After losing my sweet Sadie, I felt an emptiness in my home I didn't think could ever be filled…read more Then I found Taylor through Ragdoll Ranch, and what I brought home was more than a kitten. He was a blessing, a piece of light, and a living reminder that love continues. I've worked with breeders before, but never like this. Ashley and Lyle are not just breeders, they are family, and they raise their kittens like family. Ashley mothers these babies in a way you can see and feel: they are held, loved, and nurtured during those tender months when personality is formed. When I adopted Taylor at 6 months old, he came to me not just healthy and socialized, but with a sweetness that only comes from being raised with real heart. He checks every box you'd expect from a true Ragdoll: gentle, floppy, endlessly affectionate, the kind of cat who seems born to love. Some people misunderstand what it means for a Ragdoll to be "purebred." The truth is that Ragdolls were created in the 1960s by Ann Baker using a mix of breeds (Birman, Persian-like, Siamese-pointed cats, and a white domestic longhair named Josephine). That's the foundation of the breed. So when DNA tests today show traces of those breeds, that doesn't disprove anything, it actually confirms the breed's history. What makes a Ragdoll purebred is registration and lineage, and all of Ragdoll Ranch's kings and queens are TICA-registered Ragdolls. But beyond papers and pedigrees, what matters most is love. Ragdoll Ranch gave me not just a cat, but a companion whose personality reflects the kindness of the people who raised him. They were responsive, transparent, and professional; providing health records, care guidance, and even advice on local vets. Ashley has even cared for Taylor for me when I couldn't -- a gesture that says more than words ever could. This isn't just a business. It is a humane, heartfelt, beautiful enterprise; a reflection of beautiful people investing their lives in something of the heart. In a world that often feels hurried and transactional, Ashley and Lyle remind me that when something is raised with love, it shows. Taylor shows it every single day. To say I recommend this breeder would be an understatement. If you are looking for a Ragdoll raised with love and integrity, I implore you to reach out. Ashley and Lyle are not only the best in town -- they are among the best you'll find anywhere.

I decided to start going into the humane society to get some kitty therapy(wasn't really planning on picking one up.). I still had my two boys but my cat I lost was special and it left a little bit of a void. I went back a couple times for a few weeks and then one day there was an intake that was a little ball of energy that I just had to play with. But since he was new they were still figuring out his temperament so he was not available for meets. Went into my work weekend and I saw he went into regular population to where he could be played with on my work Friday. Had a friend that was going with me on occasion to see the cats. I woke up on my first day off to a knock on my door, She adopted the cat for me and it was a bit of a shock at first but he's been the most beautiful fit for my household. Don't shop, please adopt. So many amazing animals out there

Lou came out from under a couch and stole my heart. He's an 8 year old boy who was surrendered by his family. How can I leave him there??? So he came home with me. Here is the part I never expected: they've called to check in on US. they send surveys out at interval to see how things are going. They alway answer the phone if there's an issue. They support the families who adopt pets. I love the kind staff and I love what they do for these animals. Please adopt- don't shop.

The team at the SPCA was truly understanding, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They made something so heartbreaking feel as smooth and gentle as possible, and we are beyond grateful for their kindness during such an emotional time. Wish if our situation changes we could get him back but there's a form that I had to sign saying they might not do that (very hurtful). There were a lot of tears today, but we are holding onto hope and praying that Tyson finds a loving, safe, and happy forever home. We trust that the SPCA will do right by him and help place him with a family who will love him just as much as we do. Tyson will always be a part of our hearts.

I am so happy that we can give back to the community as a family here. Thank you SPCA for being open minded to families. Being volunteers we get to see a bit of the behind the scenes, and let me tell you, everything is labeled, thoughtful, super clean and well kept. It's is actually quite amazing! Their facilities are quite nice as well. We love looking at their display board of how many animals they have adopted out that month. I wish more people took the time to volunteer for the community and for the animals. It is something I cherish and want to instill in my kids. Thank you SPCA for allowing this to happen.
