Food here is always great. Hui was our server and she was also attentive and exceptional. The restaurant is clean too!

There's plenty of parking and other establishments nearby, There's a small Italian red car in front of the restaurant, friendly staff and the interior is clean. The menu was huge so our server recommended the Diavola pizza so we said why not? We also order the caprese salad. The pizza itself lack flavor which was topped with spicy salami, basil and fresh mozzarella. As the pizza arrived to the table, the outer crust was great but the center was soggy and thin. The menu stated the pizza comes with basil but there were only a few. Surprisingly the caprese salad arrived ten minutes after the pizza and it appears our server prepared it. The dish itself was also missing flavor too. Everyone knows there's only four ingredients to making this plate. The balsamic vinegar was only a drop on every other piece not a drizzle. A drop. read more

I've never felt so aggressively rushed out of a restaurant before. Came in with the family on a Friday night and upon being seated, we ordered our drinks and an appetizer and said we needed a sec to choose our pizzas. Couple minutes later our server comes back and says actually we need to get our pizzas in now because "there are people waiting for this table." We'd been in our seats for maybe five minutes at this point. Then when we're all just starting our second slice, beverages maybe half finished, all four of us clearly actively still eating, she asks if we want boxes. Not if we wanted anything else, just if we were ready for boxes yet. We took the hint, chewed faster, got out of the way, and gave up on dinner being a relaxing end to a long, difficult week. Food was delicious as always, and service was certainly efficient, but wow, that was uncomfortable. I guess we'll stick to takeout here. read more

Tim did an awesome job. Great service. Courteous. Quick turnaround. Explained specials well.

Our entire family loves Pupatella! The food is always super yummy. The staff, especially the young man with the dreadlocks and our most recent waiter, Michael, have been great each time we've been. Good restaurant for families with kids. read more

Great pizza place in West Springfield! The pizza ovens are imported from Italy for a more authentic experience. The ingredients are fresh coupled with friendly service and a decent atmosphere. read more

Great pie; and Hui the bartender and server is awesome. Knows the food, checks up, good memory, fun to talk to. Give this place a try

This was my first time at Pupatella, and I really enjoyed it. I thought it would be more of a takeout or order at the counter and sit down, but it's full service. There is even a bar, and you can order beer and wine. The staff and service is friendly and efficient. We tried the arugula and prosciutto pizza and the caivano. One hungry person could easily finish a whole pizza. I enjoyed the arugula pizza. It was light and crispy. The caivano was very soggy, so a little less enjoyable. However I did crisp up a left over slice on the stove at home, and enjoyed it a lot. I liked their neopolitan style pizza a lot. I definitely recommend giving it a try because it's less heavy and less greasy than traditional America pizzas. read more

Susana was a great server. Best pizza in town! We'll be back for the pizza flights. Five stars

I went to Pupatella on a Friday night, and even though it was pretty busy, I can confidently say that I still had an amazing time. I had Angela as my server, and she was just a gem. She made sure that even though the place was packed, I wouldn't feel like it was. She was very attentive, from taking my order to making sure that everything came out correctly. When asked what I should try on the menu for tonight, she recommended the Caivano. It was an amazing pizza! I would definitely order it again. For dessert, I had the tiramisu and must say that it was a treat. Service, food, and atmosphere were all 5 stars from me. read more

great service and meal! pizza was hot, served incredibly fast after orderin, and Tim D was very attentive and friendly to my elderly father!

I'd give it a 4 for food and a 3 for overall atmosphere and vibe. The place was empty on a Friday afternoon at lunch. Service was friendly - but a little quirky. We had a salad, eggplant panini (which one of the servers said was never ordered before!) and meatballs. All were good. Place is cute. I hope they stay in business. read more

Great pizza and close to home! Also our waiter, Set, was awesome! He also got us to sign up for the rewards program which is a great deal.

I ordered a salad. It wasn't anything to rave about. The meat on the salad kinda took over the flavor of everything else so I didn't end up eating much of the meat since it was a bit tougher too. I wish they had more salad options but the pizzas did look delicious. read more

This place was pretty good ! Such a cute little pizza place. Menu isn't too overwhelming. The pizza dough is different, a little chewy but crunchy at the same time. It's good! Parking was also pretty easy. The zucchini fries and Brussels were great. The only thing I didn't like that I got was the spinach salad. It needed way more flavor. Ot tasted like an onion, anchovy salad. I wouldn't recommend it lol. Our server was awesome. He was a little bit of an older, white , gentleman. I wish i got his name. he was so attentive, personable, and you could tell he was someone that took pride in his work. read more

Decided to give this place a try. The pizza was hot and tasty. We also ordered the mozzarella balls and the kids enjoyed them. At the end we decided to try the Nutella fritters and those are good as long as they are just made and hot. Overall, not bad. Will definitely try again. read more

Food was good and filling it was also quick and high quality good job the drinks were great thanks

I ordered via Uber Eats and it was still warm upon delivery. Overall, great pizza. The dough is nice and light. The mushroom was great and toppings worked all together. However, it's something about the char that throws me a bit off. I don't enjoy the burnt taste to the fullest but maybe others will. read more

Pupatella is a welcome addition to the West Springfield restaurant scene, especially after the recent loss of Coal Fire Pizza and Austin Grill. The stand-alone building in the Old Keene Mill Shopping Center has in previous incarnations been a Hardee's and Tiyaki Grill. Pupatella has done an outstanding job in renovating the restaurant space! Kudos! Tables and banquettes are roomy, lighting is good, and the tile work around the order counter and pizza ovens is very attractive. Someone went to a lot of work painting the decorative graffiti on two of the walls. There is small full bar with just a few seats. Staff were welcoming on our first visit and explained their ordering system. Patrons order at the counter and take a number to their seat. The pizza is brought to your table. I ordered a Custom Pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and Kalamata olives. (For custom pizzas, you select the sauce and cheese.) My wife ordered tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, Nonna's Meatballs and roasted red peppers. Pupatella tells us that they serve Neapolitan style pizza. Indeed the pizza is in the European style, meaning it is a single 11 inch pizza meant to be eaten as your meal. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. My only reservation was that the pizza was on the soggy side. If Pupatella were to make the pizza a bit more crispy and solid it would be wonderful. We'll definitely be back. Other items, including salads and panini are also on the menu. read more

Mixed feelings about this place, especially this location. I was excited when this location opened up since we wouldn't have to make the rare trek to Arlington. In spite of being a New York style pizza fan, I can appreciate Neapolitan pizza for what it offers. The crust is very thin and softer. It also seems relatively "healthier" than other styles since it's not laden with grease. We usually do carry out from this location, which is where the problem comes in. Online ordering is available, but no special requests or modifications are possible through their system. Therefore, many times I try to call in my order. The last three times I called them, I was unable to get through. The recording says they are busy and please leave a message or call back. Each time I call back, I get the same message. When I try to leave a message, the recording says voice box is full. This time, it didn't even give me any options; it just said voice box is full and hung up. And each of the last three times I couldn't get through, I've come into the restaurant to see it pretty empty, not busy and no phones ringing. I usually come before the rush so pizza comes out quickly. The pizza is decent. Because of the thinness of the dough, you are only able to have three toppings per pizza, which is fine. I like a simpler pizza. Toppings are fresh but could use a boost of flavor. I always have to sprinkle a little salt, and it helps bring out of the flavors. The space is bright with several tables and some bar type seating against the front glass wall. We have eaten in once around 5ish when the sun was going down. The sun came through the glass windows and made it impossible to sit facing the door. They have no shades so I had to change my seat and sit side by side my husband with our backs to the glaring sun. Outdoor seating is also available. read more
