I want to update my review based on my sister's experience yesterday. She went in and ordered food to go. While she was waiting she asked if they could give her one of her empanadas to eat while there and she sat at an empty table to wait. When her food was ready they charged her 18% gratuity on her whole order for sitting and eating her empanadas while she waited. She demanded to know why considering all she ate there was an empanada and everything else is was to go. They refused but she insisted. They also charge you for the containers of your to go order. That's ridiculous! We will be complaining because they can't mandate an 18% tip for food to go. read more

Punto Rojo is a Colombian restaurant/bakery. It's been a stable at this particular location for as long as I can remember. The food portion of the menu is made fresh so definitely order ahead. I almost trying all the different items from the bakery and candy section as well. This spot is unique because it's open late and will satisfy any type of craving from salty to sweet. My favorite thing to get is any of the typical platters so much food! Lasts about 2/3 meals mattering how much you can eat haha. The service is nice but sometimes they do mess an order up here and there so just check your food before you leave. If you are looking to try any Colombian food or treat this is the place. read more

I can't complain about this place because everything they have is soo good! I love their soups, each day they have a different lunch special that comes with soup and entree next to it and very affordable. Their service is very fast and always on point in all their locations because I think they have 5-6 locations already. The restaurant is clean and very cozy. read more

Stay away from this garbage dump! This is the worst Colombian bakery to exist. We placed an order for a Colombian dark cake which cost us $60 for a friend's 50th birthday party, and they gave us something completely different which can only be described as garbage! They ruined our friends birthday because when we cut the cake we had no choice but to serve it, even though it was not what we had ordered and paid for, but unfortunately everyone threw away the cake because it tasted awful and we were mortified for having ruined the birthday celebration. I hope this place gets shut down for horrible service and terrible food! read more

Came here for breakfast. So delicious! We've tried many spots for Colombian breakfast and honestly this is the best! The calentado with lluevos pericos, carne asada, arepa queso with rice and beans absolutely delicious. The bread pan debono and others were soft delicious and flavorful!! This is out of our area but we will be returning! Oh and the beef empanada is so good. read more

Ordered a tres leches cake from here for my mom's birthday -- it's her FAVORITE. Called to order, the woman taking my order was very accommodating and nice. Reasonably priced. Picked up to order, the cake was perfect. We ordered a larger cake (they sell them by the pound). It looked too big. People asked to take some home. It was a hit. By the next morning, the entire cake was gone! Highly recommend, for at least, the tres leches cake. read more

Maybe (DIANA) is having a bad day or she is just naturally a RUDE ASS FEMALE !!! I'm here on vacation with my family and decided to eat here because I have never tried Colombian food and thought today would be great !!! No since we walked in she had a attitude with me I had many questions to ask her about the food and she had no answers and said WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE EATING GET IT ... not professional .. So fast forward to when I got my plate of food and strawberry shake, the shake fell on top of my plate and she seen it fall but said THATS NOT MY FAULT OR MY PROBLEM like I almost got up to beat someone's behind ... Being there is like feeling home. The set up it is Colombian, the music is Colombian and the food it is very close to what we usually have in a Colombian bakery. The staff is kind and always trying to get your order fast. I am fascinated with the breakfast menu and a natural juice is a good complement. Sweet little Colombian spot in Freeport. Felt right at home. They had an amazing Colombian breakfast, most of you guys might think it's crazy having rice with beans in the AM. It's really not. It's very typical of Colombians to have this kind of meal. It's called calentado, the most delicious heavy meal you will have all day. The empanadas are good the bakery delights were also good. Came here for the first time and the desserts we got weren't good. The flan wasn't good and the strawberry filled pastry we got wasn't good either. It barely had any filling in it. Very disappointing but we did have natural juices (guanabana and guayaba) which were really good. I'd go back for the drinks not the desserts. read more

I love Colombian Bakeries. La Sevillana has several locations. I am happy for this location. There buñelos are what I love: crispy on the outside and soft, full and moist on the I inside. Hmm. The pan de queso was also delicious. I could have ate two more. I did not like their avena. It was a little to sweet for me. But that is just my preference.
