    Bean papusa

The bean papusa was the best, with the pickled cabbage. Get this!! I think they got upset because they brought the wrong food.

Outstanding pupusas!!! We stopped by for lunch and ordered the Lover Plate, which was a selection of five pupusas. It was more than enough food for two people, and all of them were delicious, each one perfectly crispy on the outside, with a warm, flavorful filling inside. Our pupusas came with a selection of several salsas of varying spiciness and a delicious vinegar-based cole slaw that paired perfectly . The menu overall is very vegan and veg friendly. Service was very quick and friendly. It's a casual place with cute decor and warm vibes. Highly recommend!

10/10 authentic Salvadoran food!! Vegan options!!! Super cute place inside with very quick service. As soon as you walk in, you hear "smack smack smack!" Fresh, made to order pupusas. Thank you for the great experience!

Pupusas are great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Think a thin soft corn shell with cheese and delicious fillings inside. We had the chorizo y queso, hongos y queso (mushroom and cheese), and beans/cheese/loroco. Loroco is an interesting but punchy flower flavor. You get a bowl of the curtido (think quick pickled cabbage) and salsas (the red mild, green is spicy) with your pupusas. Put it all together for fast-ish YUMS.

Elated to see this new biz in town that is run by an El Salvadorian family. This is the second location (hence the name). Their other location is in the Denver area. The place was cute and had lots of El Salvadorian art and images. The menu was vast! So many options for food and drinks! Went for the horchata and mixed fruit juice. Both were sweet, refreshing and yummy. For the meal I tried the papusa with El Salvadorian flowers. Smothered in their hottest hot sauce this was a unique and filling offering. Fave was definitely the savory empanada with chicken. So delicious and just the right amount of spices. On to dessert with the quesadilla (El Salvadorian pound cake) and tamal de elote (which I preferred without the sour cream and cheese which was served on the side). Definitely check them out to explore their offerings and welcome this new small business to town.

Attention all in BOULDER COUNTY!!! This is a place you MUST visit!!!! We happened upon this place near McGuckin Hardware in Boulder. It is in a small space so look for their neon sign in the window - Pupusa Lover! The Pupusa are Fantastic! On this visit we only tried the traditional Pupusa - Revuelta. To say it was good, great, amazing, is understated. It was completely fresh, full of flavor and the sauce on top was fantastic! They have hot salsa as well-it packs a punch so definitely ask for that! The accompanying slaw was very flavorful, fresh, the right amount of tang not creamy or sweet "just right"! We were encouraged to try the Auguas Frescas and I'm VERY happy we did. The passion fruit paired well with our Pupusa! Thank you!! The staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was exceptionally clean and there were plenty of seating options. It is a fast casual environment! We will definitely return to order the recommended "Mixto". It will afford us the opportunity to try more of the delicious options offered. Can not wait!!!!!

DELICIOUS pupusas with friendly service and a casual ambiance. I gave this place five stars because they not only offer very flavorful and filling food, but they do it with a smile. We ordered two Bichotas. I got the vegan pupusas (one with zucchini and mushrooms, one with edible flowers and beans). The zucchini pupusa was my favorite, but both hit the spot. The person I dined with got two chorizo and cheese pupusas, and he loved the ratio of meat to cheese in them. All the sides and sauces were tasty, but please note that the cabbage is spicy and the hot sauces are truly hot! We would both go back tomorrow. Please give this place your business!

This new business in Boulder Colorado is so puzzling that I'm not sure what to say but I can see that you'd go to a place like this if you're from that country or region but I just didn't fully understand it otherwise. I hope they make it but I know I'd never eat there again and the food in the picture (I mean the website picture)looks way better than what I got. Here's my appetizer and soda for over ten dollars.

Pupusas are thick, stuffed corn masa filled with things like cheese, beans, pork, fish and grilled. We started with the curtido, which is the traditional Salvadoran pickled cabbage slaw. Tangy, crunchy relish made from finely shredded cabbage, carrots, pickled in vinegar. Our party of two decided to share the mixto. This hit the right spot because it had everything from savory to sweet and more. Two pupusas, fried yuca, banana leaf tamale, sweet corn tamale, fried plantain, plantain empanada, savory empanada, sour cream and cheese. For those looking for a little spice in their lives, you can pick your poison. Watch for this salsas, you've been warned. Stop in and experience the taste of El Salvador!

The place is small but definitely cozy and inviting. The staff are kind and treat you like family. The food was absolutely amazing and some of the best I've had in a long time. The pupusa was perfectly balanced, it wasn't under or over stuffed. The tamal was perfectly sweet and was balanced out by the saltiness of the crema it was served with. The maracuya tastes just like back in Miami. Next time I'm in Colorado I'm making it my mission to stop by here again.

I have determined one really can't go wrong. This time we had the pupusas and smothered breakfast burritos, yes, for supper. The pupusas have that only-mom's homemade kind of flavor. I will be craving queso-chicharrón in the future. The smothered breakfast burritos, using a nice balance of fresh potatoes, eggs, and meat of choice, had layers of flavor, topped off with a delicious blanket of green chili sauce. I was not disappointed by the bacon in mine which was even crispy. In the past we have thoroughly enjoyed street tacos, smothered burritos, and chile rellenos- all great! Our server was attentive and obviously proud of their product (rightfully so). It is a small space and the seating limited but acceptable. We moved from booth to table, as the booths were pretty uncomfortable. This is a small thing in light of the excellent food and always very friendly staff. If comfort is an issue, don't pass on takeout! It was a nice evening and I look forward to introducing other friends to this dining experience.

We normally buy the frozen package to take home and enjoy though we're sure fresh is always better. The pupusas are tender, light, delicious and most of all filled with love, passion, joy and pride in every bite. Later due to some schedule changes, we started visiting their food truck in Boulder from Lafayette because the pupusas are worth the trip. Imagine our joy that not only is there a Lafayette farmers market within walking distance but this beautiful family owned business is there! On Sunday, July 6th, 2025, I bought two packages of the frozen pupusas and while paying, the owner comes over and says "Please allow me to give you some curtido to go with the pupusas." I looked up at him in awe and gratitude as my heart lifted, and thanked him. He didn't have to do that but it was the second time in a very hard week that I was nearly in tears of wonder and relief because someone showed me a small but meaningful kindness. It was huge to me and for all the hate in the world, it's precisely why I am a loyal customer. Thank you, Pupusas Familia! May you only experience blessings. Be safe and well!
