has unique flavors for their chicken. we ended up getting the corn so-amazing & it came with radish & the black cheese balls. the wings were crispy, sweet, & cheesy. the black cheese balls were interesting. it was a little a sweet & had a good cheese pull.

ORDER Black Aglio - this is wings with a combination of rich soy sauce, flavor and savory like garlic. They have chunks of garlic, which are soft and taste good. I liked this one better out of the two. Very crispy on the outside and perfect amount of sauce coating the wings. A nice sweeter flavor from the soy sauce and great taste from the garlic. Gimme Basak - I've actually never had this flavor before for wings. There are fried crisp of seaweed on top as well as some powder with crispy sea flakes. It kind of reminds me of cheese powder covered wings but with milder flavor. Personally for me, I didn't like this one as much because there were some areas of the chicken where it was very bland and the season didn't stick as well. French Fries - the french fries were pretty good. Nothing too special but they were crispy. VIBES The places pretty nice! There is plenty of seating with metal chairs. The lighting is pretty bright. They have Korean music playing in the background. I thought it was pretty neat that they had disposable plastic gloves so that you could eat the wings. Overall seems like a pretty casual place to go get wings and hang out with friends. SERVICE Service was phenomenal! They were very attentive to our needs and continuously checked on us throughout the experience. I thought it was pretty funny when my friend and I were fighting to pay and the guy had this predicament on who to let pay but ultimately let me pay. Very enjoyable and personable experience.

Onion Rings

Food and services was great! Chicken was crispy and flavorful. Inside was juicy as well! Onions - nicely battered to give a good crunch/ though, will say we didn't eat the biggest piece because it was undercooked. We informed the manager and he seemed to have taken that feedback well

Corn So Delicious

Happened upon this place during their opening weekend. There were a few restaurants in the strip mall, but my husband LOVES hot wings so we chose Puradak (which means pure chicken). The staff was very welcoming and our server was sweet as could be. We chose our flavors and asked for her recommendation on the style. We both went for regular bone in. They come with your choice of one side, fries, slaw or pickled radish. They didn't have pickled radishes yet but the fries were crispy perfection, but super heavy on the salt. The wings were also perfectly crispy. So so good. I ordered the Corn wings. The seasoning is dry and slightly sweet, but delicious. My husband ordered the chili mayo. The spice built as you ate it and it was tasty and would make a good fry dip. We will definitely return and try something different next time. I hope they do well!!

They give you a reusable backpack to go

Flavors were bomb! They were different that I haven't had anywhere else before. The black aglio had garlic cloves with the wings. The only downside is wings weren't big. Their fries were good and I loved the cheese balls. Would come back again! I love that they give you a reusable bag when you order to go. That's such a nice touch

Corn so amazing
Tammy D.

The chicken here is very crispy and good! But not more spectacular than some of the other Korean chicken places. They have very minimal flavor options that are more unique though. The corn so amazing is your cheeseling but sweeter. The black aglio is nice and garlicky. Service was very attentive and good. Wouldn't go out of my way to get food here but its definitely good if you want to switch it up with your other places

Boss Lady and I came in because we love KFC. We eat lots of KFC in Aurora CO's K-town. That being said, e has high hopes for this joint. The joint is clean and the staff was very attentive. There are K-pop videos playing on several TVs. We ordered fries and a couple different flavors of chicken. The fries were good BUT we received a Jack-in-the-box child's portion. Very disappointed. The chicken wasn't the best we've had but it wasn't bad. It needs to be crispier and with better tasting sauce. One and done, there's better places to go.

Corn-so-amazing, Black Aglio, Black Cheese Balls
Susan N.

I think I've found my holy grail of Korean Fried Chicken...not only do they have the best flavor combo of cheese & corn (corn-so-amazing), but they have some unique flavors I've never tried before. I wanted to try them all! Luckily they let you order small portions like 4 pieces so we were able to try a variety! Their chicken sandwich was the freshest tasting chicken sandwich I've EVER had. They let me have a sample of their house spicy sauce and it was actually spicy and had incredible flavor. We were the only patrons dining in on a Monday night, but our server was sooo great and attentive. Both the super delicious food and service had me raving about this place to all my friends! Can't wait to go back with more friends!

This place was pretty busy on a Friday night and even with that the servers who waited us were very courteous, attentive and quick to bring us our food. Piping hot and soooo good! If you are looking for an authentic Korean food experience I don't think you can beat this place. John, the owner came and visted us for a bit and said this particular location has been here for at least 9 years. I can tell with all the regulars that seemed to be trickling in while we there. My kid has a yen for Korean food and I can tell why. The Bulgogi was excellent along with the SunDuBu and Tofu soups. The menu seemed very loaded with all kinds of delicacies but I let the kids handle the ordering. I left feeling satisfied and happy! Plus meeting John and talking him a bit left me feeling that he really valued the experience of his customers. Very rare to see sometimes. Kudos to him! So if you're ever in Dallas and are looking for good Korean food give this place a try. You won't be disappointed...

The owner was there and while initially I thought the service was a bit slow, the owner was the one that really turned our experience around. The food definitely was already giving five star vibes! Located about ten minutes north of Carrollton Korea town, nestled in a smaller plaza, is this amazing Korean fried chicken! Normally, I am not the biggest fan of the saucy marinated chicken but I tried the sweet Korean and the honey garlic and both were amazing! Crispy and crunchy on the outside, moist chicken on the inside and came out piping fresh! We also ordered their original boneless with a refreshing green onion salad that compliments the boneless chicken so well!!! All washed down with an ice cold TERRA! We also ordered Seoddok seoddok Which is a crispy chewy rice cake and Korean sausage on a stick drizzled with a sweet and spicy sticky sauce! 10/10 as well. Whether you're visiting or a local, this place is a MUST TRY! There is a common practice in Korean culture in their restaurants and retail Shops that's called "service," which basically equates to "on the house" in American culture. The owner gave us two types of shaved ice on the house and it was the perfect and refreshing dessert to end and round our whole experience!!! PSA: first you pick the type chicken - boneless, wings, or the whole chicken cut into pieces. Then, you pick your batter: golden crispy batter, fried batter, or yorienn batter. I recommend the classic KFC style FRIED BATTER! Lastly, pick your sauce! I still dream of this chicken place and it's only been a week since we tried it. I already want to go back and my mouth literally drools thinking about it!

We ordered gamjatang and waited about 30 minutes. At first, we assumed it was taking a while to prepare. However, when other customers arrived, ordered the same dish, and received their food within five minutes, we realized something was wrong. When we finally asked the staff, we learned that she had forgotten to place our order. What made the experience more frustrating was that no one checked on us during those 30 minutes. We were simply left sitting there, waiting for our food. The staff apologized and offered us complimentary soft drinks to make up for the mistake, but by then, we had already lost our appetite. Unfortunately, the gamjatang itself was just average and did not make up for the disappointing experience. Things got even more frustrating when we checked the bill. Despite the drinks being offered as complimentary, we were charged for them. We had to bring this to the staff's attention twice before the charges were finally removed. Overall, the service was disappointing, from the forgotten order to the repeated billing mistake. We came in excited to enjoy a good bowl of Korean gamjatang, but the experience fell well short of our expectations. Would we visit again? Nah!
