Okay, I'm going to try to be fair here... almost two years ago we bought our beautiful Beagle from this store. I had actually just dragged my wife in so that she could smell puppy breath because she never had. We fell in love with our girl, and bought her the same day. The staff was very careful with bringing the puppies out, making sure that we sanitized our hands before handling the puppies, there were separated handling areas, and they are feeding the pups high quality food (at least that is what they said). Two days later we took her to the vet- low and behold she had worms. No big deal really- happens all the time, and it's not expensive to treat (so we thought) so I didn't even call on the warranty. Retested after the first treatment, and then discovered the giardia worms. Found out she is a poop eater so was likely re-infecting herself (when we had her fixed the vet was even shocked at how quickly she could do her business and the eat it -gross I know but still true) FIVE worm treatments later and retested a week ago - she is "worm free" however - after paying an astronomical amount for the pup, we spent at least another $1k in treating and retesting for those worms! Again, to be fair, we never reported this to puppy love or tried to submit a claim, but if we had we would've gotten a fraction of the costs for treatment reimbursed *or* could've returned or exchanged our girl? (Would have to read the contract again but that was my understanding after reading it back then). In any case, there was no way I was going to do anything but get my girl healthy as quickly as possible! I'm giving a 2 star rating because IMO, some puppies eat poop. It's true, it just is. Therefore I feel that ALL of the puppies should have a fecal exam a few days after receipt, and should be segregated from other "cleared" pups until the results are back. Yes, this might cause the segregated pups to be sad for a couple days, and it might be an extra expense *but* at the prices puppy love is charging, it would be worth it to ensure both repeat business and customer satisfaction (From a business perspective) and that their pups are healthy and well cared for (which will also make customers happy, and lead to good corporate image).

I got this puppy at 3 months old. I never thought I'd care so much for a dog. As a result. I'm upset. My Shiba (Frankie) is scared shitless of going on walks or going outside in general. Clearly this is because he was in that glass box so long he didn't know there was a whole world put there and it intimidates him. He has anxiety and shakes sometimes violently in fear of the outdoors. This place needs to socialize the animals in an outdoor environment. That's all I ask.

Our Chocolate Labrador we got at Puppy Love. Love Hims!

It has been a year since we got our dog at Puppy Love. He has been a joy! Perfect temperament, well behaved...just an all around sweet pea. Very happy with him. All of our paperwork from AKC came in within a couple of weeks of taking him home. They did all the work. Perfect. Sorry to say I will not be a frequent shopper, but I am very happy with our pup!

RIP Baby Girl. You were such a character. I hope you haunt these owners because they killed you!

I know this is the sister store to Puppies Plus. But out of honor of the puppy I bought from Puppies Plus, the Shih Tzu that was so sick, she lay limp in my sons arms and burning up with fever....well...she had to be put down because she became paralyzed from IVDD and is HERIDITARY! My son and I were going to spend the money to help her. We got her a wheelchair. But now, stopped eating. Brought her back into the ER and they found a very big tumor in her bladder. Once again...HERIDITARY! In December of 2021, I had to make the saddest decision I could ever make and put her down. She was only 7 YEARS OLD!!!! Since neither of these stores buy puppies from reputable breeders (more like puppy mills) and no DNA testing done or even HEALTH CHECKED...all their puppies could be subjected to these same diseases. And you may end up putting the love of your life down at such a young age and the irresponsibility of these owners of these stores. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable breeder!!! Please. I lost my baby girl because of them!!!

I'd give 6/5 stars if possible!!…read more Reno Rats has beautiful and well-breed pet rats. We added two of their babies to our mischief, and we can already tell the differences in temperament and health between them and our older pet store feeder rats. We love their distinct markings and friendly nature. They made the whole process so easy! We were on the waitlist for a couple months because we wanted dumbo eared babies with smooth coats and unique markings. We got regular check ins and lots of updates once the babies were born. Once they were old enough to be adopted out, we got to pick which pair we wanted and set up a time to get them. What I love most is how much they care about their rats. They talked me through the introduction process between my older rats and the new ones. They've also been a super a helpful resource for care advice and local resources. When one of our rats got injured, Reno Rats recommended we go to EVS Pet Urgent Care of Reno. They were able to clean the wound, prescribe antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds for a reasonable price. I doubt my rat would have made it without such prompt and competent medical care. If/when I have more space for rats, I will definitely adopt from Reno Rats again. They're the best breeder in Northern Nevada!

Both my boys adjusted super quickly to a new home, are super friendly, and are my favorite rats i've owned (not to say the others were not great too). The Reno Rats website is PACKED with valuable information from care guides to shopping guides. Communication is sooo easy and i've always felt able to reach out if needed for anything I needed or just to share cute pictures. Truly one of the best experiences and Highly recommend working with Reno Rats. Their instagram is one of my favorite pages to follow as well! Overall, 10/10 experience, affordable, helpful, and the best adoption option by far.

Multiple occasions she disregarded our questions and concerns then states that she has been going through personal problems. I understand to that extent, but when someone you just met goes into detail about their WHOLE life it makes you uncomfortable. Also it seemed like every week there was another excuse or incident occurring that didn't give her a chance to snap a picture of our dog that takes 30 seconds to do. Her response to that is " your dog is fine, I'm not". What a joke. Lastly, she not only took away one dog from me, but two. Make sure to ask her about how the mom corgis have been aggressive with their puppies. That's how I lost the first dog. Ps, check her google reviews as well!
