I went with the Signature açaí bowl and my husband had the veggie omelet. The açaí bowl wasn't anything out of the ordinary but I appreciated how fresh the ingredients were. My husband inhaled his veggie omelet (before I was able to snap a photo) and he said it tasted flavorful and clean. The service was friendly from the cashiers to the food runners. This location is also tastefully decorated, lots of beachy vibes right in the middle of Brickell. I'd definitely come visit again the next time we're in town! read more

Also bought some healthy snacks to-go -- chocolate date "balls" were great! I just wished they didn't use the little machines to spray out perfume type of scent into the air.... The Tulum vibes/decoration was on point. Above all the great things I have mentioned, food quality is something they are strongly delivering. In this occasion, I sampled the Summer Chichen Bowl and the Thai Almond (sort of a Thai/Chinese salad). I loved the chicken breast on both dishes. It was well seasoned, nicely cooked through and juicy inside. Both, the salad and the bowl, were full of flavors, made with fresh ingredients, dressings were enhancing and bringing all flavors together, and good size leaving you fully satisfied. Price-to-quality ratio was pretty favorable and service was good. I could keep these two dishes on my weekly meal rotation as for any lunch or dinner. Looking forward to come back soon. read more

Today's visit was a brunch quest. I ordered a perfect egg sandwich. Described as an "ARTISANAL TOASTED BAGEL SCOOPED OUT OR CIABATTA, PASTURE-RAISED SOFT BOILED EGGS, MOZZARELLA, ARUGULA, AVOCADO SMASH, TOMATO, RED PEPPER FLAKES" and I added smoked salmon for a total of $18.90. Along with an iced matcha latte with oat milk for $7.25. Adding tax and mandatory 17% tip, I paid $35.87 for essentially a bagel and coffee. But, I was glad to do it. The sandwich was perfect in both appearance and flavor. The perfect balance of flavors from the ingredients made this among the very best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten. And the matcha latte was delicious...not that sweet stuff poured over way too much ice at most places. From the warm greeting when I walked into the cafe to the friendly cashier, from the person who kept my table cleared of finished items to the person who cleaned the window until it was perfectly clear...the service was awesome. Loved the appropriate music and so impressed with the food and the staff. Pricey? Yes indeed but so are many places that fail to deliver this level of food, service, and atmosphere. The puppy sitting next to me appreciatively barked her approval of the dog friendly venue. This is a place that moves to the top of my short list. This Pura Vida is in Brickell. I've been to a few Pura Vida locations and a lot of them have this small and intimate setting but love the bright interior that makes it feel big and welcoming. The service here was unmatched to the few others I've been in. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the girl at the register and she handed me a menu. I have my usual favorites but, of course, I had to grab a matcha. Their matcha is pretty standard here so I wish I went for my usual Coco Azul smoothie but I did need some energy so matcha was the choice for this visit. I came with the intention to get some work done and it was between this and Crema. Although I love this location, I wouldn't really recommend it for remote work. It does tend to get busy so a bit loud and there is only one outlet that is a little stretch away from a table. I know that this isn't really meant to be a remote working spot but just something to note. I did see a few people here working on their laptops so thought it was worth mentioning. Other than that, I worked from here for a good couple of hours so overall, I still loved this Pura Vida location! read more

I have been to Costa Rica experiencing the Pura Vida lifestyle. I was recommended to Pura Vida in the Design District by friends in Miami. I enjoyed my time. Being a longtime vegan I went with the Vida Veggie Bowl. It came with vegan veggie bites aka tasty made in house bites made from bell peppers, onion, and sesame seeds and cilantro rice that was fresh, arugula, avocado, radish, pickled red onion, pineapple, and micro cilantro with a tasty green tahini sauce on the side. Make the bowl vegan by holding the feta cheese. Other clearly marked vegan options on the menu include hand held wraps, smoothies, Acai Bowls, oatmeal, fruit salad, avocado toast, and salads. Many vegetarian and vegan by default options on the menu and veg items that can be made vegan. Think healthy, fresh, and flavorful cuisine. Not pure veg as there are non-veg items on the menu. This location is ok. It's always pretty busy, as are most. I've gone in many times and unfortunately seems to be a little inconsistent with quality and service. Even if you just grab something from the cold case (a juice, water, their snack balls they offer) - you're still going to get charged a service fee even though it was a grab and go item. The service fee from my understanding is almost like a tip. It's in addition to tax and there's no way around it. As for quality - I've gotten the post workout smoothie countless times. It never tastes the same. I know there are some days things could taste a little different based on the ingredients, but it's always seemed like the amts of ingredients is never the same any time I go. Regarding the perfect egg sandwhich - it's $4 to add turkey bacon, and you barely get any at all (see picture) - this sandwhich was $20 and in all honestly it's worth maybe $10 in total as there's really just not much to it. Inside is beautiful as always. Always clean. Staff is always asking if you've been helped, etc. *Owner responded... comments below... *Re: the service charge fee - again... I'm not sure why I'm being charged a service charge fee for employee's hard work when I grabbed my own item out of the cold case and checked out. Service charge should be removed in these cases. *Re: Quality of the ingredients, etc - that would be nice, but there isn't much of anything but bread and egg in the picture below. It was also $4 extra dollars for 1 slice of turkey bacon on the sandwich. *Also - if you pay for an extra side of sauce ($1 for a cup of sauce is a little excessive) I would say prepare for it to be maybe only 1/4th of the way full.
