Came here for breakfast. So delicious! We've tried many spots for Colombian breakfast and honestly this is the best! The calentado with lluevos pericos, carne asada, arepa queso with rice and beans absolutely delicious. The bread pan debono and others were soft delicious and flavorful!! This is out of our area but we will be returning! Oh and the beef empanada is so good.

You don't have to go to Jackson Heights to satisfy your Colombian food cravings. Just hit up La Sevillana in Freeport NY, Trust me you won't be disappointed and you'll be leaving with your "pansa" full. Serving up all your "platos tipicos", steaks minutes off the grill you can still taste that char, awesome seafood and freshly "jugos" just like your "abuela" use to make. If you're still not full after, Step up to their bakery counter for the some of the best cheese empanadas, "buñuelos" and "deditos de queso". The staff prides themselves with great and attentive service. You'll feel like you're home!

We were there to enjoy Mother's Day dinner with family and friends, which made this entire experience even more upsetting and disappointing. Manager BRENDA made the reckless decision to squeeze 9 people into a table clearly meant for 8. As a direct result, there was barely enough room for the server to maneuver, and a full glass was accidentally knocked over onto my friend's son's head. He was drenched, covered in broken glass, and understandably shaken. What happened next was even more disturbing than the accident itself. Rather than taking responsibility for her poor judgment in overcrowding our table, BRENDA openly stated that she would place the blame on the server. Stating that "she will have the server pay for our dinner out of his check." BRENDA never once came over to check on my friend's son, despite knowing that he had glass in his hair and was soaked from head to toe. Not a single word of concern. No apology. No compassion. When I calmly explained that this situation stemmed from her decision to seat too many people at an undersized table, BRENDA became defensive, raised her voice, and spoke to me in an incredibly rude and confrontational manner. She created a scene in the middle of the restaurant and somehow managed to make us feel as though this was our fault. Accidents happen. What is unacceptable is a manager who refuses to accept accountability, throws her own staff under the bus, ignores the well-being of a child, and treats paying customers with hostility and disrespect. The server was clearly doing his best under impossible circumstances. The real issue was BRENDA poor decision-making and disgraceful handling of the aftermath. To have a child soaked with a drink and covered in broken glass during what was meant to be a special Mother's Day dinner turned what should have been a warm family celebration into one of the most upsetting dining experiences we have ever had. Until this establishment addresses its management and customer service standards, I will strongly advise others to dine elsewhere.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm, lively, and welcoming. You can really see the attention to detail in everything, from the dining area to the presentation of the food and plates. The service was excellent. Even though the restaurant was busy, every employee had a smile on their face and made us feel welcome. You can tell there is great management behind this place because the team works together very professionally and everything runs smoothly. The food was outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The sangria was amazing, and the live singer created a perfect atmosphere for the night. I truly enjoyed the entire experience. I have been in hospitality management for more than 26 years, and I can honestly say this place is being handled the right way. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chef's name, but compliments to the chef for doing such an incredible job. I'm really glad we decided to come here and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Keep doing what you are doing -- it's working.

Hidden gem! I came here for the first time last week and was excited to try this location as arepas…read moreare evidently their specialty. I ordered one of their signature arepas: The Joint and it was great. It was juicy, packed with a good amount of food and was a nice combination of flavors. As a plantain enthusiast this was the perfect arepa for me. 1 arepa would be filling for the average person. My boyfriend ordered the El Poco Loco for us to split which I wasn't too crazy about - it reminded me of a crispy chicken sandwich and I didn't care for the sauce on this. I didn't bother to eat this after the first bite. Additionally I got to try the tres leches and this was better than I expected. I'm always hesitant to try tres leches because there are so many ways to prepare it. This way was more classic and simple with just the cake and the 3 milks at the bottom. It came served in a square dessert cup. It felt a little small for the price but the taste was worth it. My only constructive feedback for the cake is that the cake would be even better if it was a little less dry as far as texture but that can be hard to balance as you don't want the cake to become too wet over time due to it soaking in the milk. I can't wait to revisit: I'll be getting the tres leches again and would love to try the El Guey.

As a trial I ordered the minis and got one of each. The bread is light and fluffy and the meats sufficient with nothing special about the cheese. They come with different dips of 3. Id say by the color, hot sauce, russian dressing and maybe green guacamole. Also on the menu and purchased was noted sweet plaintains. They were well cooked and just ok for the sweetness. Now the Empanada of ham and cheese was perfectly cooked and fresh. They have a variety of specialty drinks and of course bottled water. (see pix) Their food is Columbian and or Venezuelan and was made fresh. They do not have desserts of which there is an icecream place in their shopping strip and a deli, the later having various puddings for sale.
