Excellent experience at Pupatella! The pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked, and our server Hui was outstanding -- friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. read more

First time here and loved it! Ordered zucchini fries which were delicious as were the pizzas. The service was great! We'll definitely come back soon! read more

Pupatella is normally good pizza with at least adequate service. Not this one. We've tried it three times. Each time the pizza was marginal on quality. But the service is what really disappointed. We didn't once get what we ordered. The last time they forgot a pizza. I called to complain and was offered a free pizza on my next order. There will not be a "next order". I prefer to lose my money once and call it a lesson learned. Never again. read more

SO GOOD! It can be hard to find true Italian pizza but this was legit. Great menu, tasty crust, good mozzarella, quality olive oil... They apparently import direct from Italy. It's not a fancy place but our server was a sweet as could be. We will definitely be back! read more

The food was delicious! We enjoyed the charcuterie board, pizza and sampler dessert plate. Sophia is a wonderful waitress!

Excellent food, Ambiance is very nice, our server was excellent and extremely attentive. Well worth the experience.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, and great service! Service was prompt, attentive, and thoughtful. We sat at the bar and Michael helped us. He was friendly and made great recommendations for food at drink. Highly recommend a visit! Go Thursdays to avoid the Friday/Saturday crowds! read more

Hui was amazing and very helpful. Good pizza and beer spot. No wifi though . I would come again

I grew up around New York City so I know what good pizza tastes like. Last weekend I ordered a margarita pizza to go. The sauce and crust were average at best. Cheese was underwhelming. (Honestly it was slightly better than a frozen pizza) With tax it was around $22. And it was tiny! No joke that's a sharpie marker next to the pizza. This place is totally overrated and crazy overpriced. Take your business to a local real family pizza place. read more

Pupatella - Margherita DOC Pizza. - Pizza Near Me - West Springfield, Virginia

Had a terrible experience with an online delivery order where all of my entrees were missing. After I spoke to the delivery driver who said there was only one bag to pick up I called and spoke to manager Juan who was incredibly rude and said "I can't help you." I reached out to Pupatella corporate and.... Crickets. This has been over a week so they have had opportunity to reach back out. There are way better places in NOVA to get pizza with way nicer management. read more

My family has been to Pupatella several times, and to us, their Neopolitan-style pizza is second to none in the area! The food is delicious, easily customizable to fit your preferences, and always comes out fast. The service has also been great every time. On our latest visit we had Ricki as our server, who was very attentive and kind. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

The food is consistently good. Very good. But the service feels like a warm hug from a dear friend, particularly the service and attention to detail we get from Amanda. read more

We love the pizzas and salads, plus above-and-beyond customer service at our neighborhood Pupatella. Even though my husband and I are never running up a big bill, because we don't order drinks or desserts, the service we get from Ricki never flags. We are huge fans! read more

First off these are personal size pizzas, so don't be fooled. If you're charging $18 for a pizza for one person (two pizza required for a couple) then that pizza had better be great! It was not great or really even that good. My meatball pizza with burrata was a goopy mess with barely any meatballs. It's like they took a single meatball, cut it into eight tiny pieces and sprinkled it on. No good and not tasty. My wife has the sausage and onion pizza which tasted alright but nothing really special. For the money these people are charging I would go to "Crust" in Tyson's Corner, they are half the price and twice the flavor! "Crust" all the way, that is great Neapolitan pizza! read more

Sofia was a great server. This is the best pizza in town! The happy hour deals are great too.

Food is always great. Ricki was very attentive and a great server. Love the new desserts!!

Went there with my son last night. Good food. Good service (Audrey). Good location. We will be back. read more

Food is great and the service is great. Ricki was the host I interacted with at the West Springfield location and he was great! I highly recommend eating here. read more

Really good pizza! Just moved back from Europe so we're pretty picky about pizza! Amazing service! Thanks, Joanna!

Visited on a weeknight. Another person in my party ordered the pizzas so I can't really speak to that experience. Our pizzas arrived after a fairly short wait; taste was on par with other Pupatella locations, although the pepperoni distribution (pictured) was a little questionable. Take out boxes are available to grab yourself, pizza tasted just as good the next day! Crust will be on the tougher side if you don't reheat, though. read more

I visited on a Friday night so it was very busy but the service was great. The staff there was super friendly and attentive. It was a nice chill environment, I liked the casual setting so I'll definitely be back. The pizza was delicious and the bruschetta was yum! We also tried the Nutella pizza, I asked if we can add walnuts on partial half of it they said they couldn't. Other than that all good and will be back. read more

Really nice experience, first gripe would be that the receptionist stand is right next to the door and just kinda is in an awkward spot so if there's another party there, there's no room for other parties; food was good, service was good, no complaints. I was worried about "beef pepperoni" but it was actually good; next time I'll be back and try some more of the menu read more

The ambience exceeded our expectation, very clean, food was tasty we ordered lunch special it's a 9" pizza and salad (salad portion could be increase but vinaigrette was good). Sofia our server was attentive, knew the menu, proposed good suggestions and friendly. Definitely go again and recommend to friend. read more

This is the place to go for pizza for our family. It's reasonably priced and the pizza is always super thin, chewy and the toppings are so tasty! We love their good wine, beer and limoncello too! read more

Erica was great. Provided us with recommendations on size of plates, appetizers, drinks, and desserts.

Delicious pizza. Light and flavorful. Fast, friendly service. Wendy was an attentive server.

Love & always enjoyed the pizzas here. Reminds me of Naples, Italy. Onion tart & mushroom are our favorite, Great salad selections, too. Our server Jon is the best. He always made sure that we are doing good. He explains the discounts very well. Will come back again soon. read more

I like the pizza here. I really do. I'd give it five stars, but after coming here at least five times since it's opened, the service needs to be addressed. Last time they didn't answer the phone. This time I decided to call on the way to get my order in and they wanted my credit card information. Well, I'm driving, they didn't take my order until I got there. When we have sat in the restaurant we have had no issues. But take out is tough. So frustrating, but like I wrote, I love their pizza so I guess I'll have to put up with less than stellar service. read more

The pizza was very good, even better than real Italian pizza we recently ate in Rome. The crust is thin and the outer edges are delightfully fluffy. The ambiance was bad. There were 4 servers crowding around the bar chatting amongst themselves along with the bartender. The restaurant is overstaffed with workers who have nothing to do. They were making retching noises in their conversations and it was kind of unpleasant for us to overhear at our table. If I was the owner I would be mad that the workers didn't even pretend to be busy, it made for an awkward dining experience although the pizza was good and our server was polite when he wasn't partaking in the server chat sessions... read more

Tasty, but a bit pricey for an 11" pizza, particularly when the ratio of toppings is inconsistent. I got the meatball pizza (I could count maybe a dozen little meatballs) while my husband got the prosciutto arugula (with the heaping handful of arugula piled in the middle of his pizza, it looked like salad with a pizza underneath). Two suggestions for improvement: 1. Better ways to place orders than having to drive over to the restaurant, walk inside, place the order, and then wait for the pizzas to get made. Hire people to answer phones so people can place orders ahead of time, or have your online ordering system up and running. 2. Have delivery options! Even if it is through one of the many food delivery apps. You could be making a killing when it comes to pizza sales if you offered delivery. West Springfield has so very few pizza places that are not Papa Johns, Dominos, or Paisano's. I want this place to do well, particularly since it opened about a month ago. read more

Ordered the Margherita pizza because the bar tender, Rob, recommended it and it was fabulous. Also, the other bar tender, Amanda, recommended the flight of local beers which were super! Ambient/relaxed environment and spot on pizza reminiscent of my travels throughout Rome and Naples. Lastly, professional and friendly staff. Great job! read more

Pizza here is really good. The service experience not so much. I get it, you want to have fun at work, but the waiters aren't very attentive and seem more dedicated to chatting with each other versus helping paying customers. When leaving we had to go around a group of 4 or 5 of them. Not a single "thank you." No more dine in for us. read more

First and most important, the food is excellent. The pizza has the most flavorful crust I've had in a long time and whatever toppings you choose will be the perfect compliment. I've enjoyed the ham & mushroom pie, and the pepperoni. High marks also to the burrata platter (massive!) and the Napoli salad. Second, every server we've had has been extremely attentive and kind. Someone is training them right! Third, location! For those of us out here in the 'burbs, it's nice to have real pizza nearby. Cons? The ordering system of waiting in line at the counter and then ordering anything additional from a waiter at your table via ipad needs some work. The line is always super long and there are always a ton of servers about, so why not just do the table/ipad for every order? My other con is the price. This is not an inexpensive meal. Roughly $15-20 for an 11 inch pizza, which serves one, plus drinks and any salads or appetizers is a lot. However, the food really is worth it every once in a while. read more

Pupatella's is a neopolitan style pizza. If you haven't come here, you need to try it out. For a guy, these are probably more like personal pizzas, so prob need a pizza a person. Our favorite pizzas here so far are the margherita and the diavola. The diavola is a spicy salami style pizza. If you're more on the adventurous side, the tomato artichoke is really good. For sides, you can't go wrong with fresh fried mozzarella balls or panzarotti, which are potato croquettes. The chocolate hazelnut gelato is delicous as well. Pistachio gelato is más o menos, but the chocolate hazelnut is the bomb.com! read more

The food was great, especially the tiramisu! It was so light and fluffy. Nasir took great care of us and was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back! read more

Best Margherita pizza in the area. Terrific salads worthy to share. Excellent wine selection. Great service: Sophia is tremendous!

Both the food and service were excellent! The pizza is fresh, wood-fired, and scrumptious! Great atmosphere, too -- perfect for lunch with my daughter. read more

I've been excited to try out this place since they opened a few months ago. The pizza is fresh, made in a brick oven and just downright delicious!!! The croquettes were super delicious as well. This place is a fast casual restaurant. You go up to the counter and order, and then someone brings your food out to you. It can get pretty busy on Friday night and the weekends, so be prepared for a wait if you go then. My only "complaint" was the service. They seemed slow to serve and/or check on water/drinks. There were plenty of servers compared to customers so I'm not sure why. The expeditor also seemed a bit annoyed but maybe he wasn't having a good day. Either way... CHECK THEM OUT. The food is really great. read more
