For all you yelpers out there who see the 4 stars on here and ignore the bad reviews- i was like that too until I took my puppy there. I would give 0 stars if I could simply because of how badly thy butchered his fur. One side of his leg/butt is completely bald, his back is all choppy - looks like a 5 year old tried to shave him. I have never seen a more uneven cut in my life. The worst part is - we had to pay/tip before we even got the chance to see him and it was $80 for our 14 pound puppy. Update - just had to take my dog to the vet to have his glands empties. They weren't emptied during the groom even though it was supposed to be included in the services we paid for. read more

I took my girl in yesterday. Unfortunately they made me pay and tip before they brought her out or mI wouldn't have paid or tipped. NOTHING that I asked for was done...don't touch the ears..ears cut...letting the bangs grow out..bangs not only cut but sheared. Her entire FACE was sheared. She was matted in her neck only! And they sheared her ENTIRE body. AND they knicked her little elbows and she's bleeding! Just cruel! As my husband says--there's not enough liquor in the house to get over this bad hair cut. Don't take your shih tzu or mix here. Awful! No patience. Before and after pics. I have NO TEDDY BEAR left. Zero stars for these guys. HORRENDOUS job. read more

This groomer is Awesome!!! My mini schnauzer, looks great everytime and I get so many compliments on how handsome he looks!

Nice operation. Timely, good quality. Need to book in advance a couple of weeks to get the date you want.

Always a pleasure to visit Pup n Cuts. Very clean and professional environment. We love our groomer Dominque.

I just moved to the Brookhaven area and had to find a groomer for my shih poo. Yesterday was my second time taking her in and I have been overly pleased with not only the cut and way that they handle her but also the timeliness and customer service. I will continue to use them for her grooming needs. The groomer even came out to talk to me 5 star experience overall. read more

I've been taking my 2 Golden's for over a year and they've always done a good job. Friendly staff and highly recommended.

My pup has been going to Pup-N-Cuts for 11 years. His grooming is always top notch thanks to Chris largely, but no matter who grooms him, I'm always pleased. The owner and staff love my pup and he's always excited to go see them! Pup-N-Cuts is hands down the best grooming salon in Atlanta! read more

We're new to this groomer and thought they would be more transparent about their pricing. I was told that my dog's service would cost $15 less than what was charged. When I asked about the jump in price, they stated that using a dremel nail file on her instead of using the clippers was the reason. That is ridiculous! I was never told that I would be getting charged extra for using a different tool on my dog's nails. Instead, I arrived expecting to pay what was agreed upon to an unpleasant surprise. Her haircut turned out ok but I feel like I was duped. Bottom line: they should be more transparent about their pricing when speaking to their customers. read more

Haven't taken my dog here for grooming yet but I went there to buy puppy wipes and hair brush. Anita is really nice. She helped me pick up a right brush for my dog. She answered all my questions. I can't wait to take my dog to pup n cuts for grooming. read more

Great first experience for a nail trim for my pupper. So glad to have this resource in Brookhaven!!

By far the best groomers in Chamblee/ Brookhaven! Awesome customer service and does an excellent job on my very furry pup

I really wanted to love this place, but after picking up my dog, I questioned what I paid $60 for. I could still see the where the harness rubbed off on his fur and I wondered if he was even given a haircut at all. His fur was still the same length even though I specifically asked for a shorter groom. I just feel like if he was groomed, those marks would've disappeared. Disappointing all in all, as they did an awesome job with his head. read more

love these peeps- the people who work there are really nice and very caring. I have taken my sweet puppy to them twice now to get her nails trimmed - she has black paws and nails so it is difficult to trim them without hurting her - but I have never heard a peep from her - she comes out happy and with trimmed and sanded little paws read more

I went bc of reviews and recommendation from City Dog for grooming. While the wash and groom were fine, I was disappointed that after being quoted on the phone and upon arrival at one price they charged a large dog up charge at checkout. Also, FYI Google maps took me to the wrong location. read more

My dog's nails were ridiculously long and in need of a trimming. I didn't know where to go, so I called City Dog Market in Brookhaven to ask for recommendations. They recommended Pup-N-Cuts and it turns out that they are located right down the street! I called to check their availability and they were able to get my precious dog in the next hour. I took her in and chatted with the front desk worker while they trimmed her nails. Ten minutes and $15 later, we were good to go! In the area of nails, they offer a nail clipping for $10 or nail grinding for $15. They're located in a house on Apple Valley Rd. next to the Blo beauty place. I recommend! read more

Loved the location and loved this place. Everyone was really nice and were careful with my poor Maddox since his paw pad was injured. He smells so great and seemed happy himself. Price was great too. Dental cleaning was awesome. Thank you Pup-N-Cuts! read more

WOW what an awesome place. I have a very large anxious dog, very badly matted. He spent 4 hours at pup-N-cuts and has never looked better. They washed, brushed and de-matted without cutting or shaving. They were gentle and patient. Highly recommend pup-N-cuts. read more

My 4-year old Yorkie and her 3-year old sister had been groomed by Michelle Steely at Doguroo all their life. Even though I moved to California for a year and am now in Michigan, I still wait until I fly my dogs down to Atlanta to schedule their bi-annual grooming (usually Christmas time and summer time) with Michelle. That's how good she is, especially at handling all my strange haircut requests and treating my babies nicely (my dogs have no problem jumping into her arms when I drop them off). When Michelle left Doguroo to start her own in-home grooming business in Douglasville, about 50 miles from my brother's house (where I stay when I visit Atlanta), I immediately reached out to her to see if she can still groom my dogs if I don't mind driving an hour and a half each way to see her. Unfortunately, due to the in-home nature of her business and the fact that she would need someone to help watch one of my dogs while the other is getting groomed, the logistics just didn't work. Disappointed, I ended up scheduling an appointment with the new groomer at Doguroo, Ashley. While Ashley certainly didn't do a bad job, it wasn't good either - she left stray hairs everywhere, their head (which was supposed to be shaved short) had a short mullet/mohawk-y thing going on, their Clydesdale-style legs looked more like bowlegged cowboy chaps, and my clothes were covered in hair after picking them up. Because she had already left by the time I picked them up (20 mins after they called me), she couldn't fix the haircuts for me. At $50/dog, I would have preferred not having to attempt a grooming fix myself at home... What's worse, my dogs were shaking and anxious. It's clear they were not happy with their experience with the new groomer. That was in January and I've been keeping an eye out for a new grooming place to take them. When I saw Pup-n-Cuts on LivingSocial, I figured why not. I scheduled a month out because they were so busy! On the day of their appointment, I completely forgot until my phone gave me the 10-min reminder. Because I was out and needed to go home to pick up the dogs and then drive to Pup-n-Cuts, I called to ask if I needed to reschedule or if there's some way they would be able to squeeze my kids in throughout the day if I dropped them off by 11:15 (for a 10am appointment). The owner, Anita, was super nice on the phone and said I should go ahead and come by even though they are booked for the day. They're located in a little house that's easy to miss but the setup is nice and you can see the grooming area, rather than other places that take them "to the back". Around 3:30, I received the call that my dogs were ready to go and, when I picked them up, they looked almost as good as when Michelle used to groom them. No major fixes + no shedding hair + no traumatized dogs = I'll be back! read more

Great experience here! I previously used a mobile groomer, but, after two cancellations, decided to try a spot in my neighborhood. I'm glad I did. The staff is very friendly and my dog was groomed to my specifications. It was also cheaper than the mobile service. Pup-n-Cuts did a much better job. Well worth it. I'm glad I gave them a try. read more

I had a great experience! Chris was an awesome groomer and everyone that I spoke with was polite. Yoshi looks great after her haircut and she was done quickly. I'll definitely go back! read more

I'm somewhat new to pups-n-cuts. So far I am loving it. The staff is super nice and I've never had a problem getting appointments for both my dogs. I've only been a few times but am not looking for a new groomer anytime soon read more

I have brought my dog here for a couple years now, and have always been very happy with the service! He smells amazing for days after his grooming, and they always so a great job with his coat. I've had some bad experiences with choppy/uneven trims at other groomers, but I always know he is in good hands when he comes here! read more

I really like this place. I typically go to PetSmart for my dogs grooming however I wanted to try something local and more personable. They did a quick consult with me and knew exactly what I wanted for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She was so happy and clean when I picked her up, and I was very satisfied with the overall cut. The only thing that could've been improved was her nail trimming, they missed a nail and the others were still quite long. Great experience, clean, and I will definitely be going back. read more

Carl is great! Stella (my golden doodle) always comes home happy and well groomed! Thank you Carl for taking great care of my baby!

That are GREAT with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! They also know how to groom a Great Pyrenees, and not every grooming place does. Our dog Comet doesn't especially like it when you comb his "tail feathers," but he loves Carl (even when he gets a "sanitary" treatment!). read more

These guys did a great job. When I came in with Einar I asked lots of questions. They took the time to explain and pointed out on Einar (a bit unusually Miniature American Shepherd) what their service provided. As consumers we have to take responsibility and ask! The owner Anita came around the counter and pointed out everything covered. We did the full service package. The price was competitive and based on outcome very fair! Picking up Einar on schedule we sat down in the lobby and everything promised was done and very professionally. Einer looked great and was very happy! Pup-N-Cuts was very friendly, professional and very dog friendly. We will be back. Thx Anita. read more

We love Pup N Cuts. Friendly, professional, and fun service. We've never been disappointed with service for our goldendoodle.

Amazing folks who really care for their animals. I used their express service which takes a pet through grooming in an hour with no cage time, and it was exceptional service. read more

Bella has been groomed at Pup N Cuts for years and she loves Carl and Anita. They are very accommodating, often get us in at the last minute and she always looks beautiful. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. They have embraced Bella's desire to not be caged and get her in and out for an express appointment quickly without sacrificing quality. Bella adores them and is always excited to go. I have been completely satisfied with the results! read more

Took my shih tzu/poodle mix in today for the first time. They did a fantastic job! I will definitely be taking him here going forward.

BEWARE - I had been taking my dog here every 6 weeks for a year and a half since she was a puppy. She saw Anita a couple of times but had been seeing Carl for the last few months. Pup N Cuts in Brookhaven was the only groomer until recently that she has ever been to. While I was out of town visiting my parents, I happened to take her to my mom's groomer. My mom's groomer said that it looked like her dew claws had either never been cut or had not been cut in a very long time and were almost to the point of growing into her skin which would have been very painful for my dog. Although at that point they had lost my business, I wanted to call Pup N Cuts and make them aware of the situation to try to stop this from happening to someone else's dog. I left a message with a girl who answered the phone and explained the situation. She promised Anita would give me a call back within the next couple of days, but of course I never heard back from them. That was two or three weeks ago. My mom is friends with her groomer and that groomer knew I was from out of town and would likely never come there again. I completely trust her. My advice would be to take your dog somewhere else. The fact they didn't call me back makes me wonder if they even care. read more

the women in the front are very sweet and you can tell that they really do love animals. my cat has high anxiety so i was a little worried about leaving her for 4 hours (which is how long they said it would probably take) but when i came to pick her up (only took 2 hours) she was chilling in the front with one of the receptionist, very calm and relaxed.. i could tell she was very well taken care of while being away from me and her haircut was just how i asked. i'll be bringing her here from now on read more

Wonderful experience. Friendly & professional staff. Anita, the owner, made me feel very comfortable bringing my special needs dog to her (it was the first time he was groomed by anyone other than me in years). She met with me and my pup beforehand and after he was familiar with her, she took him back to be groomed. I paid the extra $10 for the express groom (no crates, pup is groomed immediately and turn around time is 1 hour). When I returned to pick up my pet, he looked great & was very happy! I expected him to mope around the house, be traumatized etc. He was completely fine....even happier after he was groomed than beforehand. I absolutely LOVED Pup-N-Cuts. I would highly recommend this groomer to anyone, but especially to someone that is nervous about taking their pet to a groomer. A+ & will definitely return. read more

Pup-n-Cuts is top dog.. my furry boy and I love this place. The staff was so inviting and knowledgeable... I will keep coming back.

They were nice and welcoming, but they were not very clear about what I was paying for. I am not sure how they do with dogs, but I brought my cat here and they did a very poor job. The cut was choppy and uneven. Not worth it for the money I paid. I will look for a different place next time. read more

They did a great job on my mini Schnauzer! She looks really pretty and I'll be returning.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I took my baby here because I had a bad experience with another groomer which they were well aware of. First of all he barely had any hair after his cut which I asked them to leave at least an inch since it is winter and cold outside. When I got home I gave him a good look over and noticed a piece of his skin was missing on his belly(about the size of a dime). They didn't trim his nails, pluck his hair in his ears or express his anal glads. I know these things because I am a Veterinary Technician. I treated the cut on his belly, trimmed his nails and expressed his anal glands(which I had just paid for). Any regular person would have had to take their pet to their Veterinarian to treat the type of cut my baby had but because I am a Veterinary Technician I have medication and the know how to do so. I called and talked to Candice to report this and she did nothing to resolve this. She was rude, did not offer a refund and worst of all didn't apologize. I use clippers every day that I am at work to prep patients for surgery and several other types of treatments and I have NEVER cut a patient with clippers. Considering they did cut my baby and the fact that they do this every day all day tells me they were in a hurry and careless and this is not the type of care I want for my pet. read more
